Our old oak tree got a lovely haircut and has never looked better. The tree trimming was very meticulous & thorough, they removed a huge truckload of small dead branches and also cleaned up branches that were laying on the roof and our fence. Our tree in the backyard also go a trimming and this will help keep leaves off of our deck. These guys were working hard in the summer heat and I so appreciate the awesome job they did. I sent out several requests for bids on yelp, and I felt that Texas Stripes was the best out of the bunch. Roberto was very responsive with scheduling, and was able to get me in much more quickly than other providers. He has a kind, polite demeanor, great communications skills so that I knew exactly what to expect. I know he took great care of my trees. I would not hesitate to call Texas Stripes again, and actually am hoping they can help me with additional landscaping work at my house. Hire these guys, you will not regret it!!

But then the plants in my raised beds died as sprinkler…read moresystem they put in was set to water incorrectly in front and back yard as well as rest of yard. BUT the real issue that turned me against them is my post oak 350 years old dropped all its leaves. I asked 3 different landscape companies and they all said you do not put weed control screening under the canopy of a post oak which is also what the arborist said when he came to try to save the tree. The arborist said they suffocated the tree then drown it by their sprinkler system and by the lack of proper grading so the water would run off or put in French drains. I contacted Anderson and they have done zero to offset the cost of my loss. I have spent over $5,000 on having the tree removed and over $3500 on changing sprinkler system and removing and adding new plants. I have asked them 3-4 times and they never once apologized or accepted any responsibility or offered a reason as to why what they did was okay.

Cypress Roofing was one of 2 companies I called to go out there, look at it, and give a price to fix. The other company called first, and the slick talking young man said I had more problems which would cost $1000 to fix!! This was stuff the inspector certainly would have pointed out. I told him I would think about it. Then this morning, Ty with Cypress got back with me, saying that he saw only 2 loose shingles, and he went ahead and glued them down. Problem solved. I told him what the other guy said, and he called b******t!! I told him I was suspicious of the other guy because he seemed like too much of a slick talker. Ty told me that Cypress was not a slick talking company. And I would heartily agree in my case. I'd call then again!!

I live on the East Coast and was dealing with trying to sell my late mother's home. During the…read moreselling process, we found out the home needed a new roof. My Kerrville realtor hooked me up with Cypress Roofing and they handled the project from start to finish. Ty was my main point of contact. Ty knew I had been dealing with a messy estate process, and had been hit with the roof information suddenly, and with a limited amount of time to handle it. Ty got his team out to the house quickly for an assessment and sent me a comprehensive estimate, and several clear photos of the condition of the roof. It was as if I was there with him, but I didn't have to travel. Ty was incredibly patient with me while I worked through challenges with the homeowners insurance company, and with my billing needs, as the initial check I sent never arrived; I wasn't able to send a wire or electronic payment and was relying on the mail system to get the check to him. Ty started the job anyway while I sent an overnight payment- Ty kept me informed every step of the way and let me know when payment was received, and how the project was progressing. He and his office team facilitated getting all necessary documents/invoices/receipts to my realtor, to make things easier and faster for me so we could finalize the sale. When the first check I mailed turned up in their office six weeks later, office manager Allison called me to see how I wanted her to handle it. Amazing communication, and very trustworthy and compassionate people! I'm not a roofer, so I don't know what the scope of roofing prices currently is- but I can tell you I am more than happy to have paid what I paid for the complete new roof, in order to sell the home- rather than be saddled with a home I couldn't sell or would sell at a significant loss because of the condition of the roof. Considering the quality of the work, and the quality of the customer service- I'm comfortable saying their prices are more than fair for the work they do.
