The price that was listed on the shelf was 29 euros. After purchasing the card and leaving the store, I realized that I had paid over 70 euros! I immediately returned and told a young man in the back of the store that the card was the incorrect price and that I needed to return it. He took the card and gave me a printed paper in french that I did not understand. I asked in french if he needed my credit card and he said no. I waited weeks for the charge to be reversed. Eventually I contacted my credit card company. Darty has contested the charge. So I paid an exorbitant price for an item that I don't even posses! ------- Ce magasin m'a volé près de 100 $. Wonderful selection of cookware and bakeware in Paris…read more It's not a far walk from the metro station through some quaint Paris neighborhoods. The store is not huge but has a lot of selection crammed into a modest space. They have products from all over the world and all sorts of items for cooking and baking including pans of all kinds, small appliances, fondant, silicone molds, colorings, and so much more. The staff were friendly, spoke English, and seemed happy to help. It was super hot in the store, though. Check their hours as they close for an hour mid-day on Saturday. We found a few silicone mats (Silpats) for baking macarons, but be warned that the sizes are not exactly the same as those sold in the U.S., so they might not perfectly fit your baking sheets. They had the versions for bread as well (Silpans). Prices seemed quite good compared to prices paid in the U.S. probably since these particular items are made in France. This was definitely a fun place to grab a few baking items!

There were so many molds and tools and everything! I only ended up getting some great pastry bags, a rose mold and a few other small things. If I had more time I would have purchased a knife or two, there are some nice ones. The store is in a perfect location. It's within walking distance from a mall and Notre-dame isn't too far. Great coin laundry…read more Easy step by step instructions. Seats inside to wait. Door remains open, which helps vent out chemicals in the air while you wait. Alternatively, you can sit on the bench outside and still have a view of your machine(s). Baskets available to move wet clothes to dryer. 5 stars because it is very user friendly, they have three sizes of washing machines, the dryer is super fast and best of all, it is clean (for a coin laundry). Note: There is a boulangerie a block away if you get hungry.
