This branch of Boots is one of the larger ones and has a really good range of products. There are…read moreloads of make up ranges and toiletries, but the gifts section is really good too. The store is well laid out and looks clean and tidy. The staff are pleasant and helpful and they do their best to serve you as quickly as possible at the checkouts. I can usually find what I am looking for in this branch of Boots, although it is not always the cheapest place around with other places like Bodycare that sell a lot of the same products. You can use your Boots advantage card though and save up for some treats for yourself!

It's just over the road from the large Sainsburys superstore. In the same complex is Next, JJB, Mamas and Papas and the Holiday Superstore. Across the road is McDonalds, Frankie & Benny, Pizza Hut, etc. You'll also find the cinema, TenPin and Canons Health Club. It's also just across from Sixfields where Northampton play their football. So a good Boots. Instore Pharmacy. Snacks. You can print your own photos or hand them in for developing - no in-store processing. Very clean toilets and baby change too.

There are many Boots stores near me, but this is probably my favourite. Situated on the 'right'…read moreside of Northampton for us, and not too far into traffic hell, it is a nice airy place to visit, parking is plentiful and there is a handy cashpoint right outside. I have always found the staff here to be friendly and helpful. The store carries a great range of mens' toiletries and things like vitamin supplements and baby stuff (Mamas and Papas next door makes this a no-brainer). I don't have a Boots card, but the checkout girls have always validated my receipts without my asking, so my wife can pick up the points. Sounds like a small thing, but it doesn't happen everywhere and Boots points pay for loads of our Christmas shopping, so they are well worth keeping on top of. I would give this shop a genuine 5, apart from the car park location means crossing a mad entry/exit lane to get to the shop, which is a bit stressful with kids. If it wasn't for that I'd give it ten out of ten. So I give it 9, which on here is still 5 stars!!
