Called Precision Fabrication and spoke to Aaron regarding a stripped O2 sensor bung on my exhaust…read moremanifold that I needed to have replaced. Aaron was very professional, polite and easy to talk to. He proposed a couple different options to replace the bung, 1) a cheap & easy way or 2) a more expensive & harder way. I went with option 2 because although more expensive it was still reasonably priced. Dropped off the exhaust manifold on Tuesday morning, he said it would be ready for pick up on Wednesday morning. Tuesday afternoon I receive a text from Aaron saying that he was able to re-tap the damaged threads on the original bung and the exhaust was ready for pick up. He charged me a fraction of the price we discussed. He could have made a nice "chuck of change" if he replaced the bung but instead he rethreaded it and saved me a lot of money. Who does that in the day & age of looking out for "number one"? Someone with integrity, that's who. It was a pleasure doing business with Aaron. I will be recommending his company, Precision Fabrication, to all my friends and family that need help with metal fabrications/repairs. He has definitely earned my trust.

Consulted him with what my issue was and told him what I wanted done and he tore the head down and was able to tell me what he found and gave me a very fair price so I approved it and got my cylinder head back looking brand new. He was also very helpful for talking with me trying to figure out the noise I was hearing from my motor before I took it apart. Thats when I could tell he had years of experience under his belt. In the end the refresh to my head and motor was all it needed and I'm very grateful for Randy's work and knowledge.

I had overtightened a reverse threaded impeller bolt that was attached to a pool motor. The head…read moreof the bolt had started to round so I couldn't unscrew it. I brought the motor to Rk Industries and asked if he could loosen the bolt. Fortunately for me the bolt also had a flat head screw driver head as well. He worked on the bolt a little bit with an impact driver and was able to loose the bolt enough so that the impeller would come off. Like the earlier commentor, this business is hard to find as it is located amongst several other commercial businesses. The cost of the service was very reasonable and if he wasn't able to get the impeller off, I was looking at purchasing a new impeller and a new backing plate to attach to the new motor.

Although i have been going to this shop for machine work for quite some time and i've known the…read morepeople there for years and years, since i am becoming a more serious yelper i figured that i need to give this place it's due. Mark, Bryan and the team at Snyder's all do excellent work and as far as i'm concerned they are my go-to place in hawaii whenever i need something done. Of course because there is no track, the business i give to them nowadays is very minimal if any, and i apologize for that, however they were the place where everyone used to (and still do) take their race parts to get work done, I own several other motors and had several other cars I owned that just so happened to come with motors that were built by them, so needless to say, probably three quarters of the hotrod cars that i've ever owned, had Snyder's Machine Works motors in them. If you need performance work, rebuild a head, or even a stock motor, this is the place to go. Yes, I see people saying their prices are a little high, however to me, quality machine work is one of those things where you pay for it one time, because you can get away with cheap, but then you going are going to eat it on the backend when the motor has to come back out of the car. Mark, Bryan, are the best guys to talk to down there, and again, if you need to get quality machine work, this is the place to go!
