WOW! Wayne fixed all of the tiny chips and scratches that were on my Corian countertops. His hard work brought it back to life and they are now shiny and new looking. IN ADDITION, we were having our old heavy porcelain sink removed by the plumber at the same time Wayne was here to do the job and the plumber thought it would take hours to get the sink out. Wayne stepped in, made his own contraption that he carries with him in case he had to lift a sink without any help.. the plumber was very intrigued by the design and method... AND the sink was out in 15 mins! Then Wayne, using the template for the new sink, cut the Corian so that the sink would fit in. He is truly a Master at what he does and very creative!!! Would not recommend for any services related to flood/fire. We had flood damage in our home and this company was recommended. From the start their handling of our personal belongings was very poor. We had damaged property in the move out of our home and we had damaged appliances that they took possession of to clean and store. Upon notification that I had a refrigerator damaged and replacement/repair costs didn't make sense based on current sale price for new, they went silent. I had pictures showing no damage prior and all of the damage upon return. I even had other contractor testimony of their poor handling. I ended up having to purchase replacement part for dishwasher and purchased a new refrigerator, and no reimbursement from them. They have refused to respond and haven't even sent final invoice for insurance claim. read more

Absolutely worth every penny! I had Corenne countertops that were probably 30 years old and Wayne made them look absolutely brand new. The best caulking job. Also that I have ever seen. Don't even think about getting new countertops until you had him look at your old ones. He showed up on time. Arrived late both days. Caused more damage and did not accept fault. Third party had to finish off the job and do repair work. Agreed two days, he wanted four but did it on three as he wanted to leave for another job before the work was completed. I would not recommend as he spent a lot of time talking about dodgy business deals and fraud. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. read more

Sitting in the ol Lazy Boy, chillaxin and I hear, "you gonna tell me what happened?". In my best prepubescent voice i replied I didnt do it. Oof flash back. Deny deny deny. With my composure regained I follow up on the question. Into the kitchen I go, I take a stance next to the questioner whos staring at the counter. What? A chip, a chip in the edge of the granite. Ugh. Cmon, really? My DIY mind kicks in, I could sand it leaving a gouge, I could youtube it you know theres vid on repair, I could ignore it, NOPE. I YELPED it! Yup, granite repair and kinda close too. A quick email with the question, do you come south? Hoping. My concern was also, its a small job. South Florida has a lot of contractors that dont bother with small jobs. Wayne answered me in a day! By the next morning, awesome. I followed up with a picture, received a quote, and the job was scheduled. All done by email, all replies were received within a day. The day he was scheduled, HE WAS HERE, ON TIME! you chuckle, but, well, youd have to live here. Wayne, took care of business, I think it came out great. Sure dont notice it. I'm not one to write reviews good or bad because i'm usually like most folks, just too busy BUT, to not put aside some time to review Wayne from Surface Surgeon and his amazing work would be an injustice. We purchased a home in Port St Lucie that had a Corian surfaced island in the kitchen. The previous homeowner had accidentally put a large almost 3ft crack in the countertop. My wife and I had a few estimators from Lowes and some other places come in and everyone said the same thing, "That counter is shot, and you can't get that product anymore" so we were looking at a complete kitchen countertop replacement in the area of $5,000 or more... Enter Wayne from Surface Surgeon, I found his website and read how he has created and teaches some of the methods to surface repairs to industry leaders. I called Wayne figuring if this guy says no way then it's a wrap, Wayne had me send him pictures and he said "wow that sure is a big crack" but he still wanted to see it and do an estimate. Wayne showed up on time, said "yes i can fix this" and we set up a date to do the work. even after he left i thought, how can he possibly fix this? 2 weeks later Wayne arrived On Time and got to work immediatly, He is incredibly neat and an absolute perfectionist. when the job was done I was shocked, No sign anywhere that there was ever a crack. This man has a true gift, watching the process that he created to do this is fascinating. Just had Wayne from Surface Surgeon's refinish my Corian countertops and sink at my Florida condo. What a huge difference! The counters are now perfectly smooth, with all the little cut marks removed, and (bonus) they are much whiter now. The sink is like new as well. Note that I had a quote from another outfit to do the same work -- but Wayne was significantly more economical. He is a professional -- returns calls promptly and shows up at the appointed time. What a pleasure. Wayne also provided cleaning advice (denatured alcohol for backsplash, Scotchbrite Green pad and Soft Scrub with bleach for counters) that should help us keep our Corian in good shape.
