Wonderful selection of cookware and bakeware in Paris…read more
It's not a far walk from the metro station through some quaint Paris neighborhoods.
The store is not huge but has a lot of selection crammed into a modest space. They have products from all over the world and all sorts of items for cooking and baking including pans of all kinds, small appliances, fondant, silicone molds, colorings, and so much more.
The staff were friendly, spoke English, and seemed happy to help. It was super hot in the store, though. Check their hours as they close for an hour mid-day on Saturday.
We found a few silicone mats (Silpats) for baking macarons, but be warned that the sizes are not exactly the same as those sold in the U.S., so they might not perfectly fit your baking sheets. They had the versions for bread as well (Silpans). Prices seemed quite good compared to prices paid in the U.S. probably since these particular items are made in France.
This was definitely a fun place to grab a few baking items!
