After another week I finally texted him today and he responded telling me that he can't find my address. He stated that if I drop a pin showing my location that he'll try to come by this week and for me to remember that this is the busy season. I attempted to explain to him that I was only basing my expectations off of the commitments that he had made to me, that he should have kept his word and that he should have responded to my calls. After calling him out on his ineptness he told me that he didn't think that they would be the best fit for my needs and said that I was rude. He must not think that keeping your word or treating customers with respect by returning their calls is considered rude by most. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

My Kerrville realtor hooked me up with Cypress Roofing and they handled the project from start to finish. Ty was my main point of contact. Ty knew I had been dealing with a messy estate process, and had been hit with the roof information suddenly, and with a limited amount of time to handle it. Ty got his team out to the house quickly for an assessment and sent me a comprehensive estimate, and several clear photos of the condition of the roof. It was as if I was there with him, but I didn't have to travel. Ty was incredibly patient with me while I worked through challenges with the homeowners insurance company, and with my billing needs, as the initial check I sent never arrived; I wasn't able to send a wire or electronic payment and was relying on the mail system to get the check to him. Ty started the job anyway while I sent an overnight payment- Ty kept me informed every step of the way and let me know when payment was received, and how the project was progressing. He and his office team facilitated getting all necessary documents/invoices/receipts to my realtor, to make things easier and faster for me so we could finalize the sale. When the first check I mailed turned up in their office six weeks later, office manager Allison called me to see how I wanted her to handle it. Amazing communication, and very trustworthy and compassionate people! I'm not a roofer, so I don't know what the scope of roofing prices currently is- but I can tell you I am more than happy to have paid what I paid for the complete new roof, in order to sell the home- rather than be saddled with a home I couldn't sell or would sell at a significant loss because of the condition of the roof. Considering the quality of the work, and the quality of the customer service- I'm comfortable saying their prices are more than fair for the work they do.

BUT the real issue that turned me against them is my post oak 350 years old dropped all its leaves. I asked 3 different landscape companies and they all said you do not put weed control screening under the canopy of a post oak which is also what the arborist said when he came to try to save the tree. The arborist said they suffocated the tree then drown it by their sprinkler system and by the lack of proper grading so the water would run off or put in French drains. I contacted Anderson and they have done zero to offset the cost of my loss. I have spent over $5,000 on having the tree removed and over $3500 on changing sprinkler system and removing and adding new plants. I have asked them 3-4 times and they never once apologized or accepted any responsibility or offered a reason as to why what they did was okay.
