Most of the popular brands are stocked and the prices are often cheaper than the main 'High St' chemists. It is often worth comparing the prices before buying as savings can be made. The perfumes are all behind the tills and if the shop is busy, it be awkward to ask to sample a perfume, but if you know what you want then it can be several pounds cheaper. Well worth checking out.

They have pretty competitive prices - some of the prices are only a little cheaper than the main stores like Boots but every little helps. I prefer their other brands though - they sometimes stock really interesting and premium brands like Urban Decay which aren't as well known in the UK and are obviously packaged for the US market, so you can get some really unusual and good quality products for very little. I've even found some premium organic, natural brands here. They do change frequently though so if you find something you like, it's probably best to stock up on it quickly as you won't have a guaranteed supply. The Blackpool branch is very central.

This branch of Superdrug is a fairly large store, located in Blackpool centre…read more I called in here while passing through Houndshill Shopping Centre, the store is a decent size and seems to be set out like a typical Superdrug store, perhaps slightly. more modern than my local Middleton store. There was a decent selection of drinks too. The typical Superdrug 2 for £2 offer on which was good, I was able to use my Unidays voucher here as well which gave me a further 10% off which is a cool promoton. The store seemed quite understaffed, there only seemed to be one member of staff working who seemed nice enough Stock of other items was poor / below average. I think this store has done enough to earn at least two stars but sadly it hasn't done enough to earn anything over a high two star rating.

I would advise to have a look at the shop next door, Home Bargains first if you have time as some of the products such as hair products and bubble bath etc can be found next door for a cheaper price. Superdrug has many offers on at different times.

Not keen on this store - i had a bit of a 'run in' with a staff member (Manager i think) i…read morecomplained of the poor service and abrupt customer service i experienced there - when you shop it should be a pleasurable experience . most of the staff where on guard down the cosmetics aisle as you walk in, i found this intimidating - they should be on hand to helpo and assist you in a proffesional manner not watching you Maybe they should get a better shop fit as it doesnt feel right the layout is all wrong - or maybe they should have cosmetic consultants at hand like you see in department stores - this would help!! This store would benefit from all staff members attending a customer service course ( AND THE MANAGER). As it was definatly a un proffesional team that works there! I myself wont be shopping there again and i know of people that have the same opinion of this store that lives in the area - who wont support it either - i predict that in the future it will be an empty shop if they dont get there acts together and work as a team!! st annes - resident.
