Hi, my Name is Ryan James & I need to let you "All" know what a great experience I had at this…read morelocation in automotive. It was busy; Black Friday and my car was towed there over the day before; "that's how I spent my Thanks Giving". I was freaking out thinking I'd have to pay a lot of money for some other repair when all alone it was the battery. I needed tiers and that was a plus was it is the best time to purchase tiers. I got my dad to get work done as well just and oil change and a fuel injector cleaner job but he said he felt a difference right away. Matt the automotive manager came out personally as he was training someone on all kinds of procedures, did a battery acid leak test, and it showed up that it was leaking battery acid. He sprayed it on and it worked. We changed the battery and I'm good for now. That saved me a second tow $$$ time and not knowing what to do so thank you.

We went to pay and we found out that they don't take any credit cards except Discover and they take cash or check or debit card. I had to stop in and ask for patty to right a wrong and introduce myself because I gave another…read morestore credit for there very tasty/fresh breakfast sausage. The store it self is in on a side street with plenty of parking and at first opening on a Saturday is pretty easy to navagate because the crowds have not formed yet. The store itself has a small town feel to it, no big chain store feel and more like a neighborhood place. I was surprised to see the salad/pasta bar set up just after 8am, not a huge one but all the basics. Patty invited me to stop by the store if I was ever in the neighborhood, I was was going to Iowa so I was passing Dixon Il and I'm getting off the Hwy because I brought a cooler with me because no way I'm a few miles away and not getting this sausage that I like so much. Flynnies Diner, a local spot uses Olivers for all their meat and I found it in the breakfast plate that I had which i immediately liked. Since I didn't know what the what I was looking for in the store the meat guy helped me, I explained that I wanted the sausage that Flynnies serves and he took me right to it. It was in a small but nicely thought out good looking meat case, nice red meat by the way. Since Patty was so passionate about me correcting my review and setting the record straight and having confirmed with the restaurant owner where the sausage actually came from, I gladly corrected my review so I asked if she was in today and could I speek to her. I just wanted a couple minutes to introduce my self since she took the time to reach out to me and to meet her after correcting the record, it was full circle for the whole situation. The breakfast sausage is top quality which you can tell with the first bite, it's pretty lean and very tasty. It's a very dense/hearty breakfast sausage that is seasoned perfect and like me when you first taste it you know that this is not any commercial sausage. When I had it at the diner I knew that this was a fresh local product and I was right. Patty O I apologize for the wrong information from my server at Flynnies Diner and I was happy to correct my review with your information and give you all the credit that your store deserves and it was nice meeting you and thank you for the great breakfast sausage that I left with, when ever I'm that way I'm bringing a cooler to take some with me.

The 2nd lady, seeing I was frustrated, looked at me and said "I would help you but it would probably take longer" I said I didn't see helping me could take longer than staring at me doing nothing. Boy was I wrong. I ordered a simple 12 piece chicken. No sides no frills. She still managed to screw that up. 4 drumsticks 4 wings 2 breasts and 2 thighs. When I pointed this out to her she tried to tell me that she didn't make a mistake. Her co worker even told her 3 of each. So I did lose my cool a bit and walked to the 1st woman behind the counter and tossed out a "Jesus Christ can you help her so I can get my chicken and leave?" They apologized to me and I also apologized right away to them for losing my cool. Then went to check out counter where 2 teenage girls were working and the line was 8 deep in each. By the time I got up to the counter to check out the guy in front of me didn't have his debit card and had to walk outside to his car with me to wait even longer. That wasn't their fault but they just sat there clueless and finally when I asked if there was anyone else that could help them they called somebody else to come work at checkout line. I don't know if they were understaffed or people called in sick or what, but this was just the worst. On the plus side the chicken tasted great.
