Since my first visit in 2019, I have always received a warm welcome when coming through the door and have always found the salon to be impeccably clean and organized. It says a lot that many of the stylists are some that I saw on my first visit. Jackie continues to work her miracles with my hair, never wavering when I get a wild hair (pun intended) to try something new. She always listens carefully to my comments and offers her professional suggestions. I have never, in 7 years, left dissatisfied. I always leave in a better mood than when I arrived due to the relaxed, fun, down-to-earth stylists and engaging environment. Thank you, Salon 20/20 for your incredible talent!!

It had been nearly 6 months since my last highlights (only because my stylist apparently took the summer off for personal reasons) so I was a big mess. Faith spent a lot of time with me before making opinions as to the best way to proceed. Time well spent! She ultimately did partial highlights & blunt cut. EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED! And, the products she exposed me to made my thin, fine hair look twice as thick! HUGE! I will definitely be back on a regular basis. So glad I found Faith and Salon 20/20.

I had long hair and have an autoimmune disease that's causing me to lose my hair all over. I was told by my dr that if I'm comfortable, cutting or shaving my hair could be good for me in many ways. I told Rhonda we were doing something a little different and we would be cutting it very short. She listened intently and said "ok, ms. Luanne. We will do this and get through this together." Sometimes, I like to do hard things on my own. Especially lately because I know how hard my health issues have been on my family. On this day I just wanted to go alone and I think God had other plans. The kindness and compassion Rhonda showed me was bar none. She treated me like a human. She met me where I was. She cried with me and literally held me through something that was harder than I was expecting. I just can't say enough good things. I've already been back and Rhonda and I are on this journey together to see what haircut suits my Alopecia best. She is the best and Great Clips is so incredibly lucky to have her and I'm incredibly lucky to have had my hair cut by her.

And then I spent a few minutes picking out a scent for my neck massage - that's right, you get an amazing neck massage with your hair cut! Then I met my new stylist Morgan. What a sweetheart. She totally listened to what I want, as I was doing a big cut of about 8 inches. Of course, doing a big cut you get a little nervous but Morgan put me at ease. Then you get an amazing hair wash - with even a hand massage while you get your hair washed. I loved the eye mask, perfect touch. Then Morgan got started with my cut. I knew before she was finished I would love the cut. She did a great job with checking in to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and she hit it out of the park. Walked out of that spa feeling like a million bucks.

Huge disappointment

I dropped in at 9 am on a Saturday and he was ready and waiting. He is so fast and thorough, and before I knew it, I left with a beautiful blowout and curled style. He is so kind and we had such a good conversation. The salon is warm and inviting, and I can tell he welcomes all types of clients, male or female, from young to older! Also...I'm not sure what kind of wizardry he uses but it's 2 days later and my hair is still looking great, even after I was rained on! I've never had anyone else achieve that. I heard about this place from one of my co-workers after his girlfriend had started working here…read moreand because I have had my fair share of bad haircuts I was a little reluctant about coming to see her. However I called and made an appointment to see Emily because when you dye your hair as much as I do, it dies quickly. Needless to say I needed to get rid of my dead head (get it, puns are fun!). When I called to make the appointment the guy who answered the phone was super nice and I gave him my info and got set up to go. He was so friendly and made sure I wasn't on the phone for very long so to me that's a great start. So the time comes for me to drive out to St. Matthews and once I arrive and walk in I was immediately greeted by the man at the counter and Emily at the same time. I got to the chair, sat down and we started talking about what I wanted to do with my hair, pulled up a couple of pictures that had the style & cut I wanted. Emily looked at my dead follicles and she didn't bitch at me about messed up my hair was. Once she had her idea it was off to shampooing, then the trimming started. The process was fun, relaxing and I really understood Emily's passion and skill the skill this woman has for her craft. After which she styled my hair and I couldn't stop smiling about my new style. The layout of the building is incredibly modern with open concepts and a private washing room in the back so you don't feel like everyone is watching you get your hair washed. They have private-ish stalls with the dryers in little cubby holes (I didn't get to experience that part but it was a different design than I've sen before). The stations are kind of small but they have storage underneath so don't be worried about your stylist not having what you need, it's there I promise. I loved everything about this experience and I recommend everyone go see the wonderful people here, get an appointment with Emily if you can, however if you can't then all the other ladies and gents will be more than happy to give you the hair you deserve!
