I worried all week that the bus would be late (or not show at all!) for our Sunday field trip, but Hector arrived 5-10 minutes beforehand and had the bus cleaned and ready to board by the time we were ready to go. Safety Concerns The driver attempted to overfill the bus, trying to fit the entire group of over 120 people despite the bus not having enough seats. I personally had to intervene to ensure people were removed from the bus to avoid passengers standing in the aisles. After the fact, we learned that some guests were forced to sit on each other's laps, and the driver reportedly drove erratically to the destination causing two of our guests, who were NOT overserved, to vomit right when they got off. The safety of our guests was compromised, and the shuttle service was managed in a way that was neither professional nor responsible. Service Issues Once I managed to get people off the first shuttle and ensured the driver returned for the second trip (as per the contract/itinerary and what we paid for), the remaining guests were finally able to board. However, the second shuttle was only about 25% full, which underscores that there was no reason to overfill the first bus in such an unsafe manner. Impact on Our Event Because of these issues, my wife and I missed a significant portion of our after-party, as we had to deal with ensuring our guests were transported safely--something that should have been entirely your responsibility. Overall, your service was unprofessional and unsafe. It appeared as though the driver was trying to avoid making the required second trip by overcrowding the first shuttle, which we found unacceptable. The Result After flagging our feedback, not only did we not receive any form of compensation for the poor and unsafe service - they offered a $500 gift card for us to use them again which is wild to assume we'd use that service again.
