I…read morebought a bottle of shampoo in Boots for £2, popped in here afterwards and saw the same bottle for 50p - that's a huge saving! Not only are their prices already heavily discounted, they also have 3 baskets of further reduced goodies on a table at the back of the shop. It can get busy in this shop but they are always well staffed so it's not really a problem.

The only thing it doesn't have is the mobile phone stand. The variety of make up is very large in this store with at least 10 to choose from. There is also a pharmacy in this store and I have very rarely seen a queue for this service. They also offer checks for diabetes and other common health problems. When it comes to paying for your goods in this store there are two check outs at totally opposite ends of the store. This really helps to minimise any waiting you may have to do. I recommend this store.

It is located in the Harpur Centre…read more As you walk in there are 3 isles, the first one containing food and baby items, the second containing things like shampoo and hair dye and the third containing make up - so it is a pretty varied shop. It isn't huge so choice is limited but they should stock at least one of every type of product you would expect in a larger Superdrug. I find some of the staff in this shop a little ignorant - they really don't seem to care at all and it's usual practice for them to put the transaction through the till without a word - not even a goodbye. This Superdrug does tend to get busy as it is in the very centre of all the shopping at Bedford so don't expect not to queue - if you can, plan ahead and visit the other one where there is more choice and less of a queue.

I sometimes find that The Body Shop shops are either too small and crammed full of stuff, or too big and it feels like you will get lost in them however I find Bedford a lovely compromise. They have all the bath sets at the front and then at the back it leads onto the cosmetic counter. The staff have always been helpful, but I find that if you ask for advice on something they can be a little bit pushy so I tend to just decline the help politely when they ask first time. The Body Shop sells quality products which are perfect for a treat as they are a little on the expensive side!
