We are "absentee land/homeowners" leaving in a different state now. But we got a contract to sell everything, and upon inspection, it was reported that the 1-1/2 year old roof had "a few loose shingles" that needed to be glued down. Cypress Roofing was one of 2 companies I called to go out there, look at it, and give a price to fix. The other company called first, and the slick talking young man said I had more problems which would cost $1000 to fix!! This was stuff the inspector certainly would have pointed out. I told him I would think about it. Then this morning, Ty with Cypress got back with me, saying that he saw only 2 loose shingles, and he went ahead and glued them down. Problem solved. I told him what the other guy said, and he called b******t!! I told him I was suspicious of the other guy because he seemed like too much of a slick talker. I live on the East Coast and was dealing with trying to sell my late mother's home. During the selling process, we found out the home needed a new roof. My Kerrville realtor hooked me up with Cypress Roofing and they handled the project from start to finish. Ty was my main point of contact. Ty knew I had been dealing with a messy estate process, and had been hit with the roof information suddenly, and with a limited amount of time to handle it. Ty got his team out to the house quickly for an assessment and sent me a comprehensive estimate, and several clear photos of the condition of the roof. It was as if I was there with him, but I didn't have to travel. Ty was incredibly patient with me while I worked through challenges with the homeowners insurance company, and with my billing needs, as the initial check I sent never arrived; I wasn't able to send a wire or electronic payment and was relying on the mail system to get the check to him. Ty started the job anyway while I sent an overnight payment- Ty kept me informed every step of the way and let me know when payment was received, and how the project was progressing. He and his office team facilitated getting all necessary documents/invoices/receipts to my realtor, to make things easier and faster for me so we could finalize the sale. When the first check I mailed turned up in their office six weeks later, office manager Allison called me to see how I wanted her to handle it. Amazing communication, and very trustworthy and compassionate people! I'm not a roofer, so I don't know what the scope of roofing prices currently is- but I can tell you I am more than happy to have paid what I paid for the complete new roof, in order to sell the home- rather than be saddled with a home I couldn't sell or would sell at a significant loss because of the condition of the roof. Considering the quality of the work, and the quality of the customer service- I'm comfortable saying their prices are more than fair for the work they do. read more

Cypress Roofing installed our new metal roof at the end of February 2024. Anthony the sales representative was straight forward, easy to work with and responsive. Mr Anthony (the owner's father) and the crew did a very good job on our very steep roof. The work looks nice and has been recently tested with a small rain shower. The crew was constantly cleaning up the area around the roof and running a magnet device to collect nails and other metal pieces. They were very respectful of our property. We had one minor follow up issue and they returned promptly and made the adjustment. I would not hesitate to use Cyress again. We did consider 4 other companies and are very pleased with our choice. read more

Was more interested in selling me a new roof than in advising me about the real cause of my problem, hail damage which is covered by my insurance. Mostly talked negatively about the construction of my original roof and the largest manufacturer of metal roofs on the planet. I would highly recommend Cypress roofing. They are very professional and very friendly staff, from the office staff to the contractor to the team of roofers. They were quick to respond to my request for a bid. The contractor Anthony climbed up on my roof to measure and ask about removing a non working satellite dish. I had another well known roofing company come by to give me a bid and all he wanted to see was the paperwork from my insurance company. He didn't even get on top of my roof. Cypress was in constant contact with me from the beginning of the project to the very end. The team of roofers did a great job and finished in one day. They cleansed up after themselves and did several checks for nails on the ground. When the job was done Anthony came back and climbed on the roof again to make sure the job was done right. When I mentioned that I appreciated him checking to make sure the job was done to his expectations. He said he takes all of his contracts personal. I would highly recommend. read more

We were one of many folks in Kerrville affected by the late May storms and, among other repairs, needed a roof and gutters. We were recommended Cypress Roofing by a friend of ours in construction. He called them and they promptly called us back. Albert (the Owner) and Christian came out right and surveyed the damage and stated that as soon as we know when the Damage Appraiser will get here, to call them so they can be here and go over it all with him. The Appraiser turned up on the Sunday and, even on a Sunday afternoon, Albert and Christian came right over and met with him. They made this project so much easier by assigning Steven Toler as our "project manager" and Steven has been extremely helpful, responsive and professional throughout the project. Our roof was finished late last Thursday and Steven came over Thursday evening and went over everything and also ensured that the crew had not damaged any landscaping and cleaned up properly. After all this, all we had were a couple of small items for him to remedy and replace. As promised, he came back on Friday to fix some of the items and the roof looks wonderful. They will install the gutters within the next few days and we are confident that the gutter replacement will be as good as the roof. All in all a very good experience with Cypress Roofing from ownership down (Albert), to Steven and the roofing crew. read more

Complete waste of time. I've been jerked around by Camden for 9 months. It took him 2 months and 3 trips to the house to get me an estimated which I approved in Dec 2021 it's now June 2022 and the work still hasn't been done. I ask for a date and all I get is one excuse after another. Cypress Roofing may have been a good company at one time but those days are gone. read more

Has anybody ever heard of a crew coming in and replacing an entire roof in one day? I got mine replaced yesterday and while I don't usually do endorsements, I just have to say that Cypress Roofing in Kerrville, and Albert Martinez, did exactly that. Now, I have to say my house is not very large, and they only used shingles, but it was still impressive. And they did it for an extremely affordable price. Super friendly.
