Guiding Eyes is an agency my friends and I have supported for years. Being in the Human Services…read morefield we had to know the agencies that provided the services needed for individuals with special needs. We found this nonprofit organization to be highly respected and motivated to assist those less fortunate. I'm speaking from my experience and can't speak to their operations currently. I'm glad to see this Xmas card I received supports a very badly needed service. The dogs are absolutely amazing!

Well it has taken me a couple of years to write a review. I received a Guiding Eye Lab…read more First I was told I will be the third person to receive the Lab. I asked why I was told they could not tell me. I had the Guide Dog for three weeks two weeks training and a week alone. The Guide Dog Dragged me to chase a cat.I had to lay there for awhile this was traumatizing and put me into a depression. Also they really need compassionate people not a trainer barking at you in 100 degree weather. Especially being that I worked part time and then had to walk in 100 degree weather with the Guide Dog and trainer. I had days off but never seen yhe trainer this days. I would n9t recommend this company and no one even checked on me that's what's really crazy. I was dragged threw a path & dirt never heard fe9m them when the Guide Dog was returned by my son.Till this day I am scared to get another one. The6 knew this Dog did not want to be a Guide Dog I was the third person so I feel they put me in danger. Thank you

The Bedford Playhouse - The Main theater with Premium Recliner seating, Dolby ATMOS and 70 MM capabilities

Now I don't know if this is because of the film or all of theaters in there are like this, but my…read morefilm was in a theater that was the same size as some people's entertainment rooms, I'm sure! I'm not complaining! Loved the large extended leather chairs, great sound and truly what seemed like a private showing -- I mean we're talking 'small,' as in 'tiny!' Pretty cool! The only negative was the fact people (adults) sat on the one side and let their kids go ape $#*! on the other side! Remember, this is a SMALL venue. It reminded me of what I hate about a similar cinema in Pleasantville -- a lot of privileged people on their phones, feet on the chairs, talking... but I digress! Anyway, I can't wait to go back and see something else, and hopefully in the same theater. If I see kids again, I'm getting my money back! I really want to know if the other theaters are the same size or larger. Assuming larger! Oh, parking was brutal -- almost non-existent!

I love the Bedford Playhouse! This is my "go-to" movie theater in the Bedford area. The theater's…read morecommitment to maintaining a pristine environment shines through in many details, from the lobby to the auditoriums that shine like new between shows. The Dolby Atmos sound system in the downstairs theater delivers crystal-clear, immersive audio that elevates the movie-going experience to a whole new level. The reclining, reserved seats are roomy/comfy. The box office and concessions team are super efficient and friendly, making the whole process seamless and enjoyable. The 2 smaller auditoriums upstairs are a little more hit or miss, but due to the care of the staff and the presentation of the feature are still better than the other theater in the area. One thing to note is that the Bedford Playhouse is normally closed on Mondays, and showtimes can be limited, so be sure to plan ahead, you may want to catch that new release but if you blink, you may miss it as films rotate in and out usually within 2 weeks of opening. Whether you're a film buff or just looking for a unique entertainment experience, this theater is a must-visit.
