WARNING: Do not hire this company, they walk off the job and leave you in a mess. The company takes 50% deposit and after he takes the money he sends unqualified contractors or whoever is available that day to do a shitty jobs. Doesn't follow the contract and wants more money after he damages walls and floors. So much damage, i have to hire someone to fix his mess, which will cost more money. Please take this warning seriously. Not the company it use to be. read more

Everything from the kitchen was suppose to be individually cleaned and placed into a box due to the toxicity of the fire smut. However everything was just tossed (literally) into boxes. Broken glassware among other things. Some items were just placed in random spots in the garage. I've been finding them for 4 months now. Nothing was cleaned well, most items still had the powder from the fire extinguisher. Staples were left in the wall, crown molding was damaged, paint was damaged from the tape used, and the adhesive was left on wall & floors. After everything was said and done, the toxicity test still showed an elevated level. All that being said, when I contacted a claim adjuster they said they heard of fides, and he does great work, just not for fires. Which was my experience.

After numerous attempts to contact Venture, only after a certified letter was received by them did they respond. They inspected the roof and agreed to fix all of the cracked tiles (approx. 10 tiles). However they only used six, and used a different color mortar on the partial repair. We wanted to make sure the repair was finished. We had a friend a retired roofer (a 140 pound man) walk very carefully to inspect the roof, and took numerous pictures of the tiles still cracked and the messy job of the incorrect mortar. Venture refuses to come out and finish the repair, because we had retired roofer disclose the lack of progress and messiness of the partial repair. I would advise everyone to steer clear of Venture Construction of Florida, there are many reputable companies to do business with that will treat the customer fairly and with respect!
