I hope this was an isolated case. I searched this company website for a specific product. A short search provided the result I was looking for. I was happy with the price and that it was available. I purchased/paid for the product. I received notification via email the order was accepted and being processed. A week later I was notified the product was placed on back order. It has now been a few weeks and the current status is still back order. Had I known this particular product was going to be hand made in a remote location in a tiny impoverished community, I would not have purchased through this company. Absolutely terrible service. I ordered a few items from this website in the past and I was satisfied. But this time I had the worst experience ever. I ordered a few items 8 business days ago. Before I made my purchase I recognized that it would take 2 to 5 business days to reach my home. I had to call the company 8 business days later just for them to tell me that they did not have the product I ordered. They did not think to call or email me to let me know that my purchase was made and that I would not be receiving anything. I was waiting for something to come and they knew it would never arrive. There was a delay in order. I called, they found a workaround, and we found a solution. Then, they forgot to ship. So, I called a few days later, and talked again. Then it was shipped. All in all, took about 3 weeks. I still appreciated them working hard and try making things right. These things happen, even though mistakes were made, they tried hard. All the poor ratings are either for the small Milwaukee store or people who had issues with shipments from the website. I have never visited the Milwaukee location nor have I ordered from their website, however... The trick is to go the the OAK CREEK / FRANKLIN, Wisconsin location. It is a MASSIVE store (4x the size of any GNC I've been to) within the actual warehouse that ships out the orders across the country. How many times have you been to a local retailer and asked if they had more of the item you want in back. Only to find that everything they had was on the shelves... This place is a rare place in that, if it is not on the shelves, they actually DO have it in back, because it's the freaking warehouse that supplies the store. The only way it could get any better is if they actually made everything in back. Everything I looked at was right around 3-5 dollars cheaper than what I found on-line (plus there is no shipping and you don't have to wait 2-3 business days). The in-store prices are CHEAPER than www.bodybuilding.com (where I used to buy all my stuff for years). The staff is helpful and if you can't find it on the floor, they can find it in the computer and have someone bring it out from the warehouse. They also offer a return policy if you don't like the product or it's not working for you. As long as 3/4 of the product remains, you can return it. Oooooh man. Where to begin with this place. I ordered some stuff on December 30, They say on their website that they ship within 24-48 hours. By the January 7 my stuff had not shipped so I reached out via the "help desk" feature on their website. They say they respond to most issues within 24 hours. Two days latter they got back to me. Notice a theme? They said that one of my products was back ordered and they would ship everything when the back ordered product arrived. I emailed them back and told them to ship me the product that was available and to give me a refund for the back ordered product. I didn't hear back from them for two days. In that time span I tried reaching out to the company via phone and twitter with no success. Once I did hear back it was either an generic "boiler plate" email or computer generated one. It said that it was possible that my order shipped and they didn't know (how is that possible?!) and that they would have more info on my order soon. Frustrated with lack of progress, I reached out to my bank to dispute the charge. Thankfully, my bank assured me that unless they had proof a package being delivered that I would get my money back. This morning I checked my order on their website. It was labeled "Flagged" as in they were working on my refund. Around 5 pm when I checked my order again the flag was removed. Whatever gimmick or freebie these people are offering, don't waste your time. Go somewhere else, even if its a few bucks more. read more

Wow, these guys are terrible. I tried to place a more than $500 order for a large amount of protein bars (big household, and I like to order in bulk so I don't have to think about it often), and they just outright cancelled my order because "it might be fraud". They didn't even try to do anything sensible like call me to verify, they just cancelled it. I posted about this on their Facebook page and mentioned that they were losing business because of this policies. Rather than do something smart, like say "I'm so sorry, what's your order number we'll get it resubmitted for you", they just deleted my comment and blocked me from posting on their page. Brilliant move there guys, instead of saving the business you just inspired me to go write negative reviews. Epic fail at customer service on all counts. What do you say about someone who just doesn't want your money? Use AllStarHealth (ASH) instead of Supplement Warehouse (SW)! SW shipping is way overpriced and their customer service has to be one of the worst. I used them for a number of years and got sick of the poor customer service when I had to pick up the phone and call them. I have been using ASH for a little over a year now, have never had to call them with a problem/issue plus they charge cheap flat-rate shipping. Plus their prices are just as competitive as SW and in many instances cheaper. Just give it a try and you won't go back to SW. Hey, Im just letting you know that I had gone into the west allis store, the employee that was working was on his phone the whole time. Did not help me at all, and when I went to buy pre workout, the price was wrong, and he would not fix the price. I was very disappointed. False advertising and price adjusting is very illegal. He did it to 3 products and all of the prices were 20+ dollars more than marked. Having worked in the supplement industry, taking all the prices off and/ or fixing the price tag is better than lying about the price or over charging without fixing it. He claimed I was the 5th person to tell him that today, and still NO changes whatsoever. This needs to be fixed or I may take this to court. Ive had enough of this. read more
