From the initial consultation, through to the bookings of the surgeries (both hands done at different times), it was smooth sailing. He explained the procedure and the risks fully. On surgery date, from reception who did intake, to the anaesthesiologist who administered the local, then Dr. Huq who did the surgery (slightly more than 2 minutes), to the resident who was there learning then sutured the incision, to the associate who bandaged my hand, I could not have had a more positive experience. I was expecting pain the first night, but relative to the pain of living with carpal tunnel that interferes with sleep, for the first time in years I slept soundly. Dr Huq followed up a few days post op to ensure that things were going well. I could not have asked for better care or a better result. Kudos.

What I have since learned is that their advertised price is for one treatment while the other place is the same price for a series of treatments, making Bouvardia many times more expensive. I am not sure how they compare for other types of treatments. The staff do seem friendly but it also feels like they are trying to do a hard sell and get as much money out of you as they can. I also ended up on their email list without permission (I had emailed them to ask a question once). The treatments were fine, but I would much rather save a ton of money and go elsewhere. I doubt I will be back. Update: This seems to be another of those small businesses that abuse personal contact information. Despite never consenting to be on their mailing list in the first place, and requesting at least once a couple years ago for them to delete my email address and remove me from their email list, they still sent email. So I had ingrown toe nails and it got to the point where they had to be dealt with. My wife recommended Clarke Ventresca because her grandfather had gone there before when he had foot issues, so I booked an appointment and went in for a consultation. On the day of the consultation I went in, they examined my toes and gave me options on how to proceed. They were very informative and answered any questions I had. We decided on treatment and I was booked in for a few weeks later. On the day of my treatment everything went great. They are very skilled and I had almost no pain during any part of the procedure (just a little before the freezing). It only took about an hour and then they provided me with all the supplies I would need for after care and booked a follow up before sending me on my way. I had a few follow up appointments just to make sure that everything was healing right. It all went well and I am now fully healed. This whole experience was great and I feel so much better now, and I am pain free for the first time in a long time. It is all thanks to the people at Clarke Ventresca. They are highly skilled professionals and will take the best care of you. They were always there for me both before and after the procedure and would help me in any way they could.
