It was a bit hard to find the entrance to the salon, but once inside it was cute and cozy. The front desk gal had me fill out some paperwork and then I went down stairs where the spa location is. The aesthetician who did my facial was pleasant and did a good job. Full hour service, which included hydration, exfoliation, mask, massage. Skin felt really good afterwards. Price was $65 which is reasonable for an hour facial. Unfortunately tip cannot be added on the card, and it's a bit of a hassle to add on a tip if one does not have cash. Good to know for next time. Would recommend - although it would be helpful for them to indicate where the front door is!

Not a hello, not a smile, just a, "CAN I HELP YOU?" by a lady, who honestly looked like she might even own the place. Older lady, short (reddish?) hair. I was a little taken aback, but I understand sometimes greetings can be difficult. I walk up to the desk, and explain to the lady that I wanted to do something special for my mom's birthday on a Monday. I don't come to salons often, so I was truly just looking for some KIND insight. Instead of really being any help at all, let alone kind, the lady (in my opinion) very rudely says, "WELL, we aren't even open on monday. Most salons aren't open on Monday." Like I said, I am not at salons often, which I thought I made obvious with my humble questions I asked her initially. Instead of a comforting, kinda response, she talks to me in a tone and (i also think the response) as if I'm stupid. Call me crazy, but if you want people's business, maybe consider not making the customer feel stupid. I'm sure maybe the services they offer here are probably done fine, but I can tell you right now kindness goes a long way. I can truly say I dodged a bullet by not giving this business my money--let alone taking my mom here for her birthday.

She over charged me (I got the same thing that my friend always gets from her and she charged me $5 more after telling me it would be the same price) so I brought exactly enough cash (she only takes cash) for my nails and to tip her and had to go to the bank and get more money out so I could give her a tip. I then paid and additional $4 and some change for the ATM fee. Most expensive nail trip ever! The acrylic on my nail broke the next day (whatever I just needed it fixed). After trying every other day to get my nail fixed for over 2 weeks she never made time for me and eventually said it wasn't her responsibility because I had gotten my nails done somewhere else before that. I wasn't even asking her to fix it for free. I just wanted it fixed before my natural nail broke off. Well it did break off and I ended up going somewhere else and all she had to say was sorry it didn't work out. After all that, I'm not sorry! And recently fought getting justice for a dog that a man had burned over 90% of her body and was successful in getting him the max sentence and put in prison, I was emotionally depleted, I had really wanted to get my hair highlighted and my hair dresser is back in Ohio where my family is. I wanted to feel better, and at least look better so I chose the Hair spa. My first visit in August was good the stylist is very sweet and she had did a nice job including style and the price was awesome. So I decided to go back the next month in September for more highlights, to my surprise the bill was more and I didn't get style and left with my hair wet she had a client waiting and I decided to let her take her next client and head home, but I questioned the bill. She said it's inflation. At 100%??? I contacted my bank to dispute the other half. Tipping is separate and I tipped 30-35% each time. That wasn't the dispute. The owner Mendi contacted me and said she would credit my account $90 if I dropped the dispute and gave her salon a second chance, that I wasn't charged enough my first visit by mistake. She rang it in wrong, when I came back October 25th the credit was $65 not 90. I mentioned this to the stylist. We agreed on a partial highlight and haircut. After the process I said my hair looks very brassy. She said your under a warm light. I paid my bill minus the credit and tipped her. When I got home I saw my hair was indeed brassy. I instantly called the salon and my hairstylist answered and agreed to redo it the next day because I was having major surgery on Thursday and would be down recovering for 6 weeks. The redo on my hair was rough. She said your hair isn't lightning up and I have to mix up more stuff. Sadly it made my hair way worse and a large patch of white circle is on top of my head and didn't blend. The brass still there. When I left I was upset hundreds of dollars in services and tips combined, and I also tipped the second day too because that's her time and I just wanted it fixed. I contacted Mendi the salon owner via Fb messenger with photos of both visits 2 days in a row, this was the second chance she asked for, I had only had my hair done professionally at a salon one other time this year and it wasn't in Lafayette. . I asked for receipts which came cut off, and details of totals and payment methods missing. She said she was trying to make the best of a bad situation. She never even commented on the photos which are horrible, the amount of money to fix this will be another few hundred. She offered to refund me the other 90 from the second visit I disputed and said she would refund the money to my card on file, I informed her that card was cancelled and I have a new card, she said she refunded it and it didn't bounce back. My bank said there's no way a refund went to my card that card is void, I emailed her back to let her know but she insisted it went thru. I waited and contacted her again with my banks phone number and she never contacted them or responded, my bank contacted me because they wanted more details on the receipts and some were cut off I contacted the salon to get my receipt I needed and was hung up on by the receptionist, then my husband called back and he too was hung up on. I let my bank know, I emailed Mendi one last time and she sends me a message saying I've contacted other salons in the area and your a problem this isn't the first time you've done this! Like I destroyed my own hair? Paid and tipped well, I have only had my hair done twice this year. Since Covid 3 times, one wasn't in Lafayette at all. Calling other salons to slander me? This has been the only dispute. She is a bully she lied never refunded me now contacting other salons giving me a bad name lying, all I wanted to do was feel better thru all the grief. This woman has put me thru hell. Then lies horrible about me salons in my city by calling around to places I've never been too. Horrible. I've filed complaints with my bank, BBB, the Indiana Atty General and the indiana cosmetology board. Having your character assassinated also a veteran, and a person living with PTSD, the exchanges have made me have several panic attacks I'm already on medication for because she was hostile and then gave other salons false information about me and also said I was a problem at other places knowing I've not been to other all these places she accused me of. Like it's my fault my hair was damaged by her salon! I've contacted my attorney as well, Be careful the prices change and before you pay and put your card in their machine know what your charges are before it's too late.
