Browder Painting Company - Our Crew is Ready to Roll when You are!

    Browder Painting Company

    (141 reviews)

We Recommend Browder…read more.... The exterior of our garage door was in bad shape after less than 8 years since the original brown paint was turning red and running down to the ground. Plus we needed to redo baseboards in the house due to lots of wear and tear. Since we've seen trucks from Browder throughout our development and reviews were very good, we got in touch. Stars: - Overall: 5 - The Start: 5 - Explanations: 5 - Scheduling: 5 - Process: 5 - Workmanship: 5 - Communication: 5 - Cleanliness: 5 - Cost: 4 - The Start: I called on a Monday and scheduled an appointment with Nick Nystrom, one of their Project Managers, for that Thursday. - Explanations: Nick assessed the situation, both inside and out, and made arrangements to send us large samples of paint (and stucco for a small amount of damage) colors by overnight mail. Nick was a very easy guy to deal with. - Scheduling: Simple. Browder is usually very busy with multiple crews (currently they've got 30-35 painters), but they had an opening the following Tuesday and Wednesday so we grabbed it. The scheduler noted "your lead painter will be Juan Camarillo. He's one of our best". - Process: Nick the Project Manager arrived at 730 AM on Tuesday with the team of Juan and Reynaldo. With booties over their shoes, they moved furniture and covered the flooring...tile with carpeting in the bedrooms...with plastic sheeting. The garage door and most of the baseboards were done the first day, Tuesday. The rest was finished Wednesday morning followed by moving things back into place and a thorough cleanup. - Workmanship: Very good. Many people stopped to admire and ask about the garage door since the problem seems to be an epidemic in our neighborhood (picture #1). The baseboards look brand new...although some sections were "overpainted" and had "granules" hanging down (picture #2). I called Nick who asked Juan to investigate. Juan trimmed them in 15 minutes. I must say Juan Camarillo (there are a few Juans at Browder) is a master with 11 years at Browder who took the same care in our house as he would in his own. His assistant, Reynaldo, was an exterior painter for 8 years and fairly new to the interior. There was a difference in skill and care. - Communication: Excellent. Nick and Juan stayed in touch to keep us up-to-date and patiently answered questions. - Cleanliness: Really good. Even during the painting process indoors, they did a fine job. - Cost: Reasonable. A bit more than $3,900. All in all it was a very good experience. Our next job will be the walls and we'll definitely ask for Juan C. if we go with Browder again. NOTE: When Juan and Reynaldo moved a dresser in the primary bedroom, one of the legs was bent. I couldn't fix it myself so I spoke to Nick who sent Joe, 1 of 2 Field Supervisors, to investigate. Between the 2 of us, we got it back in workable shape.

I hired Browder painting to wash all the mildew off our two story stucco house and repaint it…read more(three colors). Wow, they did a great job. We have lots of wood trim and they were exacting, it looks fantastic. They also came out after the painting was done for a free window washing. The workers were nice and offered me advice on paint colors (including painting samples) and gave me names of good contractors for other work that I need done. Really excellent service. Will use them again.

A couple months ago we had a water leak that resulted in a significant amount of work on our house,…read morethat then needed to be painted. Jim, and his crew, came and not only painted the patches to our walls, but we used the opportunity and asked them to paint our 90's-riffic oak cabinets, our built in bookshelf, and even our unpatched walls. All the guys were friendly and prompt. They were considerate and made sure to protect our flooring and belongings well. They were great about tolerating my curious kiddos and loud homeschooling. Most importantly, they did a great job! Our walls look beautiful and our kitchen looks like a completely different room. It's so much brighter and a much nicer place to be. If you need paint work, don't hesitate to call!

He always kept me informed, showed up on time and cleaned up afterwards. From thorough prep to finishing touches, I'm thrilled with the work. I had stock 10 year old light brown cabinets and Jim patiently helped me choose a lighter color adapting it when I thought it was too dark. All the cabinet doors and drawers were removed to be sanded, primed and painted with two coats at his workshop. Everything was labeled so the pieces fit in their original place after painting. Edges were carefully painted on site with no lingering odor. I was given a gallon of paint to keep on hand for the future. I smile every time I walk into the kitchen and even enjoy cooking more now.

The paint was thinned very much. You could see the overspray on the trim thru the wall paint and on the corners you could see the metal molding on every corner. Our contract was for spray and then backrolled. We don't think they ever rolled. Then the over the top part was when they were told they painted the closets the wrong color one of their workers Tagged our closet in black permeant marker with the words in Spanish "Bebe es Puto" which showed thru when the repainted the walls. After Corrie (the owner) was told about this and how upset we were he never offered an apology or even make contact with us at all. We were told thru our project manager "oh that wasn't meant for you". If it wasn't meant for me it shouldn't have been on my walls. It should have never been on our walls. The owner when notified should have done something. It just shows what kind of an operation he runs. We had to end up getting another company SJP to come and repaint our entire house to make it look acceptable. Don't use this company!

Not only were they able to work with me over the phone but they were able to take our requests and execute them perfectly. They were professional, on time, on budget and committed to excellence. I couldn't be happier with the work they performed. Finally someone who does what they say they will do and do it well. I would recommend them to anyone looking for painters. They even recommended a drywall contractor that was equally excellent.
