I'm not a drinking, the last time a drank, I wasn't old enough to vote, should I have said that? To late now. Anyway I was asked to bring some refreshments to my friends party and by refreshments she meant beer. So I headed over to the nearest beverage house and "Superstar" was my place. Going in I noticed the place was a decent size with a large selection. Couple of concerns caught my eye however. The place was a bit messy, I know there is snow outside so salt tracks in, but the beer is on the floor. You have to keep the floor shining, otherwise some people can be turned off by that. Lucky for me I don't drink beer so I just kept looking around. Parking isn't all that great. If someone is buying a lot and want to bring it to there car, be careful they don't ding your door on the way out. But on the positive side the staff is extremely friendly. They gave me a lot of fun information regarding beers and there business. I really would have sat there all night and chatting with them, if I didn't have another party to get too. They definitely were a talkative bunch and that's great. I would recommend anyone stop in for libations if you don't mind a little mess. It helps if your not a drinker all together. read more

Well, I started coming here as this was the closest place that has a decent craft selection. It seems to me that the selection has declined and I get grief for not properly organizing my returns. No really, "these aren't in the right boxes? That means I have to go through ALL of them." Also, be careful of expired beer. Was in here a week ago (January) and there was beer that had best by dates of the previous November and earlier. It's probably ok for the high turnaround beers, like Corona and Bud, but be wary of the craft stuff. read more

Always has a solid bottle selection and usually 1 or 2 great selections on tap. There's specials that run some time which you typically don't see at other beer distributors and tastings as well. I used to come here frequently before my local distributor came under new ownership and started stocking phenomenal beer 100% of the time (Hicksville Beer & Soda). Either way, this is still a great location to procure some delicious beer. read more

All beer and other bottled malt beverages are always expired!!! I've been going to this beer store for years because it's the closest place near where I live. However.........there hasn't been one single time that i've gone here where the beer ISN'T expired. read more
