I had them do some work on my E450. They did a great job, no complaints. I'm writing this review because of how kind they were at a later time however. I used to live in the area, but had moved up north. I was still registered to vote in Wellington though. Set my vacation time for it, since I travel for work. The radiator was leaking and the vehicle was having trouble starting. I hadn't driven the car or noticed until once I had gotten there. I told them it was having trouble starting. The gentleman diagnosed the problem for free. After a bit they gave me a quote for the radiator. It was a good price and I would have paid it, but they wouldn't get the part until after 4pm. Which is fine, but it was starting to snow and the canyon isn't great for a rear wheel drive. I had to turn down them fixing the radiator. But the lady there gave me the company card, and expressed that if I got caught in the snow, to call and they would help pick me up and out of the snow at least. read more

Update: after several calls and complaints to my insurance company, the Better Business Bureau, my credit card company and eventually to the police department in Price, Utah, I was refunded about 60% of my total costs including what was stolen from my vehicle. Although I called the price Police Department to file a formal complaint, I did not receive a call back but all of a sudden the tow truck company and the repair company refunded me more money. Interesting... Car overheated about 50 miles from Price, UT. Tow truck driver was very polite but definitely feel like I was overcharged. He highly recommended Supreme Complete Auto in Price, although I was only 30 miles from a different town which my insurance company was only willing to pay for me to get towed to. Tow truck driver insisted that in the other town that was closer I would not be able to get the repairs done for several days because it was a much smaller town. So he recommended the place in Price Utah which was further which meant I would have to pay more for the tow. He also told me he could not reimburse me for the tow I had already paid for on my credit card to the nearer town so I would have to pay for that tow as well as the more expensive tow to Price. Clearly, they are in cahoots. They charged me for a complete diagnostic and way overcharged me for an oil change. I was on the road and desperate so I paid without arguing. I also had extended warranty insurance which they refused to deal with and claim that there was nothing they had repaired which would fit under the requirements but that is not true because there was a part they had to replace for the engine would not have functioned. What really gets me is that I had a battery charger / jump starter in the car, brand new, and that is gone. Additionally, I had a bottle of whiskey I had purchased as a gift from Wyoming, and that is gone! Could not possibly get everything out of the car and into my travel trailer which I separated so they could work on the car, but when you leave your car at a repair shop you don't expect things to go missing. Also, a bottle of laundry detergent? I'm certain I will discover more things missing over the next day or two. I don't know where else to recommend in that town, but you may get good service but you'll also pay more than you should for it. And definitely take anything you wish to keep out of your vehicle! read more

I purchased a small school bus in Louisville, KY. I made it as far as 40 miles beyond Green River, UT before loosing oil pressure. At the recommendation of the tow company I had it towed to a shop in Green River as they were reportedly experts on my engine. Well, the shop wouldn't work on it and neither would anyone else in Green River. Another tow to Price? Now had $1700 in towing and was really worried about what I'd find at Supreme. Let me tell you, what I found. Joe and the crew at Supreme are top notch, honest, and caring professionals. They found and repaired several problems and got the bus running. I highly recommend this shop. I worked as an auto mechanic for about 25 years and I hope I was as good to my customers as the Supreme crew was to me. Joe even called me at home to make sure the trip went well. Five stars is not enough. read more

Supreme Auto has been my go to mechanic even when living in other towns/states. I went once to another for proximity/rush reasons but the job wasn't finished due to what I believe the seasonal flooding of surrounding resort repair shops. Supreme staff carefully diagnosed, communicated symptoms and problematic percentage, then fixed the problem. Price might be a sleepy out of the way town but it's filled with talent and patient constructive conversation. read more

Front brakes needed emergency work and I was on a schedule. Called this shop ahead and asked if they could get those done, same day. Also mentioned that the front pads were down to the discs. The person on the phone couldn't provide a yes, yet also didn't ask what kind of car to see if they had the parts readily accessible (this came into play later). The individual told me to bring the vehicle in (safely) as early as possible and asked for my fullname/phone number. I did both, and so far the impression was they wanted the business--understandable as they were in a small city. I was helped by a person named "Joe." Usually, I won't give specific names in reviews, but it's relevant here (will touch on this at the end). Before Joe could get to me, though, he was helping and interacting with other customers. I observed that he showed a friendly attitude, and the "2020 Best Customer Service in America" award plaque reassured my observations. Plus, the shop had 4.9 rating on Google Maps (a reason why I chose it; didn't check Yelp). However, when it was my turn, Joe's attitude quickly turned. First, I informed that I was on a schedule and needed to be sure that they could get the brakes done then, or I'd leave. Joe replied that they would need to inspect the car, and because wasn't sure if they had parts in stock. But, back to the phone call: I wasn't asked what kind of vehicle I was driving, which would've made the availability a non-issue. At this moment, Joe seemed annoyed. Next, I gave the key and Joe went out to gather vehicle information. Then he simply moved the car to a lift--without telling me what was going on. After some odd silence, I finally looked out the window and saw that my vehicle was gone. I found out it was moved and mentioned that I needed to get things from inside. Joe lead me to my vehicle, but looking more annoyed in silence. Later on, he'd argue that it was because I'd mentioned being in a rush, so he got the vehicle propped as quickly as possible. Fair, but would be nice to be informed of what the heck was happening. After hastily grabbing my things, we returned to the office. I was asked for my information and provided. And then... nothing. No "alright, now wait in here for us at one of the chairs around the room and we'll give you an update" or "do whatever or leave as you need to; we'll take a look and tell/call you." Instead, Joe worked on the computer. Joe went to the work area to check on things. Joe replied to other customers in the office. Meanwhile, I sat at the desk. Waiting... Finally, I spoke up to clarify that I needed to walk somewhere else and asked if there was something additional needed. Joe seemed more annoyed, but told me OK to leave and that he would call. I walked away; Joe called to tell the precise problems and repair estimate; I returned and told him no work needed and I'd be on my way. For two reasons: too costly and, more importantly, bad customer service. So more hell broke loose. Joe told me that he didn't have an attitude, and that I did. That he didn't do anything wrong in not giving updates. His silence toward me was normal service. He argued my points. He asked my age and questioned my character--two subjects irrelevant and inappropriate. Somehow, the customer was blamed for the entire dreadful event. Also, I mentioned that I'd travelled across the country and dealt with many shops, and this was no where close to good service. Joe dismissed all that, and insisted I didn't know what I was talking about. This definitely is one of the strangest auto repair events I've had. Finally, one more thing, and this is why the name/actual individual was important: throughout the entire ordeal, Joe would frequently asked me to repeat myself, especially when I mentioned something he did wrong. I asked why and he indicated that he had ear problems. Fair enough, but maybe if you were hard of hearing, you'd get somebody else to manage the front office, instead of putting the onus on the customer. And, Joe didn't seem to have any hearing issues when he was happily chatting with other customers. read more

Honest, trustworthy, timely. Today my daughter took her first road trip by herself. She was excited and nervous heading out on her first road trip. So much so, She bought new tires and serviced her car prior to heading out. Driving from Salt Lake to Colorado she broke down (by herself) in Wellington Utah. She called me, her father, for what to do. After she explained what was happening I envisioned the worst possible scenario. A blown engine. I decided to call a mechanic. But who do I call in Price? I found Supreme on Yelp. They had one review, that was the only thing I had to go on. I called and talked to a kind woman first who had me talk to the mechanic Kyle. I explained to Kyle the diagnosis of my daughters car and he said he was very busy but would squeeze her car in and look at the car if I could get the car to him. He was too busy to tow the car but referred me to Joe at AJ Towing (435)637-2060. The car was quickly towed to Kyle's shop for a reasonable cost from Wellington to Price. 20 miles away. Kyle was able to diagnose a leak in a transmission hose and fixed promptly for 120$. He test drove the car to see if anything else was wrong and found the car was in good working order and sent her on her way. Additionally They asked my daughter to text them to let them know she made it ! Thank you Kyle for the wonderful and honest work you did. You were able to fix her car for a reasonable price and restored her faith that there are still honest people out there. Thank you Kyle and Supreme for taking care of my daughters car and more importantly to me getting my daughters safely back on the road so she could get to her destination before sunset. !!!!! I would not hesitate recommending Superior for your automotive repairs. read more

I had the misfortune to loose my alternator on my 1998 Toyota Tacoma in the middle of the desert on a Friday afternoon. Not only did Joe actually have the part in stock, but he stayed hours past closing to personally replace the alternator in my truck. I think he finished close to 11pm. He charged extremely fair prices, and was a true pleasure to meet. It is just so rare to find a mechanic who cares about both the quality of his work and the individual people he helps. I literally could not recommend him or the shop more highly. My only sorrow is that Joe and his shop are over 700 miles from my home city! read more

I don't think I can find the words to describe how absolutely fantastic Joe and his team were. Our car broke down on our drive from Moab to the Salt Lake airport, and we were towed to Supreme. Joe and team could not have been more professional or hospitable. As we waited they offered us one of their cars to use so that we could go grab a bite to eat. After we left, Joe called us to make sure we made it to our destination (the airport) safely. I was on my way to Denver from Salt Lake City and near Price, Utah, my SUV'S rear differential went out, though I didnt know that at the time. As an all wheel drive vehicle, I could still drive it but could possibly endanger the whole drivetrain. By a stroke of luck, I found these guys. Honest, Courteous, Very professional and Reliable. In Price for the stock car races and part of our exhaust fell apart. With no notice or appointment, they took in the exhaust pipe, manufactured a new flange and fabricated the broken, missing section. A deer collided with the left side of my 2020 Subaru Forest about 20 miles north of Price, UT on September 12th. I was concerned that mechanical damage may have been done that would prevent me from driving the vehicle 600 miles to my home, so I looked on line for a mechanic. It was late Sunday morning when I called Supreme Auto's "after hours" phone number and left a voicemail. Joe called back a few minutes later and said he could meet me at his shop in a half hour. Joe did a thorough inspection of the damage, used a crow bar to pry out some bent sections of the fender so the driver's side door could be opened all the way, inspected the underside of the vehicle and said there was no mechanical damage and it was safe for the drive home. Thank you so much Joe, for taking care of this on a Sunday!! Your expertise, professionalism and willingness to open your shop for me on your day off are commendable, to say the least!! And, the charge was very reasonable. If I lived in the area, Supreme Auto would be my go to place for any work on my vehicle. read more
