    I'm continually disappointed with Durasteam, and perhaps my fault for continuing to give them…read moreanother chance. I'm a landlord and I've had to call them back out after sub-par tile cleaning jobs where they miss a lot of spots, or clean grout ineffectively. No more. The last straw was having air duct cleaning service by them for the first (and last) time. The ducts of an empty apartment were vacuumed out from the registers only a few feet with a plastic hose extension, not all the way through and they didn't use any kind of brush. Then they sprayed a little cleaner in the ducts just as far as they could reach with a spray bottle. They did clean the registers well, but anyone can do that. I was disappointed in the $310 bill for a shoddy job that only took 30 minutes and didn't achieve the result we wanted. The next day we cleaned the air ducts ourselves and did a better job. I'll never use them again.

    My husband booked services with this company to come clean our carpets and area rug. Upon arrival…read morethe tech entered our home and asked to view the rooms that needed to be cleaned. After viewing he asked how would we be paying. My husband said that he would pay however the company required and proceeded to ask what was the accepted form of payment. The tech told him cash or check. My husband told the amount that he was quoted by a lady in the office to verify how much he needed to go get in cash and the tech wasn't for sure of the exact price so he stepped outside to call. He came back in and told us that in order to begin the services the payment had to be made in full and the total was $163. So my husband said "Ok I will run right here to the corner and go get it. I wasn't aware of this policy. My apologies." The tech walks outside, gets in his van and drives off. So my husband calls the office to verify what is going on and the man on the phone told him that they've had problems with people leaving to go get cash and not returning back and waiting on people to go get cash is not what they have time to do. So my husband asked if they inform all customers that cash must be on hand and paid up front. He told my husband NO WE DON'T TELL CUSTOMERS this. What the entire hell?!!! So my mom called back and asked questions. Immediately she was told that if she was paying by cash she had to have it on hand and payment time was at her discretion-meaning she was told she could pay before services began or once they completed them. This was not cool at all but apparently this means there is better for us out there because it isn't coming from DuraSteam!
