Susan has helped us buy and sell our home, she has gone above and beyond for us. She helped us reach our goals in every way. There is no agent more tenacious, knowledgeable, and responsive then her. She has so much experience on the peninsula, therefore, always provides great advice based on market trends. She helped us navigate inspections, negotiations, and repairs throughout our buying and selling experience. Every transaction has gone through flawlessly and always on time. She never left a single detail unattended. Susan made us feel like she was a part of our family, wanting the best for us. We will never use anyone else. Thank you Susan!! read more

We met Susan randomly at an open house in Foster City. She was helping a colleague out and although we weren't interested in that particular house, we decided to stop in since we were down the street. This was the best decision ever. We only talked to Susan briefly that afternoon, but there was just something about her personality that immediately made us feel at ease. A few weeks later, we met with Susan and a business relationship was formed! Susan is everything we wanted in a realtor: professional, experienced, patient, understanding, honest, and an all around wonderful human being. I cannot emphasize those qualities enough (as we have met with other realtors who were none of those things!). Last summer Susan helped us with the sale of our condo in Foster City. She really went above and beyond in every possible way imaginable to get our condo ready to be put on the market. Whenever decisions had to be made, Susan would let us know all of our options, the pros and cons of each choice, and gave us time to think about it. She truly watched out for us and our best interest. If you're reading this and need a realtor, you will not regret working with Susan (just look at all her five star reviews on Yelp!). Whenever I refer to her now, it's not "our realtor Susan," but it's "our friend Susan who is also a realtor." She is simply THE best! read more

Results! That's what we got when we listed our home with Susan. She "held our hand" throughout the process and made sure that we got the best offer for our home. This process was not as simple as I'd imagined. Susan knows all of the intricacies of the market and how to overcome any challenges that pop. up. We couldn't have done it without her. read more

Susan Wang is a unicorn - a real estate professional that combines integrity, grace, and unending patience with tenacious smarts and a keen knowledge of peninsula housing market. I have used her to buy two houses (dating back to 1996!) and sell one. She is a delight to work with and provides exceptional personal service. A dedicated professional who truly puts her clients first, Susan is knowledgeable, diligent and responsive. She surrounds herself with an amazing network of equally top-notch professionals. I trust her implicitly with all of my real estate needs and recommendations. read more

Buying and selling homes is already a hard process, so having an agent who not only is thorough, attentive, and has the experience to navigate the intricacies of the market critical, but having an agent who is also incredibly ethical is key. An agent with these qualities will make all the difference between a tumultuous move and a smooth one. Feel free to have any other agent than Susan, but if these things are important to you, then there is no better agent than Susan. She sold our home, and simultaneously helped us buy a new one that seemed almost effortless especially during a covid period with our newborn. Again, feel free to get another agent and settle for less, but with Susan you will never second guess that decision. read more

As first time home buyers in a very competitive market, we couldn't have been more thankful that we found Susan to help us in our home buying process. We started our home search using a Redfin agent, and we didn't know what we were missing until we started working with Susan - it was literally like night and day. We had put in multiple offers through Redfin with no luck, and once Susan stepped in we had an offer accepted in no time. Susan is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, a great listener, and so helpful. She is truly an expert in the peninsula market, and is the perfect example of a full service experience. She will do everything from following up with inspectors when you have questions to arranging meetings with contractors in order to find you the perfect home. She has so many dependable connections in the peninsula to help you with anything you could possibly think of when buying a home. Even once we got an offer accepted and the closing was complete, Susan still stuck by our side to guide us through the updates we had to make to our new home. She always goes above and beyond to make sure you have the home of your dreams. One of my favorite qualities of Susan is that she is incredibly positive, and answering a phone call from her immediately puts a smile on your face because of her unwavering enthusiasm. We are so lucky to have had the chance to work with Susan, and would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat! read more

I do not think I have every been more passionate about a five star review. Susan Wang came highly recommended fourteen years ago from a good friend. I utilized her through a difficult and highly competitive buying environment and was awarded with outstanding service from beginning to end. Even after our purchase she was super helpful as she is well connected and put is in touch with highly skilled (and reasonably priced) contractors for projects around the house. Fast forward to 2017, when it came time to finally sell our home I didn't even hesitate and contacted Susan as I knew I could trust her with the sale. Once again, Susan came though with flying colors. She not only helped list our home but was a valuable resource with all the little details that come with selling a home. Susan is beyond responsive and is there every step of the way. Her knowledge of the marketplace is key and she put all her effort in marketing and selling our home including targeting the right audience. In the end we received multiple highly qualified offers and had to make the difficult the decision on which to choose from. Again, she was amazing with explaining the details of each offer and what we could expect from each potential buyer. Susan has bought and sold homes for many of my friends on the Peninsula and I can tell you that without question, every single one of them would share the same experience we did. Thank you Susan! read more

Susan was awesome! This has been a tough market as buyers and Susan has stuck with us through the whole thing. She took our whole list of desires into account when finding homes for us. She was readily available to schedule and visit homes with us quickly and had a wealth of knowledge regarding neighborhoods. We fortunately found the perfect home for my family and it is all thanks to Susan. She has still been involved after closing and continues to keep in touch with us and we truly appreciate it. read more

Susan is amazing! I have worked with her on two property purchases in the past 15 years. Each time, we only had to bid once, and we got the property both times. Susan knows the real estate market in the Peninsula very well, because she knows all the ins and outs of the process. Buying (or selling) real estate is always a bit complicated, so having someone by your side to guide the way from start to finish is indispensable. Highly recommended! read more

Susan is an amazing agent and partner. We absolutely loved working with her. She is empathetic, hard-working, persevering, creative, and great at developing relationships with other agents and parties involved in the transaction. We always knew she had our best interest in mind. We interviewed many agents during our selection process, and knew she was the one for us! We were very selective during our home search, and she was very patient to help us find exactly the right home. More often than not, she would dissuade us from "settling" on a home that did not really meet our criteria. I don't think most agents would do that.  She did a great job throughout the purchase process helping keep us on track and proactively identifying potential issues and obstacles early in the process. We would absolutely recommend Susan to anyone without hesitation, and work with her again on future real estate transactions. read more

Susan helped me buy my first home -- a condo in San Carlos. This was my first time buying so I was a little nervous and had a lot of questions. She was very patient, answered a lot of my questions, gave me advice on additional things I should consider, and connected me with some very smart advisors for some additional questions I had. Susan helped me not only navigate the Bay Area real estate market, but also help me understand what my own needs and desires were. It took a lot of time and I couldn't be happier with my condo! Following closing, she has been very helpful in finding additional resources about renovations and repairs, as well as answering insightful questions about what I might want to update in the condo that will help increase its value. read more

I wish there were 6 stars as 5 isn't enough for Susan! I am convinced that Susan is the most friendly, calm, level-headed, detail-oriented, professional and knowledgeable real estate agent to ever exist. Susan helped us buy a condo in 2003 and and just recently to sell the same property. We would have used her to buy our next property except we moved out of the area...darn it! Susan guided us through every step of both they buying and selling arenas. I'm convinced it was due to her advice that we didn't overbid on our buy and got top dollar when we sold. She was always responsive, came to our house for meetings and consultations and went above and beyond in every aspect of her service. Susan is a great listener and provided sound advice, but also respected our wishes and decisions. I must highlight her attention to detail as it really made a huge difference in both the physical recommendations on the properties and on the paperwork side of things, which is quite intense. Susan has professional, top-notch contacts for painting, carpets, staging, general handyman or contractor work and probably more. She coordinated everything with them which made it so easy. Susan is cheerful and delightful to work with. I am so grateful that she was our agent!!! read more

By far and away the best realtor in the bay area, we could not have better things to say about Susan. Her knowledge of the industry and area made navigating the real estate market in the peninsula so much easier and less stressful than it could have been. We have just bought our first home and I can definitely say it would not have happened without Susan's help. Since this was our first purchase, Susan was extremely patient and walked us through everything to expect, gave prompt and detailed advice and steered us clear of mistakes that could have cost us thousands. Here's my review of Susan right after we bought a house under "Coldwell Banker". We have been recommending her to all our friends ever since! She's great. I can't say enough good things about Susan Wang. Susan was referred to us by a friend who also purchased a home with her help. We searched for a home for close to a year with Susan, and couldn't be happier with her. I will try to summarize all the good things: - She's super knowledgeable. She patiently educated us on things to look for in a home, bringing up many aspects to consider and took the time to understand what were important to us. - She never, ever, pressured us into considering/offering for homes we weren't sure about. She was honest and straightforward with us throughout the entire process. She helped us to stick to our budget, guided us on how much to offer for homes, and earned our trust in a big way. - She worked tirelessly to help us figure out what to offer for each house we were interested in, bringing out experts (roofers, plumbers, electricians, etc) to inspect a house. That's just amazing! - Even after we closed, she has been helping us settling in, doing so many things above and beyond what I would have dreamed an agent would do! She's made an effort to stay in touch and help us in whatever way she can. In summary, I have talked to agents who were so pushy that I immediately knew I didn't want to work with them. I have purchased a condo in the past, and worked with other agents I liked. But Susan is in a different stratosphere of fantastic. If you are looking for an agent in her area (San Mateo, Belmont, San Carlos, Redwood City, Menlo Park, I think, but check her website), don't waste your time with anyone else, give her a call. read more

There are no words to describe Susan and all that she did for me during my housing search and even after. Her professionalism, skill, integrity, warmth, humor, compassion, attention to detail...I could just go on and on with as many positive affirmations and qualities the world has. She has so much knowledge in this business and is able to keep up and adjust to the demands of this industry; she really does make buying a home as simple as it can be. I would recommend Susan to anyone and everyone who would like to buy or sell a home. Susan also went as far as to help with excellent recommendations to help make my place move in ready and was so great about checking in to ensure everything went as smooth as possible. I really do not know how I would have been able to do this without her. Thank you Susan from the very bottom of my heart. read more

Five stars doesn't even come close to describing how great it is to work with Susan Wang. We just completed our fifth time buying/selling with Susan. This time around, we sold our home and then quickly turned around and bought in the area of our dreams. What makes Susan such a great realtor is her attention to detail and her dedication to her clients. She spent so much time carefully guiding us to prepare our house for sale, paying close attention to help us make the small changes and upgrades that ultimately would earn us 160k over asking price. She went over reports with a fine-toothed comb, catching anything that might have turned a potential buyer away. We sold in six days! Because we were able to sell so quickly, we had a good shot at a house we knew was coming on the market. Once again, we were so lucky to be working with Susan. She has such a great rapport with other agents, is flexible, helpful, and willing to work to match anyone's style. Ultimately, she is working to get the best for her clients, in the smoothest way possible, and it shows. We were able to get that house - and even close in 15 days. Before we even had time to let it all sink in, we had sold for over asking, and turned around and bought our forever home in the area of our dreams. And there's no doubt in our minds that it was all due to Susan. We are so grateful for her expertise and friendship, and recommend her with the utmost confidence! Thank you read more

Susan came very highly recommended to us through a friend and after working with her, it is very clear why our friends raved about her. I cannot recommend Susan more highly -- she worked with us for about a year as we went from thinking about buying and figuring out what we wanted to actually getting more serious about making offers. The Bay Area real estate market has become insane, but Susan was always there to help guide us through it all. She was always patient, listened to what we wanted and never tried to push us to go faster than we were comfortable with. One of the best things about Susan is she doesn't try to push you to a higher price range than your comfort level either. She is great at listening to you, reading between the lines and adjusting the properties she is showing you based on your feedback from other properties. When writing the offer, her expertise was very valuable. She has a great sense for what properties will go for, and has good insight into how much to offer without resorting to unnecessarily high amounts. Even after our offer was accepted, Susan continued to help us by arranging for various home repair/improvement vendors to come by the house and get estimates. Sometimes she even arranged for the entire estimate without our ever needing to be at the house and just emailed us the estimate. To this day if we need a recommendation for house repairs or just want her opinion on something, Susan is still always there for us. We have referred several people to use Susan as their agent and we will definitely use her again and will continue to send anyone and everyone we know to Susan if they are looking to buy or sell on the peninsula! read more

Susan Wang is simply amazing! She is so professional, knowledgable, extremely patient and is always on top of things! She helped me find exactly what I was looking for! She is honest and looking out for my best interest the entire time. She works so hard and tries her best to guide me through the process as much as she can. Since I travel a lot for work, she always meets me at random time to make the process as easy as possible! She is also very responsible and answers her phone calls/text messages/emails whenever she can. She always thinks a few steps ahead, which has definitely made the entire process painless. I can't thank Susan enough for assisting me every step of the way throughout the whole process and would definitely recommend her to any friend that needs help with buying properties! read more

My wife's sister recommended Susan Wang to us after the purchase of their house. We were immediately impressed with Susan's professionalism, authenticity, positive attitude, and thoroughness, and we felt very comfortable working with her. Our previous realtor was very technologically primitive, but Susan is very proficient in using electronic document signing, which helped speed up the process and response time. She was very accessible, and if she wasn't immediately available to answer our call, Susan would make sure to call back in a timely fashion, or communicate via email or text. What sets Susan above the rest is her experience and the ability to use those lessons to anticipate what might be our needs in finding a house, or how we should best respond to seller's counter offers, or what actions we should take to best protect our interests. My wife and I had a peculiarly long house hunting process of 2.5 years, but we never felt that Susan tired of dealing with us, and she consistently wrote up an offer for every house we were interested in. The house we finally found was a short sale, which dragged out the negotiations to almost 3 months. But Susan thoroughly explained the process to us, and kept us informed of the status every step of the way. We are so thankful to Susan for helping us navigate dealing with banks and extremely fickle, irresponsible sellers. We love our newly purchased home! She even helped line up contractors for the work we need to do on our house. TLDR: Susan is awesome, patient, works smart, experienced, tech savvy, thorough, ethical, and a joy to work with. 100% recommended. read more

Susan is fabulous! She helped me buy my house when I first moved to the Bay Area six years ago, and this May she helped me sell my house under these extraordinary circumstances brought about by COVID-19. Susan took the time to know me as a person not just as a client. When I was buying, she helped me find the perfect house, within my search parameters and (most importantly in the Bay area within my budget). She faced selling in our current Covid-world with equal aplomb. Ultimately, it was only through her dedication, patience, and substantial network that I was able to navigate selling a home during a pandemic. I'm still in awe of how seamlessly she navigated staging, marketing (the website, 3-D tour and photos were epic!), and ultimately helping me sell my house during a socially distanced, nascent virtual real estate market. The Bay Area real estate market can be cutthroat, and I would not navigate the market here without someone who is supremely responsive, knows what she is doing, is willing to educate her client, and who believes that more is more when it comes to communication. Susan was a trusted guide and ally to me from start to finish. She was prompt with her replies, thorough in her information, supportive with my desires, helpful with my worries, and clever in our negotiations. She always made me feel like I was the priority. I am so grateful I had the privilege of having Susan and my realtor! read more

Susan was referred to us by a friend and were so lucky to have her as our realtor. Before we were ultimately successful in buying a house, we had to make many, many unsuccessful offers. Each time, Susan was patient with us and she never ever pushed us into prices that we felt uncomfortable with. Each offer was made with patience and attention to detail, even when it was our fifth or sixth offer. Her insight, knowledge, and guidance IMO made the difference in our successful offer and enabled us to buy our present home. read more

Professional, collaborative, ethical, knowledgeable, methodical and efficient. Susan is warm, personable and takes great care to educate, facilitate and make the process as smooth as possible. Our family has worked with Susan on several property transactions over the years. Her expertise, network and pulse on the market lightened was very helpful. Susan is extremely professional with great resources and contacts. She was instrumental in scheduling and coordinating the multiple vendors needed throughout the process. Susan was exceptionally understanding, empathetic and helpful to meet with all the parties involved, and she personally jumped in to help when conflicting schedules precluded us from being available. After the transactions closed, Susan remained in touch to follow-up and ensure everything was in order and made herself available for any further questions/assistance. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not work with Susan on your next Real Estate deal. With so much information available to buyers and sellers today, the value of a RE agent has somewhat diminished. NOT with Susan. With decades of experience, she's plugged into the pulse of the San Mateo County real estate community. Within 2 months of working with Susan, my wife and I closed on our first home in San Mateo, within our budget, in a neighborhood we're happy with! We can't recommend her enough. If we ever buy/sell in San Mateo again we wouldn't think of working with anyone else! Thank you, Susan! read more

The Bay Area housing market, as of writing this post, is absolutely insane and buying a home seems impossible given all the circumstances. However, the biggest shortcoming most people overlook and experience when purchasing/selling a home, is having sub par agent. If you are fortunate to have Susan on your team, she will make daunting seem delightfully doable. Her unparalleled professionalism, hyper amiable personality, years of experience, and meticulously refined attention to detail makes her a pleasure to work with on both ends of the deal. Most importantly, having a pro like Susan will give you an intangible competitive edge in the market that will clearly separate you from all the other competition. In our experience, we closed our first home in 75% less time than our peers on average. You don't get that from sub par, good, or even great agents. Only the best will enable you to quickly beat out the competition and move into the home of your dreams. Susan is unarguably the best. The gold standard. read more

I have cleaned windows for Susan Wang for years and I have always appreciated her professionalism when dealing with her as a customer, so much so that my wife and I did not hesitate to choose her as our real estate agent when we were thinking of selling and buying our home. From the initial listing all the way to the final closing, Susan exceeded all our expectations. She will track down and resolve any detail no matter how small or seemingly trivial. Her attention to detail is unparalleled;from her professional photographer's pictures combined with the expertly designed property information we ended up receiving multiple offers over asking price. When it came to buying our home, Susan kept us informed daily about properties, just listed or upcoming to the market, always making herself available to view any property we wanted to see. When we finally found a home, in an extremely competitive market, we were just one among multiple offers. We would have felt a huge amount of stress except for the confidence we had in Susan. Both transitions, selling and buying our home, were seamless with Susan's help. Not only is she an amazing realtor, she is extremely ethical and a wonderful person. Our opinion was reinforced when meeting other realtors and learning how respected she is within the industry. read more

By working with Susan Wang, my husband and I were able to execute the dream---after house hunting with her for maybe 6 weeks (which we consider a short timeframe), we made one bid and with zero negotiations, bought our first home. The process was as painless as it could be and I adamantly believe without Susan's expertise and advice, we wouldn't have been able to execute so seamlessly. She's an absolute delight to work with---you can tell she's passionate about the market and knows it very well and she is a delight to talk to. Perhaps the best part of working with her is that I get to continue to work with her---she's helped us hire electricians, structural engineers, architects, general contractors and more. She has an insane network that you'd be a fool to not take advantage of and she only comes with the best of the best. read more

I don't think she sleeps much. 10 years later she has helped us sell that first home and has most recently helped us buy our next home. Both on the selling or buying side you can take comfort in her years of experience. She is very proactive, has a high level of attention to detail, and very organized. She is also a fun and wonderful person to work with who truly cares about her clients, always went the extra mile. Her standard of pleasing her clients is very high. Susan is a true "end-to-end" real estate sales professional, managing and coordinating all aspects of the residential sale process. In our case, from the home search and purchase of our San Carlos home until its sale twenty years later. Over those decades, Susan has been present as an advisor, a neighbor and a friend. We have referred her without hesitation to our friends and they, in turn, share our enthusiasm Here are some notable strengths which she brings to the table. We really enjoyed working with Susan to buy our first house. She was very knowledgeable about the areas that we were interested in and she provided great insight on what to look for in the houses that we toured. We had a short closing period of 21 days, and Susan expertly managed the process so we could close on time. We also loved how accessible she was - anytime we called or wanted to meet to look at a house, she was always available. Plus, she is super nice and patiently answered the millions of questions that we had since we were first time homebuyers. We highly recommend her. read more
