Wonderful spot to stop for a quick bite inside the utc food court! They specialize in Taiwanese style fried chicken, and you can get it in a sandwich, wrap, or combo. They have an option for both chicken and shrimp as well. We love all their house made sauces, especially the yum sauce. They made everything fresh when we ordered, and it came out so fast. They're so friendly and courteous, and there's plenty of seating around the food court.

The chicken wrap was delicious forgot to take a picture before I ate the whole thing! Lolol

Well we tried the sample and OMG loved it. The owner was so friendly and personable! This place is in the food court area at the mall. We had the chicken wrap. Plenty of veggies and of course great tasting chicken!!! Will be back! thank you !

"Crispy Chicken Sandwich"

Ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich expecting a normal chicken filet based on the menu photo and description. Instead, it was basically several chicken nuggets stuffed into a bun with a lot of slaw. Nothing on the menu mentions that it's made with nuggets, so it was pretty misleading. The flavor of the chicken was also underwhelming. The breading had an off flavor to it..... did not finish sandwich. Just wanted to give others a heads-up so they know what to expect before ordering.

I was at the food court in UTC Mall and noticed this new place . They offered samples and after trying a generous piece of chicken, I decided to order lunch from here I ordered the fried chicken bento and a fried pork chop bento for my friend. Both the chicken and the pork chop came with rice, a braised hard boiled egg, sauté cabbage, preserved mustard greens, minced pork and thinly sliced pickled cucumbers. It's basically a Taiwanese meal. The egg was a little port dry but the rest of the sides were very good. It's generous portions for $13. The chicken seemed to 13 bucks be battered with tapioca starch so it's not a heavy batter. I love Taiwanese popcorn chicken so this was delicious to me. They were big chunks of chicken. The pork chop seemed to be fried similarly. They were thin pieces of juicy pork. Also a generous portion of food. If you enjoy pork chop this would be a good option. They offer other items like chicken sandwiches, shrimp and fries. They had condiments such as golden chicken aioli sauce and nashville aioli sauce which is spicy aioli, and sriracha. I felt the chicken was flavorful enough so I didn't really need them. Happy to know the food court has some Taiwanese food now.

3 Aiolis. Golden Chicken aioli is a honey sweet mustard Flavor. Nashville aioli is spicy aioli(very mild).

Ordered Shrimp & Chicken. Food isn't too bad but for $10 it's pricey for a few bites of chicken and shrimp.

Greasy, cold and made from weird chicken parts.

Chicken was super greasy, cold and made from unidentifiable chicken parts and couldn't eat it. Do not come here.

Chicken and fries (that basket was full of chicken)

This chicken was d@mn good! Light weight, well seasoned breading - nice and crispy. Fries were good too, tried the shrimp, same breading, good but the chicken was the stand out. Three tasty aioli sauces on tap and friendly, quick service. Bro working was super cool and helpful. Servings were big and fairly priced, probably should've taken the pics before eating but we were hungry

I ate all the e chicken lol

He even gave me a sample BEST chicken EVER nom nom I want more chicken!!! It was also very clean and very healthy chicke!!!! He was so Ooo nice to me FIVE star for sure

Tucked into the back corner of the food court, it's not the most noticeable of offerings, but I saw the sign and decided to give it a try. I ordered the OG 1/2 lb double smash burger. It looked delicious, and exactly what I'd expect... two smashed patties, some grilled onions and melted cheese between two buns. Done. Should have been a home run right there. I ordered at the kiosk; burger and fries. I saw the cook at the grill top make -- what turned out to be -- my burger instantly, and then place it into a bag. Then, I stood around for over 10 minutes before someone else came out, and put the fries in the bag too. Then, it was another few minutes before that guy decided to call out the order number. It's not like it was busy.. in the whole time I stood there, one other customer placed an order at the kiosk. So in the end, I enjoyed relatively fresh and hot fries (which were actually really good), but a lukewarm and somewhat dry burger. So it's hard to tell if the burger really lacked flavor, or if it had just dried out from sitting around for 15 minutes before being eaten. All-in-all, I think the potential was there for me to probably give it another try at some point. But, definitely not the experience I was hoping for.

Then came the DTLA location pre-covid and my excitement that I was only a few hours away from a bowl of goodness. I've been to the UTC location at least 20 times since it opened and am so glad it's in my backyard. I've never gotten anything other than the regular kake udon with scallions and tempura flakes and a piece of shrimp tempura and sweet potato on the side. My husband is also a creature of habit and has never gotten anything other than the curry with a seasoned egg, adding a big fried chicken cutlet, fried cheese, and sweet potato on the side. Their self service station to pour your own tempura dipping sauce and adding a touch of ginger is a hit along with their soup spoons, chopsticks, katsu packets, and water station. It's cafeteria style so grab your tray, noodles, pick out your fried tempura goodness, eat, and hand the tray to the employee at the drop off station when done. It's delicious, affordable, and moves quickly. My only request is to add spam musubi to the UTC location so I can pretend I'm in Waikiki.

The dashi broth with sweet, savory beef is simple but comforting. * Bolognese udon: I tried this recently and was pleasantly surprised! You still the meaty and rich flavors of a Bolognese, just wrapped around thick udon. Fun to try if you want a sauce-forward dish. And I almost always grab some tempura on the way down the line. The shrimp and dark meat chicken are my favorites. Overall, nothing fancy, just solid udon served fast and efficiently. There's a reason I keep coming back here when I'm shopping at UTC.
