Went in for a deluxe pedicure this morning and I had a nice experience. It came with a 10min massage plus hot stone massage along with paraffin treatment and cooling lotion for the massage. There was also a scrub he did on my legs and feet in the beginning. The callous removal was much needed and very thorough. The only thing I don't remember him doing is the cuticle removal. Not a big deal as I am hoping to get one more pedicure before the birth of our second son. While drying, the man gave a very nice back massage. He was nice and the paint job was good although it could have used a third coat. For $41, I was happy. When I am back visiting my parents, I would come back as it is super close to them and the price is right for the quality of work. read more

My daughter and I came in today with gift certificates I received for Christmas. There were no prices at the register so I told the woman at the front that I had two $30 gift cards and asked what we could get and they said a pedicure, so we went in for pedicures. At the seats they had prices listed and it was $36 for a mani and pedi, so I decided we'd spend a little extra and do that! The woman told me NO. No? No, you said pedicure and it's pedicure only. I had decided right there that I'd never go back, but fine. At the end, I still owed $2 and gave the woman a $20, expecting my $18 change and then I'd tip the women who gave us our pedicures. Instead, the woman took the entire change and then split it between with the two women without even offering me my change?! I planned on tipping them $5 each but instead the woman gave them $9 each. So basically we paid $80 for two pedicures. At this point, that's when I decided I would have to review this place on Yelp as they're pretty much ripping people off with shady employees. The techs are very polite and quiet. Even when they're busy they get you in pretty quickly. Yesterday I went in for a pedicure and ANC. When she was filing my toe nails, there was quite a bit of pain. I looked down and the corners of my toes were all red. My nails are shaped weird, so I cut her some slack on that. Then we proceeded to the manicure station for the ANC and things were fine until the end. She was using the power shaper and nicked my cuticle. She apologized and put some green liquid on it, which I assume was antiseptic of some sort. I've never had ANC before but these are not smooth. They're warped. I'm assuming people wouldn't be going crazy for this technology if this is what they were supposed to look like. The next day and the cuticle is red, puffy, and occasionally bleeding. read more

The place was very clean, and they were courteous and polite - no complaints there. But 9 days later - my Shellac is coming off in chunks around my cuticle area and only seems to be adhering properly to the front of the nail. There is a lot that I like about this place. 1) They aren't super chatty, with each other or with you. I really like going some place that asks some basic questions but doesn't try to be your best friend, or have side conversations that you cannot understand. 2) They do such an incredible job with using paraffin wax for your feet and your hands, and lovely leg massages. 3) I love the colors and they seem to last a considerable amount of time. The negatives aren't that bad. 1) when you book a Mani Pedi for three people in advance they should have you all starting at the same time, and have mani's next to eachother. Which they didn't. I know it's hard to have three available at the same time, which is why we made a reservation. that's about all I have for the negatives. Very friendly staff when you walk in except little hard to understand. walked in with an overlay of soak off uv gel that needed to come off, the woman had taken my hand and started cutting at my pinky and ring finger, even though i told her no since they were my real nail!! ouch. Then she had me put my hands in a bowl of acetone, instead of letting my hands soak she let them sit for maybe 5 minutes and then started prying at my nails and seperating the fake tip from my real nail(which had grew to an acceptable length to keep). In the process she pulled off every tip, very painfully and ripped my real nail tip off in the process. When seperating she dug under my real nail, made it feel like i didn't have a nail anymore. All throughout the process she kept burning my finger and being very rough. in the end i had pretty nails, except she ended up charging me for applying tips even though she ripped every single one off. Less than two weeks later and my anc starts breaking off in pieces. Not sure if she didn't dehydrate my nail enough or it wasn't applied correctly but hurt a lot when they started to crack off. read more

Less than a week and my nails are already starting to come off. On top of that, the guy did not completely take off my previous nail polish before putting them on. I did not catch this until it was too late. As for my pedicure, it was fine. The nail polish still looks as good as new, and the women were nice. I have been going to super nails since they've opened. I always go to Ellen or León the owners, for my anc. My anc usually lasts up to a month and at that point my nails have grown out too far so I end up going back! Pedicures I don't usually get but the few times I have they always turn out nice!! I have read other reviews on here and many say the owners and staff are rude, they aren't being rude they just have trouble understanding English (since they are all from different countries). Horrible. Paid for full elite package (manicure/pedicure). Pedicure nail coverage did not include a top coat and peeled off. Manicure was rough! Pulled skin off my middle finger all the way up to tip of finger and got horrible infection. Also, itchy fungus at heel of foot. Now off to another dermatologist and on antibiotics! While I initially loved this salon when I first tried it about 14 months ago, after my last visit I refuse to step foot back in the door. They have an extremely high turn over of employees. I've been established with two different techs, who were terrific and then all of a sudden they are "on vacation" and never to be seen from again. I've also witnessed this with at least two other techs who are no longer working there. The owner, Leon, is rude. He didn't start off that way. Once he lured me in, he stopped being friendly & barely responded when I would say hello to him. The icing on the cake was when I went in for a polish change on my toes, and of course my usual tech was "on vacation" so he gave someone I've never seen before. She was extremely rough, and I had to tell her twice that she was hurting me while cutting my toenails. She was not professional and spent all of about 5 minutes cutting and polishing my toes. She didn't greet or speak to me, just roughly gestured at what I was supposed to do. Quickest manicure I ever got. My daughter HATED her experience. We paid for a full manicure. She did not get the paraffin treatment. In addition, when she told her technician what she wanted (blue nails with a white flower), she was told, "White flower? Not pretty. Pick another color." My daughter stuck to her guns and demanded the white flower. Her nails were chipping not 2 hours later. Mine are also looking old at the cuticle less than 24 hours later. I have gone to Super Nails many times. Today will be my last! They don't do a horrible job but honestly not the best around anyway so I'm not heartbroken about that part. I always get A & C done and I have been going to a really nice place in Clifton Park lately but needed them done and needed to stay closer to home so I went here. I have been getting what's called an hombre on two nails. I simply asked if this was something they could do (showed them my nails) I was told yes. She said just pick your colors. So I did and then told her what colors I wanted ontop for the hombre then was told oh to much we can't ok I said no problem so you don't do that? Yea yea we do no they didn't know what I was talking about and that was fine. So then they said how about gold glitter ontop of your two nails I said ok sounds good. I thought one lady was going to be taking me she was going to stick me with this one man the only rude man there (other bad experience I had there) and I said I'm sorry if that's my only option I rather not get them done he's rude and this is supposed to be a relaxing nice time and I had a horrible experience with him my last time coming in. So she helps me (mind you there was about 2 other ladies sitting around playing on there phones and it was only my friend and I there and one other person and they had a ton of staff. I sat for over 25 mins to get my old A & C off while they kept changing me from person to person till they stick me with another yet jerk of a guy. Who once I said I would like tips on got even more rude being rough with my hands making faces, rushing just wanted zero part of doing my nails. Then said are these your colors I said yes nicely and he said what's the gold for I explained he looked at me with rage I was like umm if it's a problem or you don't know how then just at this point don't bother the lady subjected the gold and he didn't say a word and never tried. Me not keeping my mouth shut finally said a couple things and at the end I told him completely how I felt. I did not tip and felt bad although he did not deserve one especially after arguing with me (very unprofessional) about how he was not behaving that way and I said bottom line you made me extremely uncomfortable and this is a place I come for peace and this is the second time this has happened in this salon and will be my last. I would stay away from this lazy, rude more expensive also for what you get and what they know how to do salon and go elsewhere! Some of the ladies are very nice don't get me wrong. Very disappointing, not only was the customer service here miserable, but the owner hung up on me when I called with a request for another manicure or a refund. I have never had such a terrible experience at a nail salon and would never go back. My gel manicure peeled off 3 days after my appointment. When I called to figure out the next steps, I was told that it was impossible to do and the only solution was to go back immediately for another manicure. When I told them I couldn't come in immediately and would have to remove what was left by myself and asked how to do so, I was told it was not possible to do on my own because they used a product that I wasn't allowed to know the name of because I don't have a cosmetic license, but that it also was not his responsibility how I get it off.
