I was skeptical of how super duper my impossible burger would be based on the negative reviews. But, I was pleasantly surprised! Although the impossible burger comes with onions and pickles and sauce, I switched things up and deleted the veggies and added Swiss cheese. The add-ons are limited. I didn't see tomato or avocado as an option and Swiss was the only real cheese available. The strong-silent-type working at the counter also surprised me. When we received our order, the fries were cold. My husband politely asked if we could get some fresh ones (when we heard them frying a batch) and he said "Sure." And he gave us a basketful when they finished. Nice. You are in a food hall, so just grab a seat in or outside, by a window watching the birds, or whatever you like. It's casual. They text you when your order is ready. Our burgers were nicely smashed, cooked well, and flavorful. The brioche bun was soft and fresh (probably lots of preservatives, but oh well). I'm surprised the reviews are so low because honestly I think the chicken is delicious. The breading is amazing. It definitely tastes hand breaded to me. I got the chicken tenders and fries, but next time I should get the kids chicken tenders and fries, because my son who always orders this ends up devouring pizza from another spot. If he does say he doesn't want chicken tenders, I could probably get away with just getting fries here. However, that would be a shame. The chicken is where it's at. The chicken is tender too. One of the better chicken tenders I've had (and I've eaten a lot because of the kids.) The fries I find just ok. The chicken tenders are huge. That is a four year olds hand in the picture, not to throw anyone off, but they are big. I would always have to share. This place is in the back of the joinery. This place is located in the joinery. It had been years since eating at this spot. We were over the pizza place letting us down so we tried a different joinery option. The prices are reasonable. The chicken was lightly breaded but even more lightly seasoned. While it came out hot, juicy, great sized, it lacked flavor because of minimal seasoning. The fries were crinkle cut with no salt, pepper or seasoning. It was pretty disappointing so I drowned the fries It took probably 30 minutes for them to fry up the food, but it was fresh. They're the only business in the entire co-op that is always out of everything. The most mid burger I ever had. Almost $40 for two burgers that were soaked in grease top to bottom. Had a great first experience with SuperDuper, ordering a single smashburger. I found it moist, flavorful, nicely cooked, imitating a Big Mac with "special sauce" and a great pickle. They also sell chicken and have some unique twists on their burgers. It's worth further exploration. The clerk was friendly and the food served promptly with a steady flow of customers. My "beef" if any with the Joinery as a whole is that you buy an empty beverage cup and retrieve your drinks from a dark closed off sometimes less than sanitary "tunnel" far from the food booth or where you might eat. Likely outside the specific seller's control but nonetheless, less than a 5 star "total" eating experience. read more

Ordered takeaway for Saturday night. This restaurant is in the back "alley" of the Joinery, a shared space with several other eateries. It's a little hard to find parking as the Joinery is popular on a Saturday night. The burgers and fries were ready to go when I arrived. At home, we found the burgers to be good, if unexceptional. The fries were krinkle-cut, like Ore-Ida brand bagged. There are few burger topping options. Burgers come with Super Sauce (like a good remoulade), onions, pickles on a Martin's potato roll; everything else is an upcharge. A single with bacon, egg, cheese & fries is $17+, depending on the cheese choice. Any extra sauce is at an extra charge too. Burgers can be "Impossible" if desired. There are also chicken sandwiches that looked appealing, and some breakfast/brunch options. On UberEats, the total came to $54 for a triple burger, a single with bacon, egg & pepper jack cheese, and a single with no bun, and fries.That's expensive with respect to 5 Guys & other burger options near here. I can't recommend this location b/c $$, but if you're at the Joinery, whatever you get will be overpriced anyway, so at least the burgers are satisfying. Staff on duty were welcoming and friendly. Worst customer service. My daughter was served cold dry fries. When I went to ask for fresh cook to order fries, they said it would take 1/2 hours and I gave them the back the original batch of cold dry fries. I returned for the fresh cook to order fries and they literally gave me the same basket of fries I originally returned them. Ok so I really like the impossible burger with sweet potato fries and I get it fairly often. When I went in this week, my fries were burnt. I asked if some new ones could be dropped because these were very clearly burnt. The man argued with me and said they were not burnt and I could not have new fries and I would just have to "eat it."
