I wound up calling Brian, MR FIX IT, NEIGHBORHOOD HANDYMAN, who showed up as planned. it turned out not to be a simple matter of being off-balance (a plight suffered daily by its elderly owners). Brian had to take the beast apart to find the glitch and, yes, Fix It. He was able to avoid us having to buy a new one (with its additional installation labor), but he was also very personable and entertaining, efficient and neat. I definitely recommend him for the myriad of snafus your home conjures up behind your back. 916-899-2288

I've had projects that I thought would be bigger than they wound up. They came out and one assessed, it was a simpler fix. My prices were adjusted accordingly. I would run away from having Mike to work on your fence or painting. He promised a great job and…read moreall we had was headache. Everything he committed to do for me he later changed his mind. The fence was totally done wrong and the wood is now separating on the fence only 6 months after his work. The height and the style was not even the same. You can see in-between the slates and the natural wood is showing. It's definitely a botched job all the way around. He over sprayed our fence into our neighbors pool and deck. I wanted to write a review so no one else wasted thousands of dollars on a terrible job. Our neighbor hated the work on the fence as well. Mike is a nice person but the quality is not there and he commits to work without writing it all down on his estimates so he isn't committed to follow it through. Be very cautious.

I offered a bit extra if he could come the same day since I was hoping to get everything done before Thanksgiving, and he made it happen. Igor and his team were extremely professional from start to finish. He is incredibly meticulous and even suggested installing wood planks behind the lights to keep the light patterns consistent. I had spoken with five or six other installers before, and none of them mentioned this. By the way, not only did he install the wood planks but painted them to match the exterior. Igor was also very mindful about hiding all cables to keep the exterior looking clean, which I really appreciated. We feel very fortunate to have found Igor, and we were pleasantly surprised to learn that he does much more than just lighting installations.
