Pass the door and you'll be transported to the other side of the world, ready to indulge in the flavors of Japanese teppanyaki. The wooden beams, overall décor and large open kitchen give it that authentic feel, but beyond the welcoming look and feel you will get to appreciate some excellent food. Not to mention, good value for money if you consider how expensive Japanese food can be in Belgium. We went on a busy Saturday night and were seated at the counter facing the sushi chef. The teppanyaki that followed were equally good, with a preference for my beef order accompanied by tasty mushrooms and a flavorsome jus. Prawns were no showstopper but weren't in any way bad. We were guided to a nice table with a view on the small garden and pond. We started off with two Japanse cocktails, one of which came in a ceramic figurine. We got the bento box and the teppanyaki beef. Every bit of the lunch menu (some appetizers and a miso soup) came at a leisurely pace. Our main course was very tasty and appealing to the eye. All in all it was a wonderful culinary experience. We'll be sure to come again!
