When I spoke to Pat again he said that he told me that he could not look at it for at least two weeks, a flat out lie. I am not unhappy to have returned and I did take the engine back. I feel that if he so blatantly lied to me about the repair he was not trustworthy and a person I was best not dealing with.

He also gave us a tour of the well-appointed service department and the dealership, and took us on a test drive of a Subaru Crosstrek. Paul's professionalism, excellent communication skills and his non-pushy sales approach prompted us to return (without hesitation) to Grand Prix Subuaru a few weeks later to sign a lease deal. While I initially brought my car in for a routine oil and oil filter change, after mentioning to her a possible problem with my front end suspension bushings, she decided to hold onto my car to look into the matter, particularly since my extended warranty was within miles of expiring ......she was kind enough to arrange for a loaner which I held onto for almost one week. What I initally thought would be a conventional oil change morphed into warranty service for several leaking areas of my transmission and the repalcement of the front end bushings.....Megan was most informative and communicated with me thoughout the process.....she arranged for all the work to be covered under my extended warranty.....Once I picked up my car, I was fortunate enough to meet the general manager , Mike Volonakis who diercted me the finance dept, where Jose arranged for another exended warranty for my 2021 Crosstrek......as was the case with Megan, the service and attention provided by Mike V and by Jose was exceptional........ When I told her otherwise and questioned, if they're doing this to ask for storage fees, she said no! We don't charge for storage. I told her I don't like to lie and I will bring the car when I get a date. Somehow, they ended up calling my husband to drop off the car because they need it to have the car there and would let me know when the appraisal would come to do the inspection. No one called me and unfortunately my husband dropped off the car. I should of trusted my instict! I told my husband that the place sounds fishy and I don't feel comfortable with their tactics just wasn't right and we would go pick up the car the following day. Aside from needing the car since we had to travel. I ended up calling to let them know that the car will be getting picked up and I would take it to a different place. I was told that now I have to pay for charges incurred, Im thinking okay well for less than 24 hours it won't be insane as long as I can take the car not knowing that the estimate was done that morning. When I get hit with the bill, 2,450.55. According to them 30% of whatever they got for appraisal, fees for Labor, storage, administrative, etc. Mind you the car was dropped off on a Thursday afternoon at 1:15pm and went the following day to pick it up at 1:30pm. This guy Eddie, said well if you would of told me to try to get more money from insurance and said to go half, we would of come to an agreement and split." He said that the agreement I signed they can change it whenever they feel like it because it'sbot what it says! I ended calling the insurance to alert them of the scam this people are doing and that's when I was told that the appraiser had already done the estimate that morning. No wonder they are growing their business scamming people asking all cash for money so they can avoid paying taxes and other fees. This guy guy came up with all sorts of excuses. I'm being charged because I don't want my car to get fixed there, that they have to pay for this program which takes them time to do the appraisal (mind you insurance does the work and sends their people), that he has to get paid, the lady has to get paid, that they have to order parts, when it was just appraised only hours. The only thing they did was to take money out, easy money. Be awared, please take your vehicles to a place where it's registered directly with the insurance company! I live down the street so I walked up. The guy at the front desk moved beyond slow and couldn't even recommend anyone locally for a tow truck. He didn't even know what a tow truck was and he seemed lost. I know, Night Shift guys pumping gas may not know who to recommend. I got a tow after hitting google and had the car dropped off. Spoke to the owner the following day at 7. Explain the situation with my car with the ABS lights. He told me he'll look at it at some point during the day. That I just gotta give him time cause he's jammed up and to call in the afternoon to see if they had a chance to check it out. I called at 1 o'clock and a lady answer the phone told me they were just about to put the car into the bay to work on and call back in about an hour. I call back in an hour. The owner picks up and start screaming at me like a lunatic. I've never been spoken to such a way in all my years working customer service and dealing with the public; he was screaming at me so much my boss could hear him over the phone and we were looking at each other horrified. Like I told him I understand you jammed up I was just told by the young lady you were bringing into the bay in an hour ago and call and see if you figure out what the issue was. I can't get off the phone. He would not let me get off the phone screaming at me for over a five minutes and how they still did it look at the issue on the car yet. I called him back later in the day as I'm about to leave work at 4 and I told him I just need to know if you have an idea what the issue is and if I have to make arrangements for the following day for a ride; and again screaming at me like a wild lunatic to only call me a half an hour later and they fixed the car quoted me 300 when I got there it went up to 500 and change. And again he kept yelling at me that I wasn't giving them time and how dare I call. I refuse to do business with them again and I do not recommend them to anyone there is no reason to speak to a human being that way to carry on like a psychopath and as it is, I gotta take the car now to another mechanic this morning cause the brakes aren't working after what they did. Very poor customer service attitude, and I am incredibly angry and disappointed in the way I was treated and spoken to and that the amount of money I spent I gotta still take my car to another Mechanic. BUYER BEWARE -- MY EXPERIENCE WITH BELLMORE HARLEY-DAVIDSON…read more I strongly recommend that anyone considering purchasing a motorcycle from Bellmore Harley-Davidson read this before signing anything. My experience with salesman Tony was extremely disappointing. During the sales process, I was told that several items--including the GPS, warranty, service, and alarm--were included in the deal. I relied on those representations when agreeing to the purchase. After the deal was completed, I discovered that $1,850 in additional charges for those items had been added to my loan. That is not a minor misunderstanding. That is a significant amount of money, and it completely changed the financial terms of the deal I believed I had agreed to. I immediately challenged the charges and demanded that the situation be corrected. To their credit, the finance manager ultimately reimbursed me the full $1,850 in cash, and I have a text confirmation documenting that reimbursement. But here's the problem: I should never have had to fight to get that money back in the first place. A motorcycle dealership should operate on transparency and trust. If a salesperson tells a customer something is included in the purchase price, the customer should be able to rely on that statement--not discover after the paperwork is signed that thousands of dollars have been added to the financing. The fact that I ultimately received my $1,850 back does not erase the experience or the complete lack of confidence it created in the transaction. My advice: get EVERY promise in writing, scrutinize every line of the purchase agreement and financing documents, and do not assume that anything a salesperson tells you is actually included unless you can see it in writing. I walked into Bellmore Harley-Davidson expecting to buy a motorcycle and trust the people selling it to me. I walked away feeling like I had to fight to make sure I wasn't charged for things I was told were already included.
