She might be as great as everyone says, but her receptionist was unhelpful, laxidasical and had no compassion.

When Dr Eisenberg came into exam room, she had already read my file so we didn't need to start at the beginning so to speak.

An EKG in urgent care led me to a cardiologist many years ago, and over the years I have received a stress echo, worn a holter monitor and modified lots of behaviors to improve my health and well being. Dr. Rohra also diagnosed my hypothyroidism and anemia, all factors that connect back to my irregular heartbeat. It may not all be great news, but I'm happy to be working with a doctor who helps it all make more sense for me. The staff are always very courteous and professional as well, answering quick questions on the phone and accomodating me if any appointment needs changing. Thanks for the cardio care Dr. Rohra and staff!

The Bay area medical group oversaw my cardiac care and concerns. The test resulted in nothing, thank god. I was released with no follow up. Now at the end of July, Dr. Chokshi called me at home to advise, that I needed to come into the office for an urgent visit, indicating that my Pacemaker reading from the beginning of June was concerning and I was at risk of a STROKE.. Meanwhile this was not mentioned at the hospital. I see another Doctor the next day, to determine the problem and she advises there is no concerns regarding my pacemaker reading. WTH!! they almost gave me cardiac arrest. it seems they are not looking at the entire patient history to determine a concern. Needless to say I am looking for another cardiology group.

It is next to impossible to get someone on the phone to schedule an appointment. Once at the office, the nurses and admin staff are brusque and dismissive of the patients. There is an office culture of treating patients as so many burdensome problems that should be brushed aside. There is never an attempt to engage with patients sympathetically, humorously or even courteously. The staff is marginally competent at their duties. Examples of misfires include a failure to record on my chart my weight and, a different time, my blood pressure. HIPAA privacy concerns are poorly handled: I was asked to sign a statement saying I had been provided and had reviewed the HIPAA statement but they never showed me a copy. This breach of the law is, according to one person I spoke with, the norm at CCMG. In sum, this is a very poorly administered group. My strong sense is that the office manager needs to be replaced but I also wonder about the failure of the physicians to supervise. There may be good doctors in this group, but I have grown weary of the consistently disrespectful and marginally competent staff. Time to move on.

This place is a one stop shop for all the tests for your heart. I had the ultra-sound test, the stress treadmill test and exam by my cardiovascular doctor here. Dr. Woodworth is very patient to explain to me what had happened to my heart. He had examined me for 18 years. He answered all my questions regarding the surgery and very encouraging for me to go thru the surgery. He referred me to Dr. Feldman for the angiogram. Dr. Feldman is the most experienced cardiovascular surgeon and he explained all the result to me after the surgery. My first question to Dr. Feldman after the angiogram was that did you really did the test on me? Yes, I didn't feel it (was sleeping the whole time), and I didn't remember anything at all. The two ladies at the front counter was very helpful and pleasant during the check in. Monique and Eliza. They provide me paperwork ahead of time, to make sure it was very easy during the check-in. Their sweet smile make all the patients' heart feels delighted. One of their technicians/nurses, Margaret Chojczak, did the ultra-sound and stress test on me is very very very (times n) knowledgeable and helpful. She came out the door greeting patients with warm welcome like a long time friend. She makes sure I went thru the tests comfortably. She would stop everything she was doing to answer my question if I have any during the test. She made my cardio-test went thru like a breeze. (even though the diagnosis was a little un-expected, but well, better to find out the disease than not knowing about it.) She herself is a six stars. I encourage this clinic for all the cardio examination because of their professional and wonderful staffs. They have my most confidence and my most faithful place from the bottom of my heart!.

He was so thorough in explaining my calcium score test (even though it was a zero, he took the time to teach me what is looked for and the fact that only calcium, not soft tissue plaque shows up on this test). He shared images that no other doc in 4 yrs since took the time to explain. He went into great detail about how to monitor and optimize my heart health. I was so impressed by his down to earth and approachable personality, and even more so by his extensive and up to date knowledge; things have changed in cardiology, and he's young, and not stuck in old ways as other cardiologists can be. I would 150% recommend him to anyone, whether looking for a baseline on your heart health, or struggling with serious heart issues, he is a gem and such an asset to John Muir!

Dr. Chen saw him promptly and went out of his way to recruit a skilled interventional cardiologist, Dr. Lim, who would go on to successfully stent and save my dad's life, rather than make him wait until the end of the day to see someone else who might not have performed any intervention on him. Dr. Chen also diagnosed my dad's new mitral valve regurgitation murmur caused by his MI and ordered additional echo images to assess this. We can't thank Dr. Chen enough for his excellent care! Don't let his youth and low-key manner fool you; he is an excellent diagnostician and attentive physician and we were so lucky to have him.

The reason why I am giving this office one star is solely due to the administrative staff. They are extremely lacking in professionalism, empathy and all-around human decency. We have been turned away at the door twice prior to today's visit due to cancelled appointments. The first time it happened, I was annoyed but understood. I asked what phone number they used to call to inform of the cancellation. They had been calling my father, the patient. I asked that they update the phone number to my own since a stroke left my father unable to talk (or walk). The appointment was rescheduled for a date several months later (doctor's unavailability). We show up to that appointment only to be told yet again, that the appointment had been cancelled. I was livid. I had taken the morning off of work to take my dad to his appointment only to be turned away for a second time. The woman at the front desk told me that they have been calling us for "weeks" to inform of the cancellation. I asked her to verify the phone number and sure enough, they had NOT UPDATED IT at our prior cancelled appointment. I again had them update the phone number to mine. Today was our third attempt at getting a visit. When we walked in, I was promptly told by the rude, inconsiderate front desk/administrative person that they had been "calling us for weeks" to inform that our appointment was cancelled. Mind you, this is the exact same woman who ENSURED me that she had updated the number at our previous cancelled appointment. Needless to say, I lost my marbles. I was irate. Not only had they STILL not updated the file to properly reflect my phone number, here is my poor dad, in a wheelchair, unable to speak and they have the nerve to behave the way they did. Can you imagine if he didn't have someone to advocate on his behalf? He would have been been sent away all on his own, yet again. I completely understand that Doctors have conflicts, things happen. But when a person is in such a disabled state as he, couldn't they have just preemptively asked another cardiologist to fill in if they couldn't get in touch with the patient due to his inability to speak? Granted, all of the above listed points are if he didn't have someone to help him. He actually does...ME! Yet, for whatever reason, they refuse to correctly input my phone number into his chart and inform me of issues involving scheduling. I actually find this quite odd, being that I did in fact receive an automated call on Monday (two days prior to our supposed appointment) on MY CELL PHONE! So obviously, my number was in the system somewhere, just not in the correct place for them to call me to inform me of the cancellation. The staff manager, Belinda, came out when I started yelling. She took me into a room because of my emotional state. Her treatment towards us and the situation was better than that of the woman up front, but I'm still not quite sure if she grasped the severity of what her staff had put my dad and I through over the past year. Dr. Haque ended up coming from the hospital to conduct the appointment but once he got there, the incredibly heartless front desk woman came back to the room Belinda and I were speaking in and said, "UM, Dr. Haque needs to see the patient NOW so he can get back to the hospital!" What a complete witch. I'm at a loss as to what to do. I want my father to continue seeing Dr. Ludmer, and now Dr. Haque however, I don't know how to get past the outrageously offensive and disrespectful administrative staff. I caution all new and returning patients: weigh the good versus bad and determine whether the headaches, frustration and downright detestable treatment are worth your time.
