I had the window open and there is lots of traffic going by. I couldn't hear what he said. He was then annoyed I didn't understand he wanted me to pull forward. He then acted annoyed when I didn't unlock the gas cap fast enough for his taste. I asked for the inspection and he said the guy was gone for 30 min. I said fine, I would come back later. I considered not going back after that nonsense and I shouldn't have. I pulled up and was going to hand the keys over and the guy refused to get in the car because there was dog hair on the seat. I had taken my dog to the vet earlier in the day. I argued with him a little, and he said that it would get on his clothing. He then said he didn't want to catch anything from it. I told him that there aren't any diseases you can get from dog hair. He's worried about dog hair when I've seen how absolutely filthy the office is. I then went somewhere else and got it done. They weren't crybabies about a little dog hair. Never giving these nutcases another sent. I'll make sure all my neighbors are aware as well since I live a few blocks away.

Back in May, my 2006 Jeep Wrangler had a cracked tailpipe and a passenger's side window (handcrank)…read morethat was off-track. I called Lucey's on a Thurs morning and was able to schedule an appointment within two days. My Jeep was ready by early afternoon on the day of the appointment, and the work was excellent. The new muffler and tailpipe assembly is reminiscent of the factory version that came with the Jeep when I bought it new ... not loud, and rattle-free when I hit a bump. And the passenger's side window now goes up and down with ease. Based on that visit, I brought it back a few weeks later for a new air filter, brake inspection, and emergency brake fix. Once again, all the work was completed professionally, efficiently, and, most importantly, correctly ... so in all cases, Lucey's (in particular, Stevie) did an outstanding job with my Jeep. And if you're comparing local repair shops, note that, before going to Lucey's, I made the terrible mistake of having the other NAPA Auto Care center in Melrose, Certified Automotive Disasters (Upham Street), do a substantial amount of mechanical and body work ... see my Google and Yelp reviews for details of that monumental debacle. Like any service business, honesty, integrity, and competence are paramount, and I found all three at Lucey's ... if you're looking for those qualities in a repair shop, call them.
