Only complaint is that the store is often not open on Sundays and Mondays, Which is completely reasonable but just a little inconvenient :3 I definitely recommend being very specific about what you want, because they will do everything they can to get your hair down to exactly how you want it.

I went on-line Sunday, October 17, 2021 to check in online to get haircuts for my children. It stated that there was a 10min wait and I checked in and it stated that I was scheduled for 2:30pm. We went there and the gate was closed with a sign stating laying on the desk that I almost didn't even see, stating that they were at lunch for the next hour. The sign (piece of paper) was haphazardly tossed on the desk not posted on the gate. I was not even sure if it was meant to be some kind of notification or not. We did not wait as I had no idea if anybody was coming back. I noticed the gate closed a couple weeks prior when I was shopping at Walmart around 1:00 in the middle of the week. I thought the place maybe went out of business. I found out they had not. I don't know what is going on with this location, but it seems there is new management, well this new management is clearly not doing there job. Where is Rachael? You need to reevaluate and make some changes! This place was a booming business. I often took my boys hers for cuts and there was always lots of business. NEVER have I seen the gate closed and now it's happened twice just that I have seen in the last month.

I received a text at 9:50 AM asking if I could come in early as a person she worked with would be leaving for a Botox Customer appointment. I discovered Phenix Salon Suites at the Highland Plaza shopping center when I made an appointment…read morewith one of its beauty tenants. At first, I was confused and unsure if I was at the right place, but as soon as I walked in and saw their map directory, I knew I wasn't. There are 34 suites available and 15 businesses listed in their directory. I felt so silly not knowing that this existed, especially after realizing that one of my own friends has her business there. I walked around and noticed that most suites are occupied by hair stylists, barbers, lash specialists, and makeup artists. You will everything for your beauty needs including waxing, skin care, and treatments. Now that I think about it, this salon suite concept is brilliant for independent salon professional to own and operate their own business without the major facility expenses. According to their website, their leases are month-to-month, offering flexibility, and equipment/utilities are included. The vibe was very calm, intimate, and professional. I'll definitely check out more businesses here.

Recently booked an appointment with Jill.  I had reference pictures of the color I wanted. Jill…read morestated several times she was thinking of how to execute the color. During the session, Jill continued talking about how long the color was going to take. She said she was going to color it a quicker way and only had the color sit for 15-20 minutes.  When she was drying my hair I saw several missed spots including my widows peak. My natural hair is brown and I was seeing brown. When she finished, Jill said she wanted me to come back to fix the darker parts. I agreed and made a second appointment. I confirmed the second appointment was no additional charge. Jill texted on the morning of my appointment saying she wasn't available. She tried to see another stylist was available, but no one was.  She said she could see me the following week but that wasn't going to work. I had a 3 hour appointment and neither of us got the desired results. I called the salon and spoke with the receptionist, she confirmed no other stylist was available. Then she claimed she could fit me in as long as it was only going to take a couple of hours, but if it was going to take longer they weren't able to do anything. She kept asking me what I wanted fixed which was annoying. I assume Jill and the receptionist didn't have a conversation about how to fix the color. The receptionist had me as being blonde in their system, but I have never been blonde. I told the receptionist there were brown parts I wanted fixed. I told receptionist since there is no availability, I wasn't sure if I wanted to go back. Her response was, "The stylist did her best." I emailed the owner of Oma Salon, Becky Wheelus, asking for a full or partial refund. Becky claims I was given a discount. I never received a discount. I was charged for the entire appointment, $241 including tip. Becky asked me to go back but I've already had to go to another salon because Oma was unavailable and unwilling.
