It might be worth walking the extra 10/15 minutes to the giant Superdrug on Princes Street, but this shop carries most of the basics.
I'm a creature of simple tastes when it comes to my beauty regime and so far this place has ever let me down. I'm not going to up my rating though because, maybe I'm just spoiled, but where's all the deals?! I work on a limited budget (also I'm a miser...) so I rejoice in deals but this small shop rarely has any, apart from emery boards at the till the odd time.
There's also not a huge range when it comes to newer big name brands, you'll get your Nivea and Clearasil but don't expect any of the newer brands that can be found in the bigger shops. They seem to have a particular client base, who like the essentials and they're sticking with it!
So, besides me being annoyed I have to pay full price for things, the staff are nice and always helpful. It's an alright place that will likely have what you need, but don't be surprised if they don't! read more
