Super weenie is hands down my fav lunch spot. I work in the mall, and I as well as others have walked just to grab some dogs! Their super weenie hot dog is hands down my fav. I get it with regular mustard instead of how it comes. It's the best hot dog I've ever eaten. Not to mention, everyone who works there is so easy going and nice. They're great just to meet!! I suggest this restaurant to anyone looking for a great down town spot to eat! Not much seating other than old church pews around the walls, but the atmosphere is so open and welcoming that's not an issue! And if it's pretty outside, there are places around downtown to eat and hang out in the sunshine! read more

This place is great! My wife in particular likes hot dogs so we stopped in. The guy recommended the Chicago Dog and my wife had the WV Dog. Both were excellent! I would highly recommend. read more

This is the best place for hot dogs in Charleston, WV. They have the best WV dog I have tasted in years. They also have quite a selection of styles and ingredients. The sauces and toppings and made fresh and boy you can taste the difference. They use all beef wieners which totally enhances the hot dog experience. Their relish is amazing. And if you like spicy there is plenty for you as well. The owners and the staff are great and super friendly. The dogs are a little more expensive than most but the fresh ingredients and the all beef wieners make up for that. I am currently eating my way through their menu. Once I have done that I will create my own dog. I love a challenge. It is not a sit down restaurant but there are two nice benches for sitting while you wait and enough room for wheelchairs. If you love dogs, this is the place for you. read more

Wow! Amazing experience! I'm originally from NYC and I haven't seen a corner vender since I've moved here. Jeremy, the owner, is super awesome! He was closing up when myself and another gentleman came up to his cart. He was nice enough to open back up and take care of us. The setting is perfect, right in the park, so you can grab your dogs and enjoy a nice, relaxing break. The hotdogs themselves were great! Can't wait to come back! BTW: Get the curry mustard! It's home made and...OMG! Not spicy, and if you love curry anyway you are going to love this just as much! read more

We tried this small storefront hot dog stand for lunch while we were in Charleston WV and all I cma say is WOW. The food was delicious with generous portions and the service was spectacular. They made us feel so welcome and made sure we knew what was up with the menu. You can get brats and hot dogs anyway you want. And delicious. Great value for the price. Highly recommend this place read more

I'm typically a ketchup/chili on my hotdog type person. Today I decided to change it up with a couple of the different dogs from Super Weenie. I'm so glad I did, those were the best hot dogs I've ever had in my life. I will definitely be returning to try other options. Thanks! read more

Indeed these weenies are super! Very welcoming friendly staff with great, interesting hot dogs flavors. The tahini weenie is my current favorite. If you are in the area and want a casual, quick lunch don't miss this place. Note: No tables and street parking. Open during day only. read more

Jason Myer used to run a portable hot dog stand at the corner of Capitol and Lee Streets in downtown Charleston, and thanks to a growing legion of fans, he has now been able to move into a storefront on Quarrier Street. It's very conveniently located. Maybe you like the signature "West Virginia Hot Dog" served with chili, coleslaw and onions. It's okay, but I prefer my hot dogs with sauerkraut. However you like your hot dogs, you can get them served up with a wide variety a toppings, sauces, and spices. Make sure you try is "Super Mustard" which is curry-flavored. His hot dogs are Nathan's Famous; he also has brats and a "sausage of the day." Jason is a really nice guy, he's a fan of NPR, and he runs a very clean business. But it's take-out only for now. read more

Had the Super Weenie and the WV dog. Both incredible, but the Super (a WV with twist) was otherworldly. Very friendly staff and ridiculously cheap prices. read more

All the way from Indiana visiting West Virginia looking for the best hot dog.. absolutely the best ever..

Out running errands with Hubby and as we arguing about what to eat for lunch, this this place pops up on Yelp. We decided to check it out. I got the almost WV hotdogs. They were delicious. Chips and drink. He ordered 4 hotdogs West Virginia style and a polish dog. They must have been great because he hasn't said a word for about 15 minutes. This a great to visit and I will be back again. Thanks for the awesome service and food. read more

This place is a hidden gem in Charleston WV. The hotdogs are the best I've ever had. So many different varieties and toppings to chose from and they are all reasonably priced. The staff and ownership are very friendly and hard working. read more

Look, they're hot dogs. It's not rocket science. BUT they're good hot dogs with lots of good toppings, great prices, and quick service. What sets this place apart, though, are the people. Holy wow are they great! Whether you're a regular, an occasional customer, or a first-time visitor, they treat you like an old pal. So, throw them some business. You won't be sorry. read more

It's like being a kid again after an exhausting day at the pool and your aunt brings out a tray of hot dogs made with love. That's how these hot dogs taste. read more

I gave this place a five star rating on Facebook. I haven't changed at all. This place fantastic. If you need a quick lunch you better get in early cause I gets packed at lunchtime. A pleasant addition to the downtown the area. read more

They have done a great job during all the changes because of Covid-19. They have no contact payment and limit number of people in the store, but they also make a great hotdog with lots of variety. I tried two different kinds and I will be back to try more. read more

Definitely a go-to daily dog. Friendly as can be and everything I've tried has been delicious. Go for the crispy onion, house mustard, and kraut. Nomnomnom!! read more

Delicious dogs, fast friendly service, and an exceptionally clean store. What's not to love? If you're looking for a quick bite to eat downtown, you're hard pressed to find a better spot than super weenie! read more

This guy care's about hot dogs and he cares about your experience when you buy one of his hot dogs. But the problem is you'll want to eat more than one. That's cool though because they're 2 for $5. Super affordable. He started out with a cart at the corner of Capitol and Lee Streets and now he operates a full restaurant about 2 blocks away on Quarrier street. He's a bonafide hot dog artist! There are several different varieties of franks to try with every toping imaginable. Super Weenie is becoming part of the local culture and at this rate the establishment will soon be a Charleston institution! read more

The hot dog is all beef. They have a variety of toppings. The staff is very friendly. Just one downside, it is pick up only.

Fantastic hot dogs with a HUGE variety of toppings. The staff was extremely friendly! Good customer service and good food are hard to find together these days. read more
