Horrible! Unprofessional. Someone answered the phone as if it were her home. I called to check on an application, and then she told me how many applications she already has. If you have so many, why continue to advertise? That's sounds bizarre and untrue. While in search of places to oversee my family, this place just blew it. I question the validation of any good reviews here. When you don't know how to talk to people, it is a red flag. Callers from the outside should be spoken to with professionalism. I wanted to hire a caregiver to help my mother take care of my father (who has Alzheimers). We first met Patty from Surety Home Care back in 2019 but my mom was not ready to have help. Patty stayed in touch, was never pushy and always kind. In January of 2020, my father's condition worsened and my mom agreed to let us hire help. For the past 6 months, we have been very happy with Surety Home Care and the caregivers that come to my parents' house. Patty is easy to communicate with via phone/text/email. The caregivers write a daily report which I can view online to know how everything is going. Although my mom was hesitant for a long time to accept help, she now says she cannot survive without Surety caregivers. During this Covid19 time period, Surety has ensured that their staff and the families they work for are taken care of. Despite being the most vulnerable people in this scary pandemic, I have never felt that my parents safety or health was at risk. We could not have asked for a team with more emotional intelligence than the one they developed for us. My mother was 91, living with me, and going through major ups and downs. The extraordinary young women who became our aids (we had a split shift and P & J were very accommodating about finding the several people it took to cover our odd hours) talked to my mom like the real and smart woman she was -- never talking down to her or acting like she was not present and empowered. They looked for things and foods she liked. I loved that the focus was always on my mom, but each of them reminded me to take care of myself, too, and tried to relieve the burden any way they could.
