We're in the middle of a cross-country move and booked our stay at the Quality Inn well in advance. When we arrived after 10+ hours on the road, we were informed that they had booked the room we had already reserved and paid for, didn't have a room ready for us, and eventually put us in a room with one bed instead of the two we had booked. The room was filthy AF & absolutely disgusting. It stank like a high school boys locker room crossed with a dirty barn, there were pubes in the sink and shower (including the shower ledge), blood spots on the comforter, sticky spots & stains all over the furniture surfaces, handprints and fingerprints all over the bottoms of the mirrors, and some kind of dirt or crumbs all over the carpet. We didn't want to be precious and we were exhausted so we figured we'd just suck it up, but after listening to 45 minutes of non-stop shrieking from the 20+ young women in the pool outside our window, we asked if we could be moved to a different room on the outside of the hotel. We were told they could move us 3 doors down - further into the noise - but that was all they could do because pets can only stay in that cluster of nasty rooms right off the pool for whatever reason. We looked for another hotel in the area & after finding nothing close by, we decided to stick it out. We really regretted that this morning after an abysmally restless night due to how noisy it is and how little the curtains do to black out the bright-ass lights shining through the windows, and especially when we noticed more blood stains on our comforter and pulled it back to discover there were even more on the sheets underneath. When we asked to speak to a manager upon checkout, we were told by a very jaded front desk clerk that the manager was not there (shocker), but that we could leave our complaints & they'd call us back. She listened to us contemptuously, didn't apologize once, didn't offer any sort of recompense, and seemed like this was a routine she was well used to. There was also a $50 upcharge for our pets that we weren't informed of until we arrived, and they charge an extra $6 to stay on the ground floor (which you don't seem to be able to do if you have a pet, so if you're disabled, you're SoL). There is no elevator and there are no luggage carts. There were no pet waste bags in the dispenser in the pet area. Dead roaches all over the ground everywhere. The building is not secure at all and anyone can walk in off the streets and right up to your room. All close non-fast food restaurants close at 9pm and the fast food options are grim. If you can stay anywhere else, do it; this place is beyond foul.

    Welcome!

Most staff were very nice. Stopped overnight on cross country road trip. The property is circa 1965 I'm guessing, with some valiant attempts at renovation. Entire facility, other than the room, was filthy, tattered and tawdry. Value wise this is a $49 trucker hotel masquerading as a mid-tier. Pervasive funk smell. Crawling with PWT. Happy to have slept on top of bedding long enough to flee without getting fleas. They offer a "breakfast buffet" voucher for the adjacent Denny's which should be investigated by the franchising corporation for quality compliance. One notch above picking thru a dumpster (will post pics of all). God how I wish I had been warned! HEED MY ADVICE- I WOULD RATHER HAVE SLEPT IN A REST AREA. NIGHTMARE!

Clean, cheap, free Denny's breakfast. That's enough boxes checked for an overnight stay off the interstate.

BEWARE SOLO FEMALE TRAVELERS - Overcharging, Misrepresentation, and Predatory Behavior…read more I feel compelled to share for the safety and awareness of fellow travelers. On 2/14/24 around 6pm I arrived after seeing high reviews on Google and booking.com. booking.com and the Super 8 website both listed the basic rooms at $55 per night. However, upon arriving at the hotel and requesting a room, the front desk employee informed me that the room rate would be $70 per night. Despite showing him the online listings for $55/night, the employee insisted he had no control over the pricing but offered a "discount" bringing the cost to $60/night. I agreed to expedite the check in process. I requested an itemized receipt which he was hesitant to provide, and when he did give me one I had been charged $61 instead of the $60 he said. I didn't complain because I just wanted to be done with the check in. He then pointed me to my room which was about as close to the check in desk as you could get. I left to grab my bag but something didn't feel right so I double-checked the Super 8 website which explicitly showed that there were $55/night rooms available at this location. I returned to the front desk and showed the employee the Super 8 website showing the $55 rate, at which point he claimed it was the member price and later stating it was due to an online discount, both of which turned out to be untrue. The combination of the employees shady evasive behavior and the location of the room he put me in made me incredibly uncomfortable and at this point I told him I no longer felt comfortable staying there and requested a refund. The employee then demanded the itemized receipt back, which I refused, before finally proceeding with the refund. On the refund receipt he put the reason for refund being "guest has problem with rate", when in actuality it was me having a problem with him lying. Nowhere on the Super 8 website, including under additional rate details, is there wording indicating that the rates displayed online are an "online only" rate or discount. The clerk also used other excuses as to why the rate he was charging me was different than the online rate - It wasn't until I returned to the front desk a second time (and after other excuses) that he told me it was an online discount. After leaving and checking the Super 8 website again, it became evident that he had likely booked me into the most expensive suite (listed at $70/night) without my consent and without telling me, despite requesting a basic room. He failed to disclose this upgrade and provided false information about the $55 rate, claiming it was a member price or due to an online discount, both of which were untrue. I believe he purposefully did this so that my room would be in close proximity to him. I STRONGLY urge that management look into this and that prospective guests, especially women traveling alone, look for lodging elsewhere. The employee in question has almond/honey skin-tone, a foreign accent, and a letter "J." inked on an inner forearm. The employee was not wearing a nametag and did not give me his name. I firmly believe this employee was preying on me. EDIT: The hotel continues to respond back saying that after I was quoted $70 and I showed the desk clerk the $55 online rate they informed me I could book the room online for that rate. That is absolutely untrue - the clerk used other excuses as to why the rate he was charging me was different than the online rate - It wasn't until I returned to the front desk a second time (and after other excuses) that he told me it was an online discount. I replied to the hotel that if they produce the surveillance/CCTV footage and I am mistaken, I will remove all of my negative reviews of this super 8. I hope they do because the footage will also show me avidly and clearly asking the clerk WHY he didn't tell me the online rate is if you book online only AT THE BEGINNING of this interaction when I showed him the rate on my phone.

We googled 'hotels near me' and found this place along with four others. Rodeway inn was the cheapest out of all the other ones, so we decided to call and book a night here. I liked that it was $57 a night. It was a quick place to lay your head and continue on tomorrow late morning. The guy was very helpful and even though they were closed, he said he would wait 15 minutes for us to get here, which was very convenient. The room was a lot better than what I expected for a $57 night stay. I liked that it was a drive and park in front of your room hotel. I also liked that the room was decent sized, clean, and the air works. Not a bad little trucker stop hotel. The truckers rest spot is literally right across from the rooms. The only thing that I didn't like was that the window in the bathroom isn't secure good at all. The pieces of glass shake and move, they are the sliding kind. Yes, it is a smaller window but is still kinda makes you feel uneasy. There is a trucker stop gas station within walking distance of the motel. You can walk there in under 2 minutes if need be Another nice aspect of this hotel is that they accept dogs. I dont have a dog, but it's $10 for a pet. Which is a good deal. Miso much different from Minnesota. I also liked that they had WiFi. I have been roaming without service for the last 8 hours I've been in Nebraska, so it was nice to be able to use my social media.

My front door deadbolt was COMPLETELY missing, the front door lock was so jiggly a 8 year old could have broken in. The rear window for the room was held closed with a paper clip. I had to secure the front door with a chair under the doorknob and locked the bathroom door. All this just to sleep. And despite it being a smoke free room, reeked of smoke. Tons of mold and mildew in the bathroom and the breakfast was already put away with 45 minutes left in their posted times. The only remaining food, powdered donuts were so hard I took a bite and kept it moving. I'm a pretty simple guy, but this place is dangerous as hell. AVOID AT ALL COSTS EVERYONE!
