The Hospital and staff are fantastic…read more The main issue is the parking. There is next to no handicap parking, (far less than a hospital should have, at any rate) and the Valet is often not there, like to take your car, or to bring it back. I've noticed on super busy days they only have one valet at the stand in front of the Building Q. So cars and people waiting to retrieve their cars are stacked up waiting on one poor valet to hustle around getting everyones cars taken care of. The valet service needs to HIRE more people and PAY them better so they stay with the company. This screams bad management. No one should be the only person at a valet stand. Especially not at a busy hospital when people have appointments to get to on time, and there is next to no ADA parking.

No nurse EVER came in to check up on us or say "the doctor is running late...." Perhaps if there was so communication, I wouldn't write such a horrible review, but this was just awful! After the doctor spent 2 minutes looks at my son's broken wrist, he said "looks like he healed fine...." Which his wrist was STILL SWOLLEN! We went to Stanford and his PCP there was PISSED! She said he needed to wear his wrist brace at LEAST 6-8 more weeks as she ordered 2 X rays and OT! This doctor dismissed my son since he's an older teenager and said he'd be fine..... ughhhh

I am very glad to have met him at NLRC in-patient as well as to have become a client of his at both IOP and as my personal therapist. Finding competent mental health in the Bay area is a great challenge. When I met Chris however, it quickly became obvious that his resoundingly positive attitude coupled with his pragmatic analytical techniques were the right combination of both softening and challenging my hard-ass attitude and that this would set the stage for prescribing a program of cognitive behavioral therapy forward that his helping guide may self actualization.

He's gifted in decerning areas of struggle; he asked clever clarifying questions to get to the root of my problematic areas, then we designed an outline for recovery. Chris has a very drawing personality to him. He's always positive, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping people overcome their difficulties to make them stronger. As we continue working together over the years, Chris has a clear outline and systematic process I needed to follow to recondition my thinking, adopt new coping skills, and understand the areas I need to focus on improving. Rather it is positive self-talk, improving my relationships, or even establishing better habits and routines. Nothing has been overlooked. He provided a goal-oriented program that has saved my life. Over the years, I slowly began to think differently about my life and myself. I've learned healthy thinking, behaviors, and habits that set me up for success and enable me to love myself and others genuinely. I don't think about harming myself; I no longer lash out in anger or participate in destructive vices or addictions. During times of difficulty or significant stress, Chris has always made himself available, and he's been instrumental in talking me off a cliff from time to time. I think the most significant attribute Chris has is that he's trustworthy. I truly trust Chris wants the best for me, that he's dedicated to his work and honestly puts his best effort into everything he does for others. For him, this isn't a job; it's a calling. Chris - I can't thank you enough for showing me the way to a happy, healthy, fulfilled life. I'm genuinely grateful for your guidance and your support.

As I needed to see an orthopedic doctor to assess what kind of treatment I needed, iMotion had zoom sessions to alleviate aches and pains offered by the owner Pratik, very COOL! Once seen by an orthopedic specialist, I preferred the Aqua Center location in San Jose at the Timpany Center; crutches were needed in order for me to get around. There's absolutely no other way to begin healing my knee on land. Water was the WAY to go in my situation. I was assessed by Barkha, the senior physical therapist; she has a MAGIC touch on releasing knots. Her therapy sessions were what got me back on my feet (literally) again! Her assistant Eric was assisted in making sure I had the proper alignment in the pool, and gym (once I graduated to the gym). I've had physical therapy sessions in the past at a big name clinic, as well as a smaller closer clinic near my home. NONE of those sessions resulted in the same recovery as what iMotion provided. Over the course of several months, I visited all three locations (San Jose, Los Gatos & Fremont) for my recovery. Aqua Therapy is only offered at the Timpany Center in San Jose. All three locations have a gym for the land therapy. Thank you iMotion!

There was no one at the desk at first, but one of the acupuncturists soon came out and checked me in. She showed me where the restrooms were, asked me to take a seat and said my acupuncturist would soon be with me. My acupuncturist asked me some health questions in the private room where I was to have my treatment. She listened and didn't dismiss anything I said like my regular doctor often does. Then she explained where she would be inserting the needles and why. She also went into detail about what I could expect during the session, which I appreciated. Most of the needle insertions were painless, but a few hurt a bit. The pain went away quickly. The acupuncturist turned out the lights and left the room as I laid on my back on the table with the needles in me. I couldn't feel them as long as I didn't move. I'm not sure how long I laid there, but it was very warm and relaxing with gentle music playing. I almost fell asleep. I had a button I could press if I needed help and the acupuncturist checked on me a couple times. She removed the needles and then had me rollover on to my stomach for cupping on my upper back to help with pain relief in my neck and shoulders. After the session my migraine was gone and my neck and shoulder pain had decreased. I made several more appointments and look forward to them.
