Basically, I waited last minute (we drove from Tampa) but Vanessa was able to get me in. Even given my long hair, Vanessa did an AMAZING and fast job putting together two Dutch braids. My hair is the longest it's ever been and she has been the fastest at braiding it by far. It held up through three nights of sleep and 22 miles of racing, including log and sandbag carries where the braids would get caught under them, two muddy dunk walls and a swim. Was going to take them out before heading back to work but they still look great so I'm leaving them in an extra day! I highly recommend Vanessa if you're looking to get your hair braided quickly in a way that will last!!

I obliged. I got to the salon counter at 5:18 pm after being dropped off by my husband. I expected I would have to wait, which was fine, but I, an eight month pregnant woman, was not offered a seat to wait in. I instead was told to look around the store while I waited. I again obliged. At 5:30 pm, I walked back up to the counter and stood for five minutes before the hairdresser came to tell me that she would be another 15 minutes and asked if I would mind waiting. I cancelled my appointment. You would think this was a NYC top tier salon for as hard it is to get an appointment. This is Beckley, WV. The total disregard for a client's time was insulting. I will never consider this salon again.

Chadd also does makeup, including air brushing, and has a professional photography studio. Other gals were in there for cuts and colors, and we had a fun time gabbing. I am very happy with how my hair turned out, as I wanted a bit of a drastic change (lots lighter and shorter). Looking forward to working with Chadd on my wedding 'lewk'!

Bangs were below my nose and we were going to bring them below my eyes. Now they're above my eyes. Thin the rest? Apparently not, let's cut off 3 inches. So much for growing my hair out. I look like a fucking soccer mom now. Oh, one eyebrow got trimmed, the other looks like one of the old muppets in the balcony. Nobody should waste money here. Pay a 3 year old to cut your hair. It'll cost less and you'll have the same terrible experience as me.
