Then I asked a question about the quote and there was silence. I had made a decision to use them, as they were the lowest quote, and I contacted them to schedule the painting of my house. Again...silence. I followed up and asked if they were still in business. They responded right away that they would contact me right away to schedule. That was 4 days ago and I still have not heard anything. They have lost my business. If they can't have the professionalism to simply call me back, I don't think I want them painting my house.

They then revealed that there would be "extra charges" for almost all the work I requested, work that was included in their estimate! They wanted another $1800, almost doubling the cost of the job. I texted the owner photos of my fireplace, indicating the work needed and I never heard back from Him. Today,I was ready to take the project back on and was highly recommended to this company by google not knowing that I had contacted them in 2025. Zsolt contacted me this evening advising me that he had heard from me in the past, therefore was not interested in doing business with me. I asked him why he didn't want to do business with me because google had highly recommended him for the type of work I needed and he just said for me not to contact him anymore. To be honest, my feelings are extremely hurt that an owner of a business would respond that way without giving a reason. I let Google know that OLT does not do fireplace work and I do not respect any business that responds rudely for no reason. End of story.

Omar from B&J Painting kept popping up in my online searches, so as a fellow entrepreneur, I decided to reach out first--and that was all it took. After meeting Omar and Hector in person, I was sold. When Omar noticed one of the names on my Sherwin Williams list, he said, "He's a good painter." I asked, "Better than you?" Without missing a beat, he replied, "We're the best." Based on my 23 years of experience, I can confirm: yes, they are. From the initial contact, they were responsive and professional. They provided a detailed, on-the-spot online quote, and the final invoice matched it exactly--no surprises, no hidden charges. (That's huge for me, as I really dislike unexpected costs.) The project was substantial: heavy wall priming (after some tough previous tenants), ceiling repairs, hot patching, sheetrock work, and removing five old surround-sound outlets from the ceiling (seriously--who installs those on the ceiling?!). No large job goes 100% glitch-free, but the communication was excellent, the team worked hard, and the end result is perfect. I'm extremely picky, and the ceiling came out exactly as I envisioned: smooth, flawless, one-and-done. He never mentioned that a ton of dust would be created when cutting through grout, and did not attempt to put up plastic, so the entire house was covered in micro-dust just 2 weeks after the house was freshly painted. The owner called me after I inquired about the silica dust, but didn't offer any help for the extra charge or mess created. They are coming back today to fix issues created when they did the job the first time. I would not recommend them.

Warren has yet to send his report to us. Myself and my mother, Kathleen Lanteigne, have contacted him several times. He promised to send the report by the next day. That was two weeks ago. Now he won't answer our phone calls. Our roof is compromised and we really need this report so we know what course to take to remedy it. I would happily change this review if an adequate report was received. I also left a review on this companies Facebook page. Here are screenshots of the owner's response. Extremely unprofessional. I also forgot to mention that Mr. Joyce failed to show up to our initial appointment. We waited for an hour for him to come. On the phone, he said he forgot and we rescheduled for later that day.
