I'm in between houses and have been bouncing between San Diego and Havasu with 4 kids so you can imagine how my suburban must look. While in San Diego my grandmas neighbor recommended Javier. I was nervous and hesitant because I have a detailer I use regularly in my hometown and my regular detailer is pretty stiff competition. I saw this company via Offerup and contacted them to have my interior detailed since the other company i contacted never showed up. I'm glad Javier took the time to drive here in our place and explained to me how their detailing works and after everything, i was satisfied with the end result. I don't own a luxury car, nor my car is considered filthy beyond belief. It's just a regular Ford Focus sedan that has not been detailed for 7yrs. I only have dust build ups and some drink/coffee accident spills on the passenger seat. My seats are cloth so it was a bummer to spill something on them. I really wanted to give these guys 5 stars! I'm all for supporting small businesses, especially young and hardworking entrepreneurs who are establishing themselves. I'll start with the positive: very affordable and competitive pricing (the lowest I found, in a brief search) Easy to book, great availability (I got a next day appointment) Good communication -they confirmed the appointment and let me know when they were on the way. Fast -the whole service, a complete detail, was done in just under 1.5 hours. What could have been better: the thoroughness and attention to detail. Performing auto detail requires...attention to detail! My car was dirty and I wanted it to be clean as new. This was my motivation for the service. I have young kids and honestly, neglect my 2 year old car. What this means is that these guys had a big job and they worked hard, however, spending a few extra minutes and really taking the time to look over each part of the car and see that it was as clean as possible, would have left me feeling better about the service. If it were a bigger job because of the car was somewhat dirty (nothing crazy but it was definitely due for a deep clean), they should have given me the option to pay more but get the service I paid for which is absolutely clean. I'm okay with scratches and the light wear and tear that exists, but I wanted all the dirt, grime and crumbs gone. Some of the parts that were missed...thorough vacuum of the trunk -there's still dog hair. Cleaning the trunk and inside of rear window...there's dust and dirt. More thoroughly detailing the inside...the drivers door pocket still has residue and crumbs. More thorough vacuum in general. Some spots on the outside I believe should have been scrubbed off (I can scrape and remove them with my fingernail)...they're likely bugs or pollen). Better cleaning the undercarriage. Overall Javier and Matt worked hard and quickly. They had the necessary tools and cleaned the mats, seats, conditioned the leather and GREATLY improved my vehicle. It's just not as clean as I would have liked. For the materials they used, their front door service and 3 man hours in the sun, $100 was more than reasonable. I'd just encourage them to take the extra time to finish the job with some more attention to detail. read more

My daughter had her car done by Javier and loved it and recommend to me to have my new car done as well. She did say he was a little late for her appointment so to give an a couple hours for the time he gets there to when he leaves. I confirmed the night before the time he would show up (as seen in photo) I made the appointment for 9am today and by 9:25 he was still a no show with no communication as to why he was late. After reaching out he claims the rain delayed his appointments before me and would be a little late and not too long after that he said he would be on his way. Couple more hours went by no show. By 12pm I messaged him in frustration that I had missed out on working (since I do deliveries and ride sharing) and was late to a number of other engagements I had lined up. This is NOT how you run a business or take care of customers. I would have been fine if I had more updates. But to completely ghost my appointment is down right wrong. I DO NOT recommend this auto detailing. Go somewhere more professional. read more
