They carry a wide range of both mens and ladies fragrances as well as body lotions and gift sets. The ladies at this shop are extremely helpful and often have tiny samples available, especially for new perfumes. Prices are often cheaper than the larger stores, so it is worth calling by and comparing the offers.

Most of the popular brands are stocked and the prices are often cheaper than the main 'High St' chemists. It is often worth comparing the prices before buying as savings can be made. The perfumes are all behind the tills and if the shop is busy, it be awkward to ask to sample a perfume, but if you know what you want then it can be several pounds cheaper. Well worth checking out.

They have pretty competitive prices - some of the prices are only a little cheaper than the main stores like Boots but every little helps. I prefer their other brands though - they sometimes stock really interesting and premium brands like Urban Decay which aren't as well known in the UK and are obviously packaged for the US market, so you can get some really unusual and good quality products for very little. I've even found some premium organic, natural brands here. They do change frequently though so if you find something you like, it's probably best to stock up on it quickly as you won't have a guaranteed supply. The Blackpool branch is very central.

The perfumes in question were a particular Burberry and a men's Creed fragrance. We were really keen to source the Creed, but were told that "Creed is rubbish" - which especially amusing given it was her who introduced us to that brand some years before. Good advert for Internet buying - but not from them!

I've called in here twice now and I've had so many different results in terms of obtaining samples. Firstly, I came in to ask if there was any samples and the staff member seemed nice and probably gave me about 6 or 7 from good brands too such as Sauvage by Dior, Hugo Boss and Jean Paul Gaultier. Secondly, I came in and did the same a week later with a new member of staff and was only given two, one was an opened Hugo Boss Intense and the other was just a standard one. The member of staff seemed a little disinterested on that occasion. Comparing to other Perfume Shop's I have visited, this is typical and is still much better than The Fragrance Shop, who I have had bad experiences with in Liverpool and just a few stores down also in the Manchester Arndale. The store inside is okay, it is pretty much average for any store of its sort and does seem to have a good stock of the main brands, of course it is quite hard to browse without asking a member of staff as near enough everything is behind their till, which is different to the Bradford branch who mainly use this method with some on the back wall too. This store is okay and it is just basically average, average, average, yet I feel only deserves a high two star rating because of immense competition and it should be doing more in a city centre with so many other places to go to win customers such as other branches of TPS, The Fragrance Shop, Boots, House of Fraser, Selfridges, Debenhams - The list goes on so you can get my point!

I got a very friendly welcome when i entered the shop, and the aroma was absolutely wonderful on entering, i tod the lady what i wanted and she gave me so many testers to try, not knowing really what my auntie really liked i went with the advice of the sales assistant and went with the most popular perfume they sell.Then came the best bit , the assistant then went to wrap it up and how beautiful did she do it was absolutely gorgeous, just hw a gift should be wrapped i was given a sample for myself and if you write your name and address down they get in touch with you to go for different treatments all free!!!! Got to rate this shop 1st class its a must if you ever go to Chester.

He washes, of course( well I presume he must do because he's always in the bathroom) but he's never been much into the whole male grooming thing. Once safely in the car, and away from well-meaning and easily-offended relatives, presents of facial scrubs and moisturisers have been passed with clockwork regularity to me from Dad for several Christmases now. Recently though, as a thank you from work colleagues, Dad received a bag of soaps and potions from L'Occitaine. Once Mum informed them of how special and how expensive these were I think he felt obliged to start using them. And he reported that they were fantastic - and we all noticed. Instead of smelling like three-year old counterfeit Davidoff, Dad began to give off a pleasant almost soothing aroma. I think he was disappointed when the supply ran out. So if you visit L'Occitaine and you see a be-glassesed man with salt and pepper hair wearing an old Berghouse cagoule over his pinstriped suit then be sure to recommend the' gel de resage'.

They have a luxurious variety of products for both men and women all of which come at expensive prices, so you can expect 100% quality. This is a great place to come if you are looking to purchase a fancy gift for somebody's Birthday or Christmas present, commonly for a parent or partner. You can ensure whatever product you buy from L'Occitane has value and elegant image whether it is something as simple as a face cream or a shaving gel. The service is also fab because it is definitely the first ever time I've been offered a glass of champagne upon entering a shop! Unfortunately I dislike champagne but the staff were incredibly friendly with smiles all around.

Overall, this store is quite small but is a typical store in regards to The Fragrance Shop (TFS), and it is similar to the old branch they did have in Manchester up until opening the new one around the start of April. The staff members seemed unfriendly, unhelpful and unwilling to talk to me about possible fragrances, she just seemed like she couldn't be bothered, and didn't like her work. This is a shame. I was told there wasn't any samples, she also didn't seem willing to at least let me smell/sample any of the other fragrances, which seemed similar to The Perfume Shop's policy also in Blackburn, which made no sense and made me feel like they didn't care or want a sale, so sadly due to poor customer service skills and the other comments mentioned above I sadly feel this store deserves a single one star.
