I do consider myself a big-time thrill seeker when it comes to extreme money saving shopping trips and when I can (examples: coupon shopping, loyalty points, store reset sales, price matching, scanning and finding those secret markdowns making items pennies on the dollar & major money saving items that are almost free). BUT there are so many times I am unable to get out & catch those sales and items so I appreciate having somewhere to go that I can get some items or cool finds below the normal retail price that you would have to pay at full price and those items coming from those same stores I would shop at normally, but found here. And some of the merchandise is extremely worth it. Bring as (I - myself) do those extreme shopping and money saving, studying in all those other stores quite often, and I know what items are a great buy and not so much. ***[Yes, they have food items. It's going to be normal that you will see expired dates but that does not mean that those items are no good, and necessarily not worth eating, but I guess that part is a personal preference to each customer and what they may or may not want to buy]. Just remember, you're getting a huge discount on those items, so don't be weird about it if you don't notice or know.*** Secondly, I love some Hunt's Brother's pizza! And they have it there! It's another central location that is easy to get to if you need a quick dinner that night or a bite to eat. I have already ordered some from there, and it's yummy Hunt's Brother's recipes for sure. They are also not at all on my 'extra cheese' requests that I must have every time!! Thirdly, I want to mention this last experience - only to give the owners some feedback and pointers. This mention and segment does not affect the rating nor my overall experience in any way, and definitely not the rating I'm giving them because every experience has been great for us thus far. This instance that happened isn't really that big of a deal to me personally, to be honest. (When it comes to large purchase items that are being sold for closeout, I would have an employee take a few extra minutes to over look those specific products and what it should come with, if anything to ensure all parts are there for the customer) Large as in $50 & up items. We know not all things are expected to be perfect at a store with closeout. With that being said, I am so thankful they do offer refunds / returns within a certain time frame if that does happen on big ticket items, which it did to me. (Which again it's not that big of a deal, I just wanted to mention it being as I was an assistant manager in the retail business for years and I know how those 'hard to make happy customers' can be, and I want to give the owner any & all feedback that I can that may help them be even more successful!)

Well I got home and read the ingredient list and it says there is fish (anchovy) in it! I called the store and spoke with Jacqueline who asked me what I wanted. A refund or to speak with a manager? It's good to find a place that has some healthy choices. There are a few good employees and a few…read moreof the other sort. We have to drive an hour from where we live so it's disappointing when an item we want is not in stock or isn't on the shelf but it is in back but hasn't been put on the shelf yet. The biggest frustration comes at self checkout. A couple employees act like drill sergeants suspecting each shopper is going to steal something. On top of that their shopping bags are the cheapest and worst anywhere. Today before leaving self checkout the bag ripped at the bottom and my purchases fell out. The smarty pants employee suggests "you need to double bag". My thoughts were Fresh Thyme needs to buy better bags. I then told the employee that we broke a $15 bottle of wine from Fresh Thyme when their paper bag gave way in my garage. My garage smelled good but shattered glass was everywhere. The unsympathetic employee again snipped, "you need to double bag" to which I again suggested Fresh Thyme buy better bags.

I'm sick and tired of being HARASSED EVERY SINGLE TIME I ENTER A WALMART these days. These rude people don't even introduce themselves or who they work for; they just rudely blurt out WHO DO YOU HAVE FOR INTERNET!? Well, that is none of their business. Also, when I say "I'm not interested." That should be the end of the interaction. But these jerks just keep going on and on with their rude attitude and personal questions. Walmart must get paid a lot to allow these jerks in their stores. I know several people who have quit shopping at Walmart due to these rude & predatory sales people... and I'm about ready to join them. Also, I purposely avoided the two Spectrum sales people.... I was three aisles over, looking at laser printers... and one of them came over their to harass me.
