I'm comparing it to other moderately-priced hotels located on the interstate of small towns, not the Bellagio in Vegas.

Standard breakfast was hot and good options. Eggs sausage patties. Bacon. Etc Fruit basic was ok. But overall how clean it was deserves a five starr and please tip them. They deserve it.

I want to start by saying that the housekeeping team deserves 5 stars all the way around…read more Everything was exceptionally clean throughout our entire stay, and it was obvious that the housekeeping staff takes great pride in their work. They were the highlight of our experience. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of options. My kids absolutely loved the waffles and the pancake maker, and it was nice to have a variety of choices available each morning. Unfortunately, there were several issues that prevented me from giving this hotel 5 stars. We stayed from Thursday through Monday, and the front desk staff consistently appeared disengaged. If they were not actively helping a guest, they were usually on their phones. We rarely received a smile, greeting, or even a simple acknowledgment when entering or leaving the property. Hospitality starts with customer service, and that was noticeably lacking during our stay. The most concerning example was during the night shift. On multiple occasions, two front desk employees were stretched out on the lobby sofas as if they were taking a nap. As a hotel General Manager myself, this would be considered unacceptable behavior and would result in corrective action. The front desk is the face of the hotel and should remain attentive and aware of guests and activity within the property. That lack of awareness became even more concerning on our last morning. An older male guest approached and spoke to my youngest child more than once when I was not standing directly beside her. The first interaction immediately gave me an uneasy feeling. Later, during breakfast, I observed him speaking to her again and asking where she lived. When I stepped around the corner, his reaction suggested he knew the interaction was inappropriate. I immediately removed my child from the situation. This experience reinforced my concern that the front desk staff was not paying attention to what was happening in common areas. Human trafficking and predators are very real concerns, and hotel staff play an important role in maintaining a safe environment. Front desk employees should be visible, alert, walking the lobby, making eye contact with guests, and remaining aware of suspicious behavior. Additionally, there was a wedding taking place on Saturday, and I witnessed the groom involved in a heated altercation with one of his groomsmen. I attempted to contact the front desk, but the phone in my room was not working. The hotel has a lot going for it, especially its cleanliness and breakfast offerings, but customer service, attentiveness, and guest safety need significant improvement. Housekeeping exceeded expectations, but the front desk team's lack of professionalism and awareness ultimately impacted our overall experience.

TL:DR I liked the place but several people found fault. Ask for room 200. That's where I am right…read morenow, and it's great. Book your hotels thru Priceline. I'm a bit surprised by all the negative comments about this hotel, and, specifically, the rooms. Mine must have been recently renovated, because the bedding was new and clean and better than Fairfield Inns and some Courtyards I've stayed at. It was clean and the furniture was in good condition. The sink area had marble (faux?). I haven't used the shower yet but, even though the fixtures are new-ish, the drain looks kinda old and groaty. It was cold outside, and after dark (almost Oct), so I couldn't see the pool, even though my room overlooked it. There may be some older rooms, though, because several people warned about various problems. This is an older hotel, and it's showing its age, but I've stayed at much worse. I like the free breakfast, (at least I HOPE I will). I haven't eaten at a Denny's in probably 20 years, so I don't know what to expect. I got the room thru Priceline for $59 a night, so my expectations have been exceeded. I always use Priceline for hotels, unless I'm using points. I left my room in good condition, so you can ask for Room 200 when you check in. I left it in perfect condition.

we had three families traveling through, and saw some OK reviews, so we stopped here. I called to…read moremake sure I could get adjoining rooms. I was on the phone for about 30 minutes verifying 4 rooms, 2 of which HAD to be adjoining. when we arrived at 9:45 pm, the girl (who was the one I had talked to on the phone-it was her voice) told me we didn't get there early enough for adjoining rooms and she didn't have any. after many questions and talks with the group, I decided we could just squish into one room and stay there because we didn't want to load up and go somewhere else. so, I asked the girl to cancel that extra room, since she gave it away after verifying I would have it. she proceeded to tell me she could not cancel a room and I'd have to call the 1 800 choice number. after traveling all day, that was the straw that broke the camels back! I just gave up and said lets go to bed and deal with this tomorrow. The hotel itself was old and nasty. No elevators, stairs are old and carpet falling apart, an old falling down hotel on the same property as this one. The kicker was that our room had hair all over the bathroom floor, another in our group had public hair in the bathroom floor, and the last in our group had some one else's dirty PANTIES AND BRA in the bathroom. How can a cleaning crew miss dirty clothes?? We told the front desk all of this Information and all he said was, "I'm sorry." Do not stay here. All choice hotels re going downhill, but we didn't realize it is this bad. Stay at a Hilton or best western. Choice has gone downhill, and they don't even care.

We googled 'hotels near me' and found this place along with four others. Rodeway inn was the cheapest out of all the other ones, so we decided to call and book a night here. I liked that it was $57 a night. It was a quick place to lay your head and continue on tomorrow late morning. The guy was very helpful and even though they were closed, he said he would wait 15 minutes for us to get here, which was very convenient. The room was a lot better than what I expected for a $57 night stay. I liked that it was a drive and park in front of your room hotel. I also liked that the room was decent sized, clean, and the air works. Not a bad little trucker stop hotel. The truckers rest spot is literally right across from the rooms. The only thing that I didn't like was that the window in the bathroom isn't secure good at all. The pieces of glass shake and move, they are the sliding kind. Yes, it is a smaller window but is still kinda makes you feel uneasy. There is a trucker stop gas station within walking distance of the motel. You can walk there in under 2 minutes if need be Another nice aspect of this hotel is that they accept dogs. I dont have a dog, but it's $10 for a pet. Which is a good deal. Miso much different from Minnesota. I also liked that they had WiFi. I have been roaming without service for the last 8 hours I've been in Nebraska, so it was nice to be able to use my social media.

My front door deadbolt was COMPLETELY missing, the front door lock was so jiggly a 8 year old could have broken in. The rear window for the room was held closed with a paper clip. I had to secure the front door with a chair under the doorknob and locked the bathroom door. All this just to sleep. And despite it being a smoke free room, reeked of smoke. Tons of mold and mildew in the bathroom and the breakfast was already put away with 45 minutes left in their posted times. The only remaining food, powdered donuts were so hard I took a bite and kept it moving. I'm a pretty simple guy, but this place is dangerous as hell. AVOID AT ALL COSTS EVERYONE!
