Eldon square boots can get very congested but that's because you can now get pretty much anything all in one location. Always good offers to be had and those Boots loyalty points soon rack up if you regularly buy your essentials here. The staff can be slightly hit and miss if like me you need help picking a hair dye due to the sudden spurt of grey hairs! Then again you can't expect staff to be knowledgeable about all products as there are just too many. It's worth noting that you can get your prescriptions sent directly from your GP to the pharmacy and there is even a doctors surgery downstairs for those living in the city centre.

We ventured back to the start of the concourse and discovered this large branch of Boots beckoning us. It is pretty large, especially by airport standards and stocks their whole range, including their coveted food section which we ended up getting our plane meals from. I had a Philadelphia and ham sandwich, which was nice and kept me filled for 4 long hours on the plane. I also got a bag of salt and vinegar Walkers crisps and a bottle of Irn Bru (true Scot here!) Even though the shop was very busy, the queues went down quickly and we were served by friendly staff members who were very efficient. I would say that Boots is the best bet for buying food in Newcastle Airport, as it is pretty cheap and nowhere else in the terminal is.

This particular store is a good size and they sell a lot of products found in their larger stores such as the Metro Centre store. There is rarely a queue and staff are helpful.

The staff are friendly in the store and there aren't often long queues at the till.

Unfortunately it is rather a small sized shop with only two aisles and one main till, which means it does tend to get quite crowded and busy. It also has a lot of competition from Boots, which is almost opposite the store and from general stores like Wilkinsons, which is nearby. The shop has a small entrance which can be difficult to negotiate with a wheelchair or pushchair, especially at busy times. Inside you can only really walk in one direction, which is in an anti-clockwise direction down one long, thin aisle and around the other side of it. The shop sells cosmetics, body care materials for men and women, some magazines, a few sweets and other things like phone vouchers and stamps. Price wise, the store offers better value than Boots but perhaps less choice. There is usually two members of staff at the till which is close to the entrance. They are friendly and helpful and serve quickly and without fuss, which is essential in a store as small and as busy as this one. A great store but one of many I'd choose in this particular section of the mall at Cramlington.

As well as the Superdrug own brand items available they stock well known brands of beauty and personal grooming products. It's a long, narrow shop and navigating it with a buggy can be a bit of a struggle if the shop is crowded. The quality of their own range is good and the choice wide - they even sell things like stamps and mobile phone top-upsI sometimes shop at another Superdrug store, near my work ,and the staff there are generally unfriendly but in this store the staff are pleasant. They stock a good amount of miniature cosmetics/toiletries, ideal for taking away on holiday - very handy.

Sometime if you print discount or got point when you buy some item from the pink machine you can use reduce items too so its more cheaper and also have a loop hold got a free for what you buy. I love shopping there but not the prescription store because the staff not really good to help, when i need some specific medicine they tell me to go hospital but the end i found near they store on tesco.
