He came out, pulled the pump, found holes in the pipe, and the motor was shot. Gave me options , and also his recommendation. It seemed so quick and painless. Initially, Mark was professional and gained entry to the room after 45 minutes. If the encounter had ended there, I would have given him 5 stars. However a stealthy act, I caught him taking pictures in my home on his cell phone, changed my rating. When I called him out, he said, "Oh, I didn't think you'd mind." If that were true, he would have asked me first and not attempted to hide his actions. I insisted that he delete the photos. He apologized but I felt uncomfortable and my privacy was violated. I just wanted to pay him and end the encounter. Later, someone needed a locksmith and remembered I had a recent service. They asked for my recommendation so I decided to share my experience.

As of yet, I am still waiting for a couple companies to call me back. Another well known Rochester locksmith said they could cut a key but NOT program it so it would still involve that tow to a dealer. Now that leaves the remaining 3 locksmiths that said they could cut and program keys. The lowest quote to the highest quote ranged almost $200...so glad I took the time to call around. A-1 was the second lowest quote but the locksmith with lowest quote was having equipment problems and was actually unavailable. Anyway, Mark from A-1 answered the phone right away and was very friendly. He took the time to double check the quote so we wouldn't be surprised by anything when he actually got here. As we live off in the country, he was great at communicating his ETA. While here, you could tell he has 25yrs of experience; he was courteous and he worked diligently on making sure the key was perfect. He went way above and beyond with this service and we cannot thank him enough. Hands-down, A-1 will be used again. They are the best choice and best deal for a locksmith!

I received timely responses and they set an expectation for service which they met. Second, they were extremely thorough in the removal and clean-up process even going so far as to assure tree material was removed from my neighbor's garage roof and driveway. I swear, my yard looked better after their clean up than before! Finally, they provided great service for a rate that was lower than other bids I received. They had equipment that allowed them to enter my backyard without removing a fence, they completed a full removal of the tree, ground the stumps, and covered the site with black dirt and grass seed. I highly recommend them and would absolutely use them again.
