This salon is AWESOME! I moved to the desert a year ago and was searching high and low for a place to get a hair cut and highlights. Not only do they do an amazing job at both, but the customer service is on point. The manager has done a great job in training the staff. She has an awesome memory and remembered me on my second visit. Everyone is welcoming and so detailed oriented. They discuss every aspect of your haircut before they start to cut your hair. Amanda did MY hair; she was awesome! She did the perfect color, and I will definitely return for a cut and color in future. She was pleasant and thorough. Rosa listened to my description and repeated it back to me so I was comfortable that we were on the same page, then she proceeded to give me one of the best haircuts I've had in ages. Extremely disappointed! Sunday I went to Super Cuts to get my base color done. They stylist Diane was pleasant. She brought me the color hair swatches to try to match my base color which is auburn. She has done my hair before but did not remember the color used. Neither did I. Since she was the professional I pretty much left it up to her to choose the appropiate color. She did the color and when she was finished blew the top dry. I noticed she was looking at the top of my head and looked a bit puzzled. She then said to me " maybe should have used a darker color". I came home and did not wash my hair until the following day and blew it dry. I noticed the roots in certain places were not even. A little gray showing, and it looked like all the roots would definately show within a week. I called Super Cuts the manager Rosa was not there but returned my call today. She is a nice girl and knows that I have been a customer for about a year. She told me that if I came in within the week they would redo the color and fix it. I was very happy with that. Then an hour of so later she called me back and after speaking to her manager, maybe owner, proceeded to tell me that because "WE" changed the color would not be able to redo it and would not refund the $79.00 I spent. "WE?" I questioned, you are the professionals and I come to you to pick the color that is going to blend the best! I don't know anything about hair, dye, colors. So the point is, the manager on the first phone call told me to come in, and after speaking to her boss, or whoever she was changed her story and said it was not their policy and they have rules to follow! She really made me feel bad, almost like I was trying to get something for nothing! I felt humiliated. I have never been treated this way as a customer! I totally understand rules, but once in a while rules are made to be bent or broken to accomodate a good customer who lives in the Sun City neighborhood next door. All I asked for was to have my color corrected and touched up. It would have taken less then ten minutes. I urge you to think twice before going to Super Cuts in Sun City Palm Desert!!! By the way, there happens to be a lovely salon directly across the parking lot in the same center that do incredible work! Everyone there is so nice and their prices are less! Went to this salon for a trim. The manager did my hair and did a super job. Went back a week later for a full haircut!! Again, great job. I asked if I should do some highlights on my hair and she suggested I wait. The salon is clean and the hairdressers are very professional and not pushy to get you to buy hair products. My gal told me to use up what I had first, before purchasing more items! Other salons constantly push me to buy the products they have used on my hair! Great cheers for Supercuts!! read more

Finally, finally, a salon where I can have a perfect color, cut and blow dry at realistic prices. What a delightful change from stuffy, snooty and expensive salons. I went for the first time to Supercuts and explained what I wanted, which was a rescue from a bad (or should I say horrible) cut which I had endured for far too long. Finally, I decided that anyone else could do a better job than the person I was loyal to for years. I met a delightufl young stylist who understood perfectly what I needed, as hard as it is to describe hair styling in mere words. I walked out of there and for the first time in many years (!) I attracted admiring looks. (men can't fake that). The tab was affordable and a fraction of what it had cost me in the expensive salon. From now on I am a loyal customer. I think of all the years and $$$$ wasted at a fancy salon. read more

Took my two kids to get haircuts. My daughter wanted her hair cut short and I believe the hairdressers name was Nora, she did an amazing job with both haircuts. My daughter was very happy with her hair and even teared up a little when we got home, she told me she looked beautiful The staff was super friendly and I will definitely be bringing my kids back. Supercuts Sun City Palm Desert is the worst place to have your hair colored. It took Nora 3 times to try and fix the color job she did on me...to no avail. I now look like Trump with orange hair. I tried to get a refind but the owner was so nasty to me. The dye job was $65 with an additional charge of $20 for her attempt to do it right. Stay away from this place. read more
