There was also a smell coming from the bar which smelled like old alcohol. It's not fish but it gives you an idea of the cleanliness. We decided to get the katsu don and the pad Thai. Two cooked dishes that seemed like a safe choice. The pad Thai wasn't bad. It tasted like the dish should taste and was a large serving. The katsu don was not as good. The katsu was dry and the rice was tasteless. I mean it didn't even taste like white rice. It just wasn't good at all. At the end, we were just glad to eat something other than tacos.
