So, with that info i went ahead and made my appointment. A bit of background info about my hair journey.I am in my 60"s and had decided around 3 years ago to stop dyeing my hair and to let it grow long.. My hair was healthy and thick and i was happy with my length.. I asked for a little trim due to me wanting it to grow and to add some layers... In all my years I have had my hair thinned maybe 3 times..Hairdressers would lighten up the bulk in the base of my hair nothing drastic but enough so that my hair would fall and style with ease... I walked out with piles of hair on the floor that could have been used for several people that had issues with loss of hair...My ends were thinned out as well...I have never in my life had anyone do this to me before.. My hair has been unmanageable, frizzy, stringy and because of her overly use of the thinning shears looks like I was in need of a haircut desperately.. I notified her of my unhappiness with my results and her response was.. Sorry, "I didn't make you happy" It's normal to texturize...After, several Hairdressers have looked at my hair they all agreed she was to aggressive with the shears and from the condition of my hair she was not experienced in using them the right way...Also, It would of been nice if she had offered to have me come back in to perhaps fix it... Never heard from her again...So, Last night I had my hairdresser in my home state ( since i was in town) chop off 5 inches and i will have to start over with my journey to grow it long...So, look out for ASHLEY TUCKER..
