Every time I have an order, something is wrong. Whenever I talk to someone on the phone they are very difficult to understand, not because of the accent, but because i can hear two other people talking and the connection is always bad. They tell me my insurance covers something, then next time around they say it isn't covered, then the next day they tell me it is. Hold times can be awful as well. Terrible Experience with Super Care Health - Beware! Super Care Health is an absolutely terrible company! I received my CPAP machine in September 2023 and paid my full insurance copay upfront, which covered me through August 2024. Now suddenly, in April 2025, someone shows up at my door trying to take the machine away! I called their customer service immediately. First, the billing department told me I hadn't paid for two months - which is complete nonsense. Then they transferred me to the compliance department, where I was told that because there was "no usage," the insurance stopped paying. This was the first time I had ever heard of this - no emails, no phone calls, no letters. Nothing. Just someone at my door trying to take the machine. My copay paid until the rental term end! I asked for a refund for the money I already paid. They said you need to contact billing again! The next day they told me I had two machines! That's a total lie - I've only ever had one. Eventually, they admitted it was a system error. And no way to refund money because there's been "no usage" since April, they said I either have to return the machine with no refund or pay extra $700! This company is completely unprofessional and unethical. I have never experienced such unfair treatment. I'm writing this review to warn others: Be very careful if you're thinking of choosing Super Care Health. They are scammers - taking money from both insurance companies and patients, then turning around and claiming they didn't receive it, and threatening to take your machine away. TL:DR This company is an absolute nightmare to deal with and if you value your time and mental health don't bother with them. After a sleep test I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. When trying to get a Cpap, Supercare told me to have my doctor's office send over the numbers from the test. Doctor's office sent over the info, a week and a half goes by, I call supercare and they said they never received the info. This process was then repeated 3 times for another month. Over and over again they did not receive any info. I finally had to have a meeting with the head of my doctor's office staff asking what was going on. She personally called the company and had to get angry with them. So finally I went in to get my Cpap. When at the pickup location, the person setting up the machine for me again asked for the numbers. They had still never received them. I told him I had severe apnea and he programmed the machine accordingly. One year later I am getting hounded by phone calls, text messages, and emails saying that I am eligible for a result for my machine. When clicking the link I am presented with a list of options for supplies, with a drop down menu asking reason for replacement, click it and the options are sizes, not reasons. I clicked off some of the options I didn't need, and then the next week, I'm getting calls again asking for a new prescription from my doctor AND telling me that all the supplies (even the ones I didn't select) were in the attempted order. Now if you use their "online chat" they have no answers and tell you to call. If you call you are first routed to a clearly outsourced call company that has virtually no info for you, and just transfers you to an actual department at the company that you will have to wait on hold to talk to for an extended period of time. Truly what if it had been an emergency? My Oxygen concentrator (DeVilbiss) was sounding different and as I looked it over I saw the back was covered in a deep white lint that I could peel up uncovering the open unprotected filter that should have had a screen but didn't. I called right away to get a replacement as I could only imagine what the inside of the concentrator must look like. I am elderly and live alone and 100% dependent on my concentrator and the risk of a malfunction would be life threatening. I have a rescue tank good for 3 hours. They said they would do an exchange and deliver tonight 7 to 10 p.m. A quarter past 10 I called. My order had yet to be assigned. I was told the driver will call so I hung up. It is now 11 pm. So now what. Go to sleep in my clothes in case they show up? Did I mention I am old? UPDATE: At 1:15 a.m. the phone started ringing and woke me up (shall I say out of a dead sleep?!) and the Supercare delivery man was standing at my door with a new oxygen concentrator. He was very pleasant and respectful and switched out the unit in a matter of minutes and I fell back asleep confident I'd make it to the morning. read more

They are bill collectors. They have harassed me non-stop. Came to my house. My sleep study said I required a chin strap to use the CPAP. I have spoken to them half a dozen times. All they needed to do was provide a chin strap. Instead they have harassed me to go back & have a 2nd sleep study since I failed the useage requirements set by MEDICARE. Fine, I would but can't afford my Medicare payments of $600 plus every 3 months. Have lost my Part B. Working on it. Can't afford to go to Dr or another sleep study until I have Part B Medicare. Located off the 5 freeway and Western Ave offramp... it's on a cul de sac street. There's a couple of commercial buildings and then residential homes toward the back of the street. Once you enter the door, you'll find three chairs on the right as a waiting area. On the left is a conference room where your appointment will be held. Straight ahead is an employee only entrance to the building... probably offices aardvark warehouse space. Parked out front are their delivery vans.. The gentleman came out from the back and took me early. We talked about my problem with the "wisp" mask system they sent me originally. He agreed that he had problems with it himself. He preferred the one I suggested, which is the one that goes into your nostrils only. He brought me one and showed me how it goes on, did some entering on his iPad, had me sign it and i was off in about 10 minutes. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would. My mom was prescribed a CPAP machine while in the hospital a few YEARS ago and we were told by the incompetent respiratory therapist that she needed the machine before she left the hospital. So we obliged and the only company that would cover it and send it out to the hospital was Super Care. Driver got there and delivered the machine with NO PAPER WORK, NO CONTRACT .. NOTHING. Not even anything stating how exorbitant the co-pays would be monthly. All I signed was the drivers CELL PHONE stating it was delivered. Any attempts to contact the billing department or customer service to ask for the paperwork or contract were blatantly ignored and NOTHING was ever sent OR emailed. Cut to YEARS later, we no longer have the machine and now we're getting letters from collections (which we're disputing) stating she owes THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. We're definitely not paying. Beware of this company. They are crooks and do not care about you.. all they care about is MONEY and defrauding the elderly. read more

I've never written a review before, but I have to warn other providers. I ordered oxygen for a patient yesterday. I was told to change the wording 2 different times, so I did. I was then told the patient would receive the oxygen in the evening from 8 pm to 10 pm, and not only did the patient NOT receive the order, but they also did not call myself or the patient to let them know the delivery wasn't going to be made. It was an urgent order, the patient was short of breath and was using her husbands emergency back up tank. The person reviewing orders and refusing them did not even try to contact anyone to let them know the delivery wasn't going to be made. This is dangerous and unacceptable on behalf of supercare. Please consider using a company that will respond to your orders and call you if they have issues. read more

Terrible experience. I almost never write reviews, but they motivated me. I took the prescription for a hospital bed to their office and spoke to a very nice person, but was told the request needed to be processed by customer service. That's where it all went wrong. I had to follow up multiple times. I made sure they got the doctor's notes faxed as requested. Weeks later, I called again to check status and they told me they were out of stock and I needed to seek another vendor. No one bothered to call me and I have now lost two months trying to get this bed for my 94 year old mother who is in pain. read more

The only downside to this office is the building is not clearly marked, so finding the correct parking and entrance is a little difficult. However, that being said... The facility is clean and organized. They have a bare lobby area (ask about the bathroom if needed), but they have a separate meeting/training room for the items you're picking up. Staff is friendly and knowledgable. Answers questions, no matter how silly, and knows about all the parts and how they connect/work. Will pre-set personal choices if needed. I went with my boyfriend to pick up his CPAP machine. We entered the building, rang a bell, and were promptly greeted, by Mr. Tom Hollems, who told us it would be just a moment. Shortly thereafter, we entered the consultation room, which was clean and well organized, and displayed different models of equipment. Mr. Hollems was friendly, professional, and thorough in his presentation of the equipment and its operation, as well as with the mask fitting. He was adept at connecting with the patient, making him feel at ease, and open to new information and procedures. Tom has a good sense of humor and is a great guy, and he made the entire process positive and painless, from beginning to end. Despite my boyfriend's previously unsuccessful attempts at using CPAP machines, Tom's consultation left us feeling optimistic and confident that the prescribed device would be successful, and my boyfriend is already achieving positive results, with marked progress. read more

Overall, I've been very impressed with SuperCare Health, from the telephone customer service staff to Tom Hollems, who is tremendously helpful. Tom if very knowledgable and friendly and taught me initially how to work my CPAP machine, fit me with a mask, and today, recommended an alternate mask. The delivery time, once the products are ordered is usually within 3 days. The products are excellent quality and there does not appear to be a cap that can be spent (I've tried different CPAP masks from CPAP.com and price is not an issue). SuperCare contacts my Primary Care physician on my behalf to obtain insurance approval when I request new products. Critiques: Don't call the 800 number for help, you'll have to wait over an hour for someone to help you. However, there are now 877 numbers where you can obtain help within 5 minutes. Sometimes I am transferred a few times before I speak to the right person. I spoke to one customer service woman who was abrupt and unhelpful, but 90% of the people I speak to are lovely, have a great attitude and try hard to be helpful. I've had trouble finding a CPAP mask that I find comfortable and that people on the phone tell me I can choose any mask I want from CPAP.com or some other websites. They're not allowed to make recommendations, which I would have found helpful; however, I was referred to the fitting department, where Tom was able to help me. About a year ago I received a letter from my medical group, indicating that they were not going to let me use SuperCare any longer, because they were too expensive. I appealed and won, and have been using SuperCare for years by now. I don't want to work with a company that is cheaper and has sub par service. I'm very glad that SuperCare is still the provider for my CPAP supplies - overall, they do a great job! read more

First off, the technician, Tom Hollems gets 5 stars. He was friendly, conversational, helpful and made me feel comfortable. I needed a different BiPAP mask and Yeah, finally got it. Easy quick and painless. Thank you Tom. The reason for the overall four-stars is that initially I went to the Long Beach location for my mask and BiPAP machine. While the technician was super efficient (I had to go through 30 minute training session), the employee who conducted the session, while extremely knowledgeable, was also very curt and let it be known that they'd been doing this for so-and-so-many-years and all questions would be answered, and thus was very visibly irritated by any questions that were asked which reflected in a crabby overall demeanor. Let's just say said technician doesn't suffer fools gladly. Let me repeat that the tech was very good at relaying information, but that's only half the job. The tech was actually pretty good with me because I didn't ask a lot of questions but there was another 65ish gentleman there who was with his even older mother and they were both full of questions and the technician radiated annoyance. I'm sure it can be a drag to repeat the same information day in day out for years, but when you're dealing with mostly elderly people, it's so important to treat them with kindness and respect because it seems the older you get that simple courtesy dwindles. I had to switch ventilators from a Trilogy to an Astral. I wasn't thrilled. Due to the recall of the Trilogy, I understand that Supercare didn't have a choice. At the end of the day, I am really happy with the comfort of the new machine. I'm a tough customer due to my condition. Gerald, my respiratory therapist, was fantastic. His patients and the fact that he wasn't done until I was satisfied was a real pleasure to deal with. read more

I need refills on my CPAP supplies but I can't get a hold of anyone for the past two weeks with 4 separate attempts. I called their 800 number which a person redirects me to another line. I wait for a few minutes and I get redirected back to the same person which asks me if I would want them to call me back when they're available. I agreed and haven't heard from them for 3 days. I called back again but this time they asked if I would like to be contacted through the phone and email with a note as "High Priority". I waited for 4 days and I STILL haven't received any calls or email from them. I called again today with the same horrible experience so I requested their cpap resupply phone number (877-797-5337) and email. I waited for over 15 minutes and received an automated message saying "There was an error while transferring your call" and they automatically hung up! I called the second time today but waited over 25 minutes over the phone, received the same message and automatically hung up again! There's absolutely no way to reach them for your CPAP refills. Other DMEs automatically ship your supplies when they're due. With SuperCare Health, you would have to manually keep track when you need to refill your supplies and call them on your own. read more

Unfathomable incompetence. Considering this company purports to provide respiratory home health care after hospitalization you would think they would not attempt to call the home of the hospitalized patient while they're still in the hospital. I explained that my mother is in the hospital and they need to call ME so that I can go to her house and wait for delivery of her oxygen compressor. I spent five hours on Sunday waiting for them and four and half hours yesterday waiting for them. They didn't show. And then they have the cahones to say they called several times this morning when I've had my phone next to me and am picking up every single call. They even CALLED ME ON MY CELL on Sunday but now claim they never had my cell phone number. This bastion of incompetence is beyond almost anything I have ever experienced except maybe my experience w my husbands hospice company. And because this was all set up via Medicare, I have no option to go elsewhere so you probably won't have the option either. But just wanted to alert everyone to the fact that this company SUCKS. They do not care. They do not communicate internally. They make you wait for a 5 hour window and flat out don't show up. Zero stars. read more

Over billing, failure to process my orders, a lengthy interrogation to other supplies, never a return phone call though promised by two different supervisors, poor telephone connectivity, staff with poor English speaking skills, and high prices. I just ordered and received within 24 hours needed disposable air filters. SuperCare charged $2 each and took 8 days to arrive. Went to Amazon purchased two dozen, 75.5 CENTS per filter including sales tax, delivered next day. Do yourself a favor, bypass your insurance company and order directly on line. read more
