I suggest exiting from 1 onto Victoria Road from the west or at Townlsey Street from the east (from Rogers Pass) that also connect to Victoria Road. I highly recommend going through the town (both roads cross the CP tracks by bridge or underpass). Follow Victoria Rd to resume the journey. There is an excellent supermarket on Victoria Road. Thanks to the super kool Aussie workin the cash overnight that night we got our car fixed much sooner at a much better place! Plus we scored some brekkie and were close to a bathroom all night. I don't know." It was such a great response, and yet was so full of condescension that it was awesome. I guess we all make different choices in life. Nonetheless, this one had locks on the doors - if they are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week . . . why the locks?

I drop by many Husky\Esso stations along the way, whether it be to fill up, heat my lunch or get my coffee. I am, by all means, a very quite and respectful person. Unless, like anyone else, provoked. To save money, I bought a thermos a few months ago. As it is, it is a 64 Oz thermos. Now, this thermos is a bit over sized and does not fit into the coffee machine. My method is to simply remove the wire tray that cups sit on and place my thermos to make my coffee. I then replace the wire tray and move on. Monday morning, as I was making my coffee, this one employee at this Golden store came out from the restaurant area saw me making a coffee and said very rudeley 'you can use a cup, you don't have to take my machine apart' Well first of all, it is not the way I make my coffee... 2nd, I am not dismantling the machine to the point he made it sound... it is a wire tray I'm temporarily removing to fit my thermos In any case, I decided ok, I'm just going to pour whatever coffee that was in my thermos into a cup, pay for it and leave. Now I am at the counter, and he sees that I have my thermos and a cup of coffee. He asks, is it the thermos and a cup of coffee. My answer was 'no, only the cup of coffee since you made a big deal of me making my coffee in my thermos' So that is when all he'll broke loose. There are two.employees He started cursing at telling me to pay for my coffee... I had no intention of leaving without paying for it. Of course, I reacted by telling just to ring the fucking thing in so I can get out of there.... I swiped my points cards and was quickly leaving that assholes presence. The next thing I know, I am in between the doors leaving when the two of them came running out of the store ... the one with the big mouth was telling me I am stealing because HE did not ring in my purchase before I swiped my card. I told him it wasn't my problem he didn't do his job... well, the cursing, swearing threats that came from that guy was ridiculous. I'm older, been around the block a few times. So when the second guy went into a fighting stance. I certainly felt threatened, while the other guy continued to curse and tell me to get the fuck back and pay. I did, but again was threatened to the point I thought i was going to have to call the police. Out of the 5 or 6 Husky Stations I go to along the way between Vancouver and Calgary... and sometimes Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
