From the moment I sat in her chair, she was incredibly attentive, calm, and genuinely sweet. She took the time to really look at what was going on with my hair and explained what she was going to do to fix it. I appreciated how patient and reassuring she was throughout the whole process. Delaney completely fixed my uneven cut and turned what felt like a disaster into a super cute style that I actually love. Her attention to detail is amazing, and she made sure everything was balanced and flattering. She also shared really helpful tips about hair care and styling, which I appreciated so much. I maybe 57 yrs. old but I am not wanting to get my hair set in curlers weekly , I don't want to cover my gray (or as my friend calls it, my tinsel hair and I don't want to cut it short just b/c I am over 40. I had been going to a place that had been alright when my hair was as short as the hairdresser's. When I decided to change it up , as I do from time to time, she never seemed to get what I requested. After every appointment, I would go home and fix the fringe she failed to cut. Once I noticed how bad the back was becoming , the search was on. That is when I came across " She gives the BEST fringe cuts." I was hesitant of this new venue because it was a little more themed than I was used too. In my 20's, I would have been all over it.... But, once I walked in the door and was greeted by Alyssa, all concerns were "washed" away. Friendly Enthusiastic and clearly Loves what she does. I never dreamed we would have common grounds (since I am old enough to be her Tia) but we sure found plenty to chat and laugh about. I did have to listen carefully at some of her 26/ 27 yrs old lingo since I am old but I am a quick learner. I know 1st time cuts typically need to take longer b/c she has to figure out what had happened, how to fix it and how to try and not have to chop off too much (which is what I had anticipated). What an artist!! I have fringe. I have layers. I can dry it straight without if looking like a 4 year old took scissors to it. Tomorrow , I will play with my natural curly side . Alright - There's awesome... and then there's Christina…read more(Owner) and Pharmis. BOTH savvy, warm, kind, super experienced, and GOT my hair immediately. My first visit was with Pharmis - greeted me warmly, then hit right down to the business of beautifying... One hour later: conditioned, trimmed, and an awesome blow out that STILL looks good 2 days later! Another perk: she stays later than most stylists - allowing those of us with day jobs, or in need of more than a few hours to do errands on Sundays - to still get in an appointment for the weekend. My second visit was with the owner, and she was equally awesome - had some great suggestions, took my own input about my blowout, and we scheduled for an upcoming appointment to help write in my highlights. Can't wait.
