My very first appointment was a consultation, and she did a ultrasound the same day so we could get the ball rolling. We found out I had a polyp, and she scheduled me for removal. After having my first HSG and suspecting my tunes were blocked and I was crushed, she was still optimistic, she scheduled me for surgery to see if it could be unblocked. It couldn't, and although I still had one tube, she advised that IVF would be best. Stem cycle...first off let me start by saying I was 28 when starting off, Dr James started me off on the normal dosage and while responded, my response wasn't what she wanted it do be, she gradually upped my dosage. I ended up with 28 eggs, 11 of the 28 were frozen at day 5 and 1 on day 6. FET#1 while it ended in a chemical, Dr James did a perfect cycle even while dealing with her own personal crisis, she never let me or any other patients fall by the way side. Fast forward to FET # 4 Dr James thought outside of the book, she never just once said well I don't know but let's just try this. She always took the time out to specialize treatment for me. I was allergic to so many things but she never gave up. I am now 23 weeks pregnant with twins!!! I am eternally grateful to Dr Summer James! I also recommended a friend to go see Dr James after having an unsuccessful cycle with another RE, Dr James was able to do the almost impossible, and my friend delivered a beautiful baby boy in February! I would recommend Dr. James over and over and over again with no hesitation. Even through my failed cycles Dr James was there! I had 2 cycles of the IUI the first time I paid with my card and the second time I paid cash. The receptionist took my cash counted it out at the computer and handed me my calendar and scheduled the insemination date. I left the facility, they use this app where they post payments and changes like a medical file. Everything was correct on my app. They say you can't have the procedure until payment is made in full. I Had the 2 procedures... sadly they failed. I will say it wasn't easy , it was emotionally difficult... Ms. Cheryl Koone was sweet, she's a good provider. They said 1750.00 for the package . With the, the US, the insemination process, and everything else they help you do. After the first failed process I asked them how much would it be to do the process again they said 1750.00. In total for the two I gave them 3500.00. I then start to receive bills saying I owe them for the IUI procedure. I called to talk to the manager the financial advisor and they told me I never paid, then they said they found my credit card payment for the first one , BUT THEY COULD NOT FIND MY CASH PAYMNT. I literally cried but I think it was the hormones... I tell them to look at the cameras ! Check them I was not lying! They made me doubt myself. I know I paid because they would not schedule me without paying in full that's THEIR POLICY! they give you a purple small bag with the papers and the cup for the semen sample. During hormone treatment you feel the worst, and it was worse knowing they lost my payment and now they wanted me to pay again! I reached out to them no response other than they will look into it! Never heard from them again. I did see a message /email that THEY ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING CASH PAYMENTS... of course. I'm asking for answers, what happened, the footage of me at the counter. If they could help me have a baby keep the money!! I'll pay it all over again! I'm sad that my dreams of being a mother for the second time has failed, but now this nightmare of all these messages that I owe they close to 2800.00. For the same thing I paid for! Where to begin?! We moved to Austin from Arizona, and within about six months of being here, got…read morepregnant with our second child. We had an amazing home birth team in Phoenix, so our expectations were really high for the type of care and knowledge we wanted in our Midwife. Being new to Austin meant we didn't have a large network of people to ask for references, so I researched online, read reviews and looked through credentials. I knew very quickly I wanted to work with Christy and Jenni. I had an extremely difficult pregnancy, although I was also sick the entirety of my first as well. I had hyperemesis gravidarum, meaning I was throwing up constantly, losing weight, and unable to keep down hardly anything. Christy has a huge wealth of knowledge and practices functional medicine alongside traditional options. I was always given information of references for alternative therapies to help my nausea. They were always helping me manage my sickness and we worked closely with a perinatal MD for any tests or services Christy couldn't provide herself. I had incredible care throughout my pregnancy and can't stress enough how great a resource Christy was for every ailment. Our birth experience was awesome! It only lasted an hour and a half (sooo fast!) but it was in the middle of the night with a birth tub. Our baby was born in a state of shock, partially because of how quickly everything progressed, and had a little trouble breathing. Christy knew what to do immediately and got her breathing and feeding perfectly in no time. The postpartum care we received was incredible. I had pelvic floor issues and our baby had some skin issues and Christy and Jenni were always available to answer questions and connect us with a provider that could help if it was outside their realm. Truly, we can't say enough about our experience and this team of women! They are wonderful and you and your baby will be in great hands.

They are just. The best. Jenni and Christy helped my wife and I through two births, and unfortunately a few miscarriages. We first met them while interviewing for a midwife back in 2015. They are warm, responsive, realistic and the best part - they really care about you, your pregnancy and your experience. Our meetings were sometimes long - filled with laughter in addition to medical explanations of my changing body. They took a few minutes each time to do the medical stuff, blood pressure/pee test/feel for baby...but then, the rest of the time they just wanted to know how I was feeling. I miss them. When my birth came around, Jenni was my rock. She is kind and gentle - her presence during the chaos of birth was invaluable. She kept me calm, centered and most of all, feeling safe through 8 hours of active labor and a 3 hours of pushing. My kiddo didn't want to come out, but they literally pulled out a bag of tricks: peanut yoga balls, weird positions, ropes to pull on and things to rest my legs on. They kept my spirits up, even when in those moments of wanting to give up. And, with their help I birthed a healthy little girl in the comfort of my home. It was amazing. Women are amazing. Now I'm crying. I can't recommend these MotherBloom midwifery enough. They called her to change her appointment for today at 11:45am, then changed it to 12:15pm and than changed it to Monday around 3pm, and at the end they called her again that today was good at 12:15pm. We live in Seguin and this office is in the Creekside area in New Braunfels. So she starts driving to her appointment and there was a funeral passing by on 46 so she called the office to let them know that she's on her way but she might be 5 or 10 minutes late but she's on her way. The first lady she talked to said it was fine. My mom got there at 12:17 PM. She went inside, she's a little older so she doesn't know how to use the apps or computers. As soon as they saw her come in they gave her an ugly look and they looked upset that she couldn't do the paperwork on the phone. So another lady was called and she was speaking with her a little bit in Spanish, and apparently the app glitched, and it didn't save the information they had already put in and she got a little upset that they had to redo the whole thing. Than another lady comes into this conversation and says we're gonna have to move your appointment again because you're too late, and my mom explained; you guys said it was OK. They were trying to tell her that the doctor was already ready that she should have come in earlier to do all the paperwork and my mom got upset and she told them to cancel everything. My mom has been trying to go to the doctor for months to get check out, and finally she was able to get an appointment here to see if her body is doing well, because she was concerned about something and this is how you're treated in the front office. How is someone supposed to be calm and relaxed to a doctors appointment if this is how they treat you in the front. If you don't want to work, don't go to work. If you don't like Spanish-speaking patients maybe write that in your website. And stop changing the appointment times the actual day of the appointment. I'm her daughter and I'm typing this review because you guys would not have known what happened, since she doesn't know how to use a phone. And my mom is not the only patient who doesn't know how to use a phone to type all the information they need. Can you imagine how many more elderly go through this?

Transferring to TFC was the best decision we ever made. Dr Silverberg not only helped us conceive our baby boy through IVF, but he also discovered I was diabetic. Dr Silverberg is there for his patients, and he also got to the root cause of my miscarriages and after two procedures and the removal of all the polyps, I was finally able to have a successful pregnancy. I honestly wasn't sure we'd be able to have a baby until I met Dr. Silverberg. We will always be grateful to Dr. Silverberg and his team for helping us make our dream a reality. Our baby boy was born this fall! I can't tell you the amount of times I've emailed and called Dr. S's team with a billion questions, and they always met me with patience and compassion. Be sure to ask questions and voice any symptoms or concerns that you have at your appointments, because sometimes visits can go fast. If you forget, simply leave a message for the nurse line, and they will get back to you. After sharing with Dr S's team where I was mentally and physically with the IVF process, the team worked with me to find an IVF transfer protocol that met me where I was. IVF in general can be very mentally and physically draining, so be sure to let the team know how you're feeling if it becomes too much. I also had the privilege of having a couple of covering visits by Dr. Hansard and Dr Vaughn, who were excellent! I was met with compassion and patience at the visits with both of them. IMO these doctors are definitely worth the wait time. That's how you know they spend time with their patients and THEY CARE. Any great doctor's office typically has a wait time. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone struggling with infertility. The one learning curve I did have transferring from another clinic was figuring out how contacting the nurse team and doctor worked. At the last clinic, I was able to message them directly in a portal. At this clinic, you have to call and pick the correct extension depending on the day and time. So when you meet with your nurse on the first day, make sure you ask them the proper procedure for that and make sure you understand it. Once you've figured that out, it's pretty straightforward. Dr S's nurse team is stellar, and they are really on top of things. If only every doctor's office had a team like that! They have spoiled me with how good they are! Another thing is to stay on top of is the billing with the billing dept since appointments and procedures happen frequently. That's the one thing I wish I was more on top of and kept better track of, especially in the beginning of the journey.

The other parts of TFC aren't all great including the front desk is pretty worthless, they don't even let you know that a provider is running behind when it's over an hour behind schedule (multiple occasions). The checkout person is on her phone constantly and cannot give a receipt when you pay because she doesn't actually post to the account, another person in billing does that. You also cannot get ahold of anyone over the phone unless a nurse is calling you back at their convenience/on their schedule, they send secure messages to email which cannot always be retrieved (they didn't work for my device).

I have experience researching endocrine systems and didn't need things to be put in laymen terms. They *heard* me and we conversed on a level I felt appropriate. An important note- Dr. PK is very well known for his success rates with azoospermia patients. And their clinic is very comfortable handling delicate Micro-TESE sperm. Also, my husband is an immigrant who is shy with his English. They never made him feel unwelcome or stupid. He likes all of them a lot as well. I should also note that we began our journey with thein Sept 2016. At that time their financial person was horrible. I think a lot of people complained. I remember sitting in the room listening to the fees, trying not to cry, and she could obviously care less. HOWEVER, in early 2017 they got a new financial person who is much better with both accuracy and empathy. They worked with us in so many ways, I felt like the entire office was on our side. I still feel like they are on our side. After our retrieval, my progesterone was too high and we had to wait to do a frozen transfer. I'm glad I trusted this wisdom. We did another saline ultrasound during the wait and found more polyps. A quick surgery removed them and we did the frozen transfer a few weeks later. While I'm not sure how this will all end, my husband and I have a positive pregnancy blood test today. With our own eggs and sperm. Pretty awesome for a couple with azoospermia and a fibroid and polyp history. Bottom line - we trusted their wisdom and guidance and are glad we did. I had an appointment with my endocrinologist the next day, who reassured me the 'tumor' was a 1.4mm unconfirmed microadenoma. Nothing to worry about and she wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see it on my next scan. Even if it was a confirmed microadenoma it was far too small to have any effect on my pituitary gland. My family and I were taken on a cruel emotional roller coaster for nothing. Most communication and treatment is done through support staff, such as the NP, I saw the doctor maybe twice in my 1+ years with this facility.
